Juan is an honest, good mechanic. That is hard to find. I will return.

Juan gave me a free estimate, explained everything to me, fixed everything we spoke about and more.

My blue Suzuki SV650 was dropped off/left with this shop on Jan 27, 2026 for a fuel pump…read morereplacement (I provided a Quantum fuel pump kit). I was told they were very busy, but the job itself was estimated at 2-5 hours once they got to it. After dropping it off, I followed up weekly for updates. Repeatedly, I was told I would get a call back "in the afternoon," but I did not receive callbacks. The shop later claimed they had been calling me; however, the only phone call we agree occurred was on Feb 17, 2026. On Feb 10, I visited in person and found my SV650 parked outside at the front where bikes are lined up out front. Staff initially pulled paperwork for the wrong motorcycle and struggled to locate my file. I was again told I'd get a call back that afternoon. The shop also posted photos on their page that week showing a lineup of bikes out front -- including my blue SV650, identifiable by the blue sweat band wrapped over the front brake reservoir, in the front lineup on the day in question. On Feb 18, after I left a review due to the lack of updates/communication, the shop contacted me and stated they were refusing to perform the work because of the review and asked me to pick up the bike. I'm retrieving the bike without the repair completed. One caution for other customers: read the estimate/authorization language closely and make sure you understand what you're signing (especially fee/lien-related wording). Ask for any timelines, fees, and promises to be clarified in writing before leaving your vehicle. My main issue isn't that shops get busy -- it's the lack of communication after repeated promises and the bike being stored out front without clear updates. Rony -- for accuracy: I contacted your shop repeatedly for updates. The only agreed outbound call from your side was on Feb 17, 2026, and the only voicemail I received with a clear update was advising me to pick up my motorcycle because the shop would not complete the work. All other follow-ups were initiated by me (phone calls and in-person visits), and I was repeatedly told I would receive a call back "in the afternoon," which did not happen. I also have recorded in-person conversations (Feb 18, 2026) where staff states the shop is refusing to perform the fuel pump service due to the review I left. As for leaving the bikes outside where they are easily accessible by the public. This is an issue because look at the three new photos I uploaded from right after I received my bike from you. I know it is a small issue but either your shop messed up my right hand sleeve. That photo was taken while the bike was in the trailer as soon as you handed it to me outside of your shop. So either your mechanics broke it or someone in the public did and who is taking responsibility for it? I'm happy to update this review if you provide a written invoice/work order showing what work was performed and when, because I have already retrieved the motorcycle, brought it to a shop that was able to swap my fuel pump, diagnose my actual issue, and replace my R/R for $150. Much cheaper than Rony's $115 an hour with 5 Hour Estimate.

horrible service and communication. my Experience is the same as these reviews …read more They appear to be a great tire shop . Other than that . Took my Harley there. Had more issues when I went to pick it up . Poor craftsmanship.

If you are looking for someone to work on your Vespa, DO NOT go here. They clearly aren't…read moreexperienced in working on them. Here is the recap of my experience. I brought my 72 Vespa into have a new petcock installed. I was told it would take 2-2.5 hours of labor to install and would have it back in a couple of days. After a week goes by and hearing nothing from them I called to find out if it was ready and was told that my tank had a gas leak and they were going to try putting some JB weld on it to fix the problem. I told them that would be fine. 4-5 more days go by and Sun Valley calls again, this time I was told that the tank was still leaking and that it needed to be replaced. The original tank went to Sun Valley with a bladder. With a bladder any gas leak, even one the size of a bullet hole, could be remedied by simply replacing the inexpensive bladder, but I foolishly trusted them and said "Ok go ahead and replace it but save my original tank so I can see it when I pick up the scooter". They said that wouldn't be a problem. Another few days goes by and I am told the new one they ordered didn't fit and they had to order another one. A couple more days goes by and I was told the 2nd one didn't fit either and that they were now going to reach out to someone in town and get one from them. Now 3 weeks in to this debacle and the newest tank on I'm told that there is no longer a leak, but now the scooter won't run more than 5 mins. What comes next is even more ridiculous, they tell me "at this point we have a lot of hours in to the scooter, you should probably just come get it" Are you kidding me? Not that at this point I wasn't ready to take it somewhere else anyways, it's mind boggling how poor their customer service is. So I go to pick up the scooter and my old tank. When I get there I'm told that they no longer have the old tank, that they had to give it to the person they bought the new tank from. Along with the scooter he gives me a couple of gaskets he tells me he couldn't get on the scooter. Lol yup that's right, just wait it gets even better... So I go down the road to 2nd Ave Scooters and tell him what's been going on and that I need him to look at my scooter. He looks at the scooter and says, "Hold on a second" and comes out with my original tank and says this wouldn't be yours would it? Lol of course it is. If this wasn't enough he looks over the scooter and shows me where they installed the petcock upside down and had ghetto rigged the fuel line by piecing together 3 separate hoses!!! He had the scooter apart in under and hour, put the petcock in the right position and returned all the "we don't know where these go" gaskets in THE CORRECT PLACE. Aligned the fuel tank, sight glass and oil bag properly. 2nd Ave Scooters also replaced the fuel line with one solid rubber line. I can't say this enough DON'T TRUST THESE PEOPLE TO WORK ON YOUR SCOOOTER!!! Save your self some time and money and just go directly to 2nd Ave Scooters.

This is the kind of shop I look for. Hole in the wall with a passionate owner and skilled…read moreemployees. My friend bought a cool Scooter and I was along for the ride.
