I'm an old school guy and I love my Dyna's and when I need something for them, I can almost be sure that Ramjet will have it or can find it when the dealers won't even try! Plus, it's funny to listen to the guys interacting with each other especially when the older ones start going back and forth with the younger ones! beware: save your time and money, ramjet has without question the very worst customer service in the entire phoenix valley area. made a legitimate purchase of an in stock (no special order) part and 30 minutes later i found out my "real" harley davidson mechanic had already ordered so i went right back in (again 30 minutes later) brand new unopened part with receipt and these people will absolutely not return them, period. did offer a "non transferable" store credit that you're not even allowed to sell or give to someone else to use either. extremely unreasonable, unprofessional, smug young guy stands there with his arms crossed smiling at me the entire time im trying to reason with these people. Ramjet Racing Motorcycle shop sabotaged my engine because I complained about how long they were taking. I very seldom write reviews, which will probably show in this one. I'm retired, and finally took the leap to travel and see some of this country. In a DIY RV pulling my bike in a trailer, I began my travels by going to some famous bike rallies around the country. Yes, I'm trying to live the dream. Travelling through Phoenix working my way to Daytona Bike Week, my Harley blew a head gasket on the front cylinder. Since it has an S&S engine, I searched for shops familiar with these engines and was referred to Ramjet. When they inspected it I was told it was a 10-12 hour job and with their work load at the time, they'd get to it in a couple days. Two weeks later, my bike was still in the showroom untouched. I was disappointed, and complained to the service writer. When they finally began repairs they claimed the cylinders were worn enough to warrant a top end re-fresh, that included boring the jugs and replacing the pistons. Since the engine only had 20,000 miles on it I was quite surprised to hear a top end rebuild was needed, but because it is a high performance engine I agreed to the repairs. After taking 5 weeks to complete the repair and a day to properly break-in the new top end, I had only a few days left to get to Daytona. Hauling the bike in a trailer, the next time I started the bike was in Tallahassee. It immediately made some very loud noises, and I had to find another shop. "The Shop, Parts and Things" in Tallahassee had it on a lift immediately. The diagnosis was a stuck lifter and when the lifter was removed, we found an incredible amount of large metal chips. Normally when any engine is breaking in, tiny flecks of metal will be floating in the oil. But not large metal chips like we found. The engine needed to be torn down to clean out the shavings, which had already destroyed my cams and oil pump. That's when we learned that much of the old burnt head gasket had NOT been removed when the head was replaced, guaranteeing its' failure in the very near future. When I asked the manager/owner Tony Rei about our findings, sending pictures and depositions from the certified mechanics that performed the repairs, he said "It's after the fact" and he was not accepting any responsibility for the metal chips, damage to the engine or the poor workmanship. In fact he claimed that I must have put the big metal chips in my own perfectly running 20,000 mile engine, to hurt his business and burn him for a new engine!!! The leftover burnt head gasket was something I made up! The chips did their damage....causing the cams, lifters and oil pump to be replaced and scored cylinders to need re-machining, all at an out-of-pocket cost to me of over $6,000.00, another several thousand in other costs, two months of my retirement and missing an event on the other side of the country that I'd been dreaming for many years of attending. I'm on a fixed income with very little assets, just trying to see some of America before I can't travel. read more

Don't believe everything you read about a fully stocked parts dept. used to deal with the original crew and it's was nice. Things were in stock. Counters were full of parts. Most of the guys were somewhat knowledgeable. Then the operation moved to the new building and went down hull so fast it isn't funny. Simple parts for evolution motors are not stocked. The parts on display for the twin cam engines are not stocked. Went in there to buy an S&S motor amd a Baker trans for my build and was blown off by some young kids at the counter who would rather answer phones than actually wait on a customer. Fast forward to today and I got the same treatment when trying to inquire about the most common carburetor ever made. An S&S super e.. Got ignored for a phone call while two other lackies were gabbing like a pair of old hens, ignoring a 700-1000.00 sale cause I needed other things.. goodbye guys. Amazon is my new friend and shipping local has got me nowhere. Might go back if the dad takes it over again. There was a guy who could run a business!! read more

I've been here 4 times and have never had a good experience. Customer service is bad at best and they won't know what you'll need if your asking for help. They've given me the wrong parts on multiple occasions. On one occasion advised I buy parts that ended up being the wrong parts and wouldn't let me return. Instead they gave me a store credit but wouldn't give my money back. On another occasion they gave me "everything I needed", I drove all the way home and then had to go back because they were wrong. I will say they do have a variety of parts available and the only reason I'd ever come here again is if I knew exactly what I needed and didn't want to wait for shipping times. Waiting on customer service might take just as long as shipping though. One of the few motorcycle shops in AZ that has good inventory so 1 star is deserved. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. We went to this company to have braided steel cables ordered. We told them EXACTLY what we needed and they argued with us about it. We told them to order what we asked for and we paid. When we got the cables and got home they were not the correct length and one was damaged. We went back the next day and they refused to take them back and even accused us of damaging the cable we had literally just gotten from them. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE for an EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE PRODUCT! Don't use them unless you want to get screwed over. read more

