The first time we took our bike there the owner was so nice. Today, however, they were just supposed to change a tire, and it didn't get done. As the bike is what's used to get to and from work, this could cost us money. The workers were not only inefficient, they were actually quite mean and insulted our Harley. He said he wouldn't work on it because it's dirty!!! That's how my old man gets to work and back. So sorry it didn't pass his inspection. Dropped my bike off with a tire and tube and a set of rear brakes to be placed on my bike. Called and the receiver indicated that all I had to do was bring it in any time and we can squeeze it in. Brought it in on a Tuesday at noon and said it would be done that day (No Call). On Wednesday at noon I called and the answer was it was done but the owner needed to create the billing. Came to the shop at 4:30PM and the bike was sitting outside but the mechanic said the billing was still not done and I would have to wait as the owner left 24 hours ago and can not be reached. I called the police and by the time the police showed up the owner mysteriously showed up. Needless to say I got the bike but the police had to calm the owner down. They may do good work on occasion but they are totally unorganized and that situation just leads to an issue and do you want that on your bike while riding up the mountain? Just stay away is your best bet. read more

The mechanic in the shop Dirk is rude. And apparently does shoddy work as I had went back and asked for the belt tension to be Chuck he grabbed it belt said it was just fine and told me I did not spend enough money at the shop which I had spent 700 dollars. I had the belt checked by another shop and it was incorrect. He had it too loose. Prior to that he tightened to my original belt so tight that it's snapped in half read more

Bought two new Dunlop American Elite tires online for our Road Glide and showed up at KD for mounting and balancing without an appointment. Adam had a full schedule but took it in and ended up working til 8:00PM to finish our bike. Insisted on extra time to make sure it was right. Did a great job. Extremely satisfied. I have very recently moved to Surprise and needed to know where best to take my motorcycle for a tire installation. I checked reviews for KD and they seemed good , then I met a man that that rides and has lived here many years. I asked him where he would take his bike , he said KD cycle so that sealed it. I took the bike in ( no appt) for a front tire replacement in the am and Dirk said it would be done by days end. In the afternoon I got a call saying the tire install was done and they found the license plate light was out and that the hand brake was not activating the brake light. I approved the further work to find wiring inside the handle bars had a problem. Adam suggested running a wire from the brake light switch directly to the harness bypassing the need to remove the headlight bucket and removing wiring from the bars saving hours of labor. On one conversation I made a quick mention of a turn signal that was loose and found that it was fixed when I went to pick it up ( exceeding my expectation ). I will return for future work and now will reccommend them. read more

Yet another issue after taking my bike to KD Cycles in Surprise AZ. I have had multiple issues with this company all within a year. I am chalking up my losses and walking away. Will never go back again! I took it in because of an engine leak to begin with. They pulled the engine, cleaned it and put her back together. When I got it back I rode her home. Noticed that my breather was missing. I thought it may have fallen off. I went back asking if they had put it on or forgot to. The mechanic stated he did then when he checked his work station, low and behold there it was. Week later I pulled the carb cover and notice he had cracked the plastic piece in the carb by over tightening as well as the thin metal on the air filter plate for same reason. I had also noticed that I now have an exhaust leak from them putting the exhaust back on. The weld split. They had put on the paper work, which i did not see at the time, but failed to tell me in person face to face. I also noticed leaking coming from lifter covers. I took it back in and he cleaned that up. All he did to fix the crack plastic piece in the carb was remove it and said it'll be fine that way. Did nothing about the air filter cover or my exhaust. I purchased and installed new Thunder Headers which added power and great sound. 6 months later after my last visit, the whole bottom half of the engine started pouring. I took it back in and they fixed their issue but for a price. I got her back and the very next day on my way home from work, my carb flipped upside down!!! I pulled off the highway, called the owner of KD Cycles and he did come pick her up and fixed the issue. Got her back a couple days later. Saw that my horn was welded on (as you can see from this video, the weld broke...hence the horn rattle) and now notice a whole bunch of pot marks on my primary cover. I confront this issue over the phone for the owner was not there when I picked it up. He claims it was possibly from my passengers jean pants flapping and hitting it. Not possible. Then he claims that he had my bike detailed and it was there before and that my bike was so dirty and a piece of shit that I didn't recognize it. I had a whole bunch of texts from him downing my bike but had to factory reset my phone shortly after that cleared everything off of my phone. I wanted to posts those to show what type of mechanic shop owner he is. He denies breaking the horn and denies damaging my primary cover. I saw him at Arrowhead Harley one day and showed him the issues where he again downed my bike because it is 20+ years old. I get nothing but compliments about my bike from everyone else. He is nothing but excuses. I do want to mention that after confronting him he started to try and act tough. I told him that I am going to send out reviews of my experience with his company and he advised me not to and said " you are messing with the wrong Mother Fucker, You don't want to mess with me" a few times. Since the last visit, I also want to mention that I have been telling everyone that my bike seems to have lost power and it does not sound as good, clean or loud anymore. I thought maybe my experience with this company made me think I was hearing things. Come to find out, this intake leak is the reason why. My opinion from ALL my experiences with this so called company...DON'T GO TO KD CYCLES!!! EVER!!! and to please spread the word. read more

I'm very happy that I found KD cycles! I dropped off my bike for a new front tire, and Adam still checked out the whole bike to make sure that I was safe on the road: from the chain to the brakes and making sure the bolts were torqued. He even tightened my shift lever which I didn't realize was that loose. I'll continue bringing my bikes here for years to come! read more

Took my quad there for service and had them put on new tires. Adam did a great job on my quad for a good price. I will definitely go back. Finally a shop in surprise that works on quads and bikes instead of ridenow who steals your wallet. read more
