However, I went to the bar to buy a drink after dinner and she took issue with the $20 I handed her for payment. It was an older $20 from before they changed the design. She held it up to the light and was looking for the strip and said that because it didn't have the strip that she couldn't accept it. I looked at the bill and saw that it was a 1988 bill. I told her this and she said it should still have the strip in it. I didn't want to argue so I happily paid using a different $20, but my curiosity got the better of me later that evening and I looked it up and she was incorrect. They did not start adding the strips until 1992. I could understand if it was some youngster that might only be familiar with the newer bill design, but she was not young. I also would have accepted her stance if she said it was hotel policy to only accept bills that have the strip. The way the interaction took place left me feeling accused of trying to pass a counterfeit bill. A little more tact would have gone a long way here. I feel like a hotel manager would be more in tune with customer service. Funny enough, I went back to the bar the next night and paid with the $20 in question. The bartender on duty that night accepted it without batting an eyelash. Food was just okay. Our group tried a variety of menu items: Ribs, wings, carbonara, salmon, pretzel appetizer, hummus, and maybe a couple other things. Ribs were probably the best thing, but nothing really stood out.

Absolute 5 experience today at BJ's. Service was right on point…read more We started out with the sampler appetizer. The dill pickle wing were HUGE! They were cooked perfectly and the dill flavor was just perfect, not over powering at all. The spinach artichoke dip was rich and creamy. The cheese pull on the mozzarella sticks, outstanding. The sliders had very good quality beef. Great value for the price! My main dish was the beef sandwich which was loaded with flavorful juicy beef and provolone. The fries were crispy. The coleslaw was bland and could have used more acid. The fettuccine Alfredo needed more sauce but they brought a side of it right out. It had broccoli and blackened chicken. A savory garlic knot on the side of the plate, yum. To top everything off my friend had a free pozzokie which is a baked cookie with ice cream and this Oreo cream stuff, omg! Sooo goooood! I would definitely go again.

Our waiter, John, acted like he did not want to be there. It took for ever to order and longer still to get our food. My wife asked for limes for her water three times before he brought lemons. I order the tri-tip and chicken. Asked for BBQ on the side not on the meat. Yet, it had BBQ sauce on it anyway. I also asked for a side salad before my meal. I never got it. The salad ended up on our bill and when I asked for it to be removed he acted like it was an inconvenience and didn't apologize or anything. I tip him 20% out of kindness but he deserved zero!!! I will think twice before returning.

The parking lot is crowded, which my uncle was like " I hope there's no waiting ". However, I noticed all the people going into this end shop serving coffee & tea, so I was still calm. Don't give up just cause the parking lot is full. We went in & I believe it only had 12 tables, & only 6 were in use. We sat down & was greeted by our server; who told my uncle, she would float him out of there in response to his drink order of black coffee & keep 'em' coming. The menu is about 4 pages of breakfast finest to choose from & a page of good looking lunch. Breakfast is obliviously the spotlight. My uncle ordered the Texas omelette, I ordered the buffalo chicken salad & sweet tea, & we got my hubby the spicy poblano omelette w/pancake to go for his brunch. My salad was good. I can't say it was great but good. The dressing was delicious, but the salad was just a salad nothing to write home about. The chicken had a mild kick but nothing spicy. It was tender & a great protein for the salad. The sweet tea was just ok also. As for the omelettes I did not try or taste, if you follow me I don't like eggs. But both my uncle & my husband said the would definitely go back. My uncle said his was great specimen. My husband didn't have to say anything, I've never quite seen him eat anything so fast as he ate that! Even though it was small, she is mighty. Don't let the not a lot of people fool you they have carry out & a drive thru & those were both busy the entire time we were there. Go try it yourself, review, agree or disagree. Happy reviewing !!

I ordered: 2 burgers with fries, chicken fried steak w/ mashed potatoes and pea salad, a chicken tender basket with fries, and an order of onion rings. This ran me $75 ordering pickup from DoorDash ... Walking into the restaurant there wasn't anyone at the host stand to direct me to where I needed to go to pickup. But there's a sign for to go orders so I headed that way. None of the staff look you in the eye in hopes of avoiding helping you. And when the girl finally finished organizing her money she addressed me then handed me my order. That interaction alone would keep me from ever going back. The food- the burgers were enjoyed, the fries are a mound of floppy & oily potato strings. The chicken tenders were basic, and again floppy oily fries. The chicken fried steak was mostly salty thick breading with a small thick and hard to chew steak...but the mashed potatoes and gravy and pea salad were good. The onion rings are huge but again, floppy and oily. I'd say I'd give them another try but I don't want to waste my money on overpriced takeout!

I had the tomato soup which was very good could be a little creamier but the flavor was on point! Would have been perfect with their grilled cheese. Instead I had the chopped wedge salad sorry for the half eaten salad picture but I forgot to take before I started eating when. I like the addition of the pickled red onions. Then had an order of the cheese curds that came with three sauces. Marina, ranch and a spicy aioli sauce I think. Again was very tasty. Also the portions are big here.
