We came in looking for some oil for our razor and some filters after driving all over town with no luck. We not only had the best service here (instant acknowledgment and greetings) and offered to help us find what we needed. While they didn't have the exact match we were looking for they did have a very close match. They took the time to look up filters in their system when it wasn't on the floor. The store was very clean and organized as well. Great stop. I'm bummed the location in Surprise closed as it was a bit closer. Prices are much better here compared to Ride Now etc and service again so much better and efficient. read more

My husband and I are continually impressed with the customer service, the knowledge and best interactions with the staff here, specifically Rob and Sam. Rob is nothing short of an expert in all aspects and this is why we continue to come here! We recently came here for a youth helmet and Rob not only gave us the best suggestions but explained the safety of buying a certain helmet style for a little one. Today we came in for new helmets and a few other items, Rob went above and beyond to explain the benefits of the RPM program and we absolutely had to get it! Rob also bent over backwards with an old store credit order from a store that closed and helped us with that for quite a while and was still the nicest and most professional and informational. The store is also incredibly clean, well organized and always seems to be stocked up! Rob helped me out with helmet fitting since I'm more of a shmedium and in between sizes but Rob's knowledge and professional opinions made me feel safe in the decision I made to get the size I did. He took time to make sure I was getting something that would be safe on the road and no other store I know has the amount of friendly professionals who are an expert in this craft. Thank you guys! I explained that their website said they were out of stock for the item I needed but since I was leaving the next day on a multi state trip I was hoping that they might actually have what I needed it stock but not on inventory list. The best Cycle Gear location I've ever been to is in Mesa, because it's just so HUGE. But this is a great one also. There is quite a bit of stock, it's just a bit more crowded as the store is smaller. As far as price and quality, it's typical Cycle Gear, so you get a wide variety from expensive to cheap, from great to generic. You choose. The help here is awesome. It is so hard to find good quality information in gear that will keep you safe! Jon helped me pick out the perfect coat and boots for riding that matched my bike. I never felt like I was being sold, just helped! Cody was the helmet expert job introduced me to. He helped me try multiple helmets and made the experience fun. When the fit was 95% perfect he could have talked me into a really high end helmet but he took the extra steps to order ina model not in stock to try and man it was so much better. Donald helped me on the return trip and was super customer service oriented. He helped me get the perfect fit between the two options Cody ordered and helped me get the perfect visor. These guys (and of course, the ladies) are just the best! I had a hard time with a helmet I bought and they jumped right in to help me find a better fit. Half gloves ripped at the wrist Velcro, no problem... Needed a riding suit, jacket and pants for a ride the next day. Just had my first visit to this store in Peoria (90 miles from my house) and what great people. Jeremy and Lupe got me out of a bind with a failed Sena headset. I was starting a 10 day MC trip in 36 hours and my brand new SRL2 Sena unit failed. They had a replacement unit and even installed it for me. Jeremy was awesome to work with, taught me a few tricks and his meticulous installation surpassed my OCD standards. I stopped in looking for a warmer pair of gloves than I had. The pair I got turned out in use to be not warmer than what I had. But they are the only waterproof pair I have so I will keep them. Stopped by Cycle Gear this morning to look for a pair of gloves. Caleb greeted me as I walked in and walked me around the store helping me find what I was looking for. He asked the application of the gloves and didnt try to upsale me into something I didnt need or something I didnt want. I ended up picking a pair of very plain leather gloves that will block out the wind. He was by far one of the better and more knowledgable salesmen I've come across in the past few years. Friendly staff and the usual stuff bike shops sell. These guys throw a bike night the 2nd Wednesday of every month and has free food and music. Will deff coming back here again if not for gear at least for bike nights to meet other riders. read more
