I don't recognize these as a Randy's Donut at all, tasted bad even for a 5pm donut. Over priced & very dry with weird texture, tasting very different than Inglewood location. Randy's in general is one of the best donuts I've had. I would even say my preferred donut but this review is just for this location. Pros - parking - best of any location. It's free and there's plenty! - outdoor tables - there's a few tables outside in case you can't wait to bring it home - customer service - the employees are nice and they have a good process of you ordering and then paying. I've gone twice and didn't spend any longer than 10 minutes Cons - it's really just the recipe or the way they are cooking the donuts here. It's not the usual Randy's. - The matcha just tasted like a donut with a ton if I one. No matcha flavor at all. - The normal glazed donut - Randy's is normally my favorite place to get a glazed since you would usually get this fluffy, light, perfect glaze to donut ratio kinda donut. It can be a day old and it's still fluffy and light. This location just tasted like a donut from a local donut store around the corner Given this is the first week of the location being open, I'm hoping they'll get it right soon but I figured I would share some initial thoughts. read more

Came here for the grand opening, however came during closing! I had no idea they closed this early but I'm glad we were able to get in just in time. It was opening day and let me tell you they were cleaned out. They only had a couple of items left so we got twists. Definitely plan on coming back this weekend to try other flavors. Not the same as the original, I live the Nutella but here my doughnut was weird shaped with one side bigger than the other and they dipped the smaller side in the Nutella it was also vey thin which I have had a couple time at the original, the thing is when you get a fresh one with thick Nutella on it it's just amazing, my sons maple bacon bar had a lot of bacon but again the maple was thin, I got a dozen for the grips because we are starting back today on "The Voice" right around the corner then back to the main stage at universal, I hope they like their donuts. Basics- the donuts here are bad. You'll read other reviews that say this, and, like I did, you'll think "okay so they aren't great donuts. But no donut is bad. So they'll just be regular donuts." Both times we bought donuts, they were bad, but we were eating outside. So we decided okay we chose wrong and bought two more, but the other two were also bad. Tried 9 different flavors from here in total. Each was bad. Most tasted day old. Kids may really like it as the regular basic donuts here are super sweet. I know you'll think "it's a donut, it's supposed to be sweet." And I agree. Trust me. I eat a lot of dessert- too much dessert, and its soooo sweet I couldn't do it. I'd suggest Donut Hut on Magnolia and Buena Vista instead. The donuts there are great and 1/2 the cost. Donuts here were about 4-5$ each. At Donut Hut, we got 3 donuts for $4.50. read more

Love randys donuts! They go above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy. I ordered though yelp/grubhub because I know their lines in person can be long and while I chose my favorites, I was bummed to find out about 10 min before I was going to pick up the donuts, they canceled 2 of my favorites. However, when I get to the store, I asked if I can sub the refunded ones for different ones and the manager just gave me the ones that were freshly cooked for free! Amazing! Pro tip, if you don't want to wait in line, order ahead. I will definitely be coming back week over week. Lol! read more

I think their donuts are better than most of the donut shops around L.A. I was happy to hear they were opening a location in Burbank. The spot where it's located is new construction and not easy to get to depending on which way you're driving on Hollywood Way. You might have to do a U-turn. It's past Burbank airport (same side of the street though) heading north on Hollywood Way. There isn't much signage for it on Hollywood Way. I was expecting to see a similar iconic donut like the one near LAX. I got a dozen of assorted donuts. My favorite and tastiest donut of them all was their raised donut filled with raspberry. It wasn't greasy. The raspberry didn't taste too artificial and there was a nice amount of the filling in it. Some of the donuts were simply sugary tasting. The individual flavors didn't come through. Their drip coffee was good and stood up well to their donuts as a nice accompaniment. Staff was friendly. I love their branding on everything. It looks great! The orange and white is bright and cheery. They had some good tunes playin' while customers stood in line to order. The cashier Stephanie was very rude after the payment and on our way out, she said loud enough for us to hear " no tip!" . I bought 4 doughnuts with my child, no handcrafted drink or anything else. Theyjust grabbed donuts and check us out . Yes, she said hello to us like a robot with no smile. Again, I ordered 4 doughnuts. I didn't even bother them by asking questions or else. Yes, getting a tip is always nice, but I didn't know that it is almost like a mandatory here. Thanks for ruining my Friday night, and making my 6 year old hear it. Donuts are pretty good. Nice having a new spot like this in our neighborhood. My kiddos love the specialty donuts. Can get pretty pricey but worth it. I've been here quite a few times since the opening. The only issue I've really had is the staff isn't very friendly. At least the ones I've had encounters with so far. I never feel welcomed at all and I always feel rushed. Customer service doesn't seem to be the strong suit here. To feel this way and then be asked if I want to tip for putting some donuts in a box is pretty amusing. Big fan of the blueberry, old fashion, and good ol' chocolate twists. Nutella was delicious. I've had mixed experiences at Randy's, so I'd give it about a 3.5, but will round up. First, parking is super easy and plentiful. Service was friendly. Donut selection was a bit lacking, as several things were not available when I went to pick up some donuts (it was early afternoon). However, the donuts we did have were pretty good. I really enjoyed the filled donuts with Bavarian cream (one of the best cream fillings I've had in a donut). The next time, more donuts were again not available, but also the Bear Claw was very raw (so of course, would never recommend that). Perhaps it would be a good idea for Randy's to sort of.. cut down the variety to things they'll actually be able to have on a regular basis. For me to have gone twice on a weekday afternoon and for multiple basic things (like a basic chocolate donut or anything with a chocolate glaze) to not be available is sort of weird, so I'm thinking maybe a more streamlined menu might be more efficient. But hey, what do I know. That being said, the donuts were pretty good/standard donuts, and so I'd recommend a donut or two if you're in the mood/in the area. read more

I was disappointed. Yesterday, I ordered a few donuts including the Bear Claw. It was doughy inside, undercooked.

They just lost a big time customer in me. I have purchased dozens at various locations and the new one in Burbank is by me, so I would always stop by there. Today I wanted a couple of donuts warmed up for 15 seconds and he said that they dont do that. I have had it done many times when I only order a couple at a time. He said if you want them warm come it at 6am. Screw that. I have spent over a thousand dollars this past year at various stores and the can screw themselves because they just lost my business and my company's business for good.