Great help from Jerry, I was having a problem with a custom rear master cylinder and the plunger. After several attempts to find a replacement with no success. Jerry suggested his counter Ramjet car shop and thought they could help. He was absolutely correct. I explained the situation and the part I was looking for. After review, they welcomed the challenge and suggested one of the guys in their car shop. That gentleman had the correct tools to help with the existing part and made it functional again. I've used Ramjet for years, known him and T-bone for a long time just don't see them as often anymore , they are into motorcycles , cars , having a good time and staying close with friends and family , the Club remark on the last review has nothing to do with the shop nor does it have anything to do with what people know or who they know in a wide spectrum of motorcycle riders!!!! All I have to say is if you need a part they have it if you need it fixed they can do it!!!!!!!!!!!! Started off Ordering a Trac Dynamics Swingarm for my Dyna and it was a mediocre experience. I got it quicker then ordering it directly but was given the run around on the shipping for it. Ended up getting it and continuing my business with this shop. Trac Dynamics Billet Arm requires longer shock bolts, i ordered these and was told i'd have them within a week. Waited a month, multiple calls asking where they were, finally had to ask the owner if I just needed to go elsewhere because it shouldn't take over a month for two bolts, and 3 weeks into it one of the counter people told me they weren't even ordered. Not the first time customer service has been terrible, multiple miscommunications over stuff, probably 5+ times i've called inquiring about parts ready to spend thousands and being ghosted. Waited for a month for any sort of reply regarding custom inverted triples for my bike, again had to contact the owner and then got ghosted again. I've been happy'ish with my in person experience and most of the guys are pretty knowledgable but the customer service is terrible and almost seems like the shop doesn't want to sell to me? I wanted to love this shop. I am a female motorcycle rider and it is important for me to find a place where I don't feel patronized or like I am getting royally screwed over. First, this place is a great place to get parts. I would highly recommend them for that and this is why they get 3 versus 2 stars. I had my bike towed there to get fixed due to a motor vehicle accident. So while I had to pay a deductible, insurance was covering this and they would agree or not to the repairs that needed to be done so no chance to gouge (not suggesting that they would because I never went to them previously). I had to wait for parts to come from Harley and it was explained to me that this would take some time. Understood. This part is out of their hands. But there was something else I wanted checked and they would kind of talk around it until finally one day I asked the manager to explain why this wasn't being addressed. He went on to explain (in a weird confusing way) that basically, if we take your bike apart to check what that sound is, you will have to pay for that each time we have to take components apart. I asked if like with others places the labor would be applied to the actual fixing of whatever is wrong and basically he said that it was an additional charge. So if they suck and can't figure out what it is quickly, I have to pay for that ineptitude? Don't think so. (Note: that's not me stating that they suck but I don't know how good or bad their mechanics are). Next and this is what soured me on the whole experience, once all repairs were supposedly done, I found 3 areas that they did not check and should have since the bike was in an accident: steering lock (which he agreed was overlooked), front fender was clearly bent (your guys didn't see this when replacing my front tire that you made sure to call me about and upsell/suggest and was NOT included in the high deductible I had to shell out?), My mirror wouldn't stay straight (this he told me I would have to call my insurance MYSELF and ask if it should be repaired despite the fact that I told him it was not broken before the accident). So I took it to Buddy Stubbs up the road. I will provide that review on their page but it was a much different, more positive experience. Pros: * Respectful, not condescending * Great place to buy parts * Reasonable rates Cons: * Needs to be more customer-service oriented * Fix it right the first time and be more thorough * An apology when service is lacking goes a really long way read more

So its getting late on a Saturday and I'm elbow deep into working on my hot rod, and needed some unique parts for the brake system. I live in Cave Creek, and no real hot rod shops up there for parts anyway. So I drive 30 minutes down to Ramjet Racing. I'm 10 minutes late for the hot rod shop.. they are closed.. bummer! But wait! The guys in the motorcycle shop are still there, and not only did welcome my being there, but one of the guys went over and reopened the hot rod shop and I was able to buy my parts! I recently bought a saddle bag handle from Ram Jet Racing. I was told that if the part did not fit, and I did not attempt to assemble the handle, I could return the part. The part ordered by Ram Jet Racing did not fit my saddle bag. Upon trying to return the handle I was told I couldn't return it because it was a Harley part, but that I could sell it in their swap meet. This was so insulting to me! If buying Harley parts, do not buy from Ram Jet. If seeking quality customer services, this is not the place! Before even buying the part I attempted to get the parts manager to come outside to look at my dilemma. Instead I was told it was to cold for the man to go outside to look. I purchased 2 invis-vin covers for 2 bikes one was too long other I didn't care for the fit as it was 1/8" from a rubber mounted motor exhaust . I called they said no problem send them back . Then I get an email do not send them back there used parts and unreturnable . That's just ridiculous . These parts are flawlessly new . Never Again with this company . Just went over there to have my handlebars on my old Street Glide tightened up , Was told its gonna be $35 bucks an hour and it be probably an hour to get it done, 1.5 hours later i was charged $80 bucks including tax and a battety check, When it was done i checked my bars and they still were loose , i brought it to the service guys attention and i was told those bars are tight , i demonstrated it to him that they are still moving back and force and its a safety hazzard , the service manager even came out and he was like he didnt really care , i was told i have to many miles on my bike and maybee the bars or the brackets are bad and its a known issue and you need different brackets and blablaba , and you dont even offer a refund or somekinda discount really you cant even make the handlebars tight, what a freaking joke !!! read more
