Waited an hour long to get our order, waitress had to come back and explain to us that they ran out of rice so there's no beef bowl. They also ran out of spicy pork chasu ramen. Ordered two takoyakis but the first takoyaki came after an hour and a half long, freezing cold and no bonito flakes or anything on it. The second order of takoyaki we had to cancel because it is taking much longer. The male server called me a "sir" but kept a friendly smiley face. Their ramen is mediocre. I guess because this is in Ogden, Utah, people think their ramen is great but it's not. There's not much Asian cuisine in these areas so i guess public settled for whatever is out there. For travelers like us who were visiting for Christmas break, find another Asian restaurant, because you may be disappointed and hungry, you'll end up very very upset. read more

Besides that all add one for the ramen is pretty expensive for what they are, this place is pretty legit. I like ramen and this and another place are as close as I've seen to traditional ramen. I like that the ingredients switch by season. From mushrooms to corn and I've never had an issue with anything they serve that I've tried. They have three different type of picketed things I tried and they were different but good. The root fries were well root fries and worth trying but not for me. I will totally be back read more

We usually have a good experience here but tonight we walked out. When we arrived (on a Saturday evening) there was only 3 other tables so we were promptly sat and completely forgotten about! For about 10-15 minutes we watched the other 3 tables finish their food while the waitresses gather in the back corner. We heard another table firmly ask for their bill (seems like they were waiting forever too) we patiently waited for the waitress to take care of their bill hoping she would come to us right after but NOPE, she went right to the back corner with the other 2 waitresses. I truly believe ramen is one of those foods that you go to 1x every 2-3 months. It's a niche thing that you really look forward to enjoying. So here's the caveat about this place. It's a good place, but let me go further as to the 3 stars (3.5 if I could). For a ramen place in terms of the variety of foods and additions in the ramen soup itself: excellent. A ton of variety of flavors that really compliment the ramen itself. Here's everything else: the place was 2 hours until closing and it was busy but there were definitely tables open. The food itself took quite a while to get to us (2 of us). Roughly about 25-30 minutes. A lot longer than say a place with 6 families waiting in the lobby. In addition, although the ramen was very tasty, it was almost cold. Warm but on the cold side. It was weird as I expected it to be hot. Maybe that's how ramen is supposed to be served? Not sure. That's my experience. I would come back here, but if my EXPERIENCE is similar: cold ramen and long waiting for food, I'd go elsewhere. read more

Asked about specials there aren't any - but the popular ramen bowl was ordered - tasted like vegetable broth with some stuck together ramen noodles, half an egg pre-cooked and not cooked right, with dry rubbery meats and canned corn. $15? You're nuts. The vegetable ramen was only carrots spinach and canned corn. This is not ramen bowls.. .Also they serve cold sake in a warm sake container - it should always be served in a glass. Legitimate ramen Had the spicy pork which was in a real tonkatsu broth Most everything was very good. Ordered an extra egg, but one of the eggs was hard cooked which was unfortunate. Kimchi was also very real with that mouth tingling you get with the real stuff. As I ordered it on the side, it did not come in my ramen which was great. Meat portion should have been bigger, but it was very tasty. It sure how authentic the noodles were. Broth was absolutely amazing with the smooth but rich taste that lets you know someone in the house knows what they are doing. Gyoza dumplings were also very tasty. We were greeted at the door with a smile. Customer service was exceptional. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. I had the Umami Bomb Ramen. It was delicious to the taste. Service was so slow! I feel bad for the workers as it seems to be a management issue. I have been here three times now and unfortunately the food is not good. My first time in Utah. I came here to visit a high school friend, who have just move to Ogden back in October 2021. We went to Ramen Haus after snowboarding and it was amazingly good! Our server Vee was very helpful and had great customer service. She made us laugh too. I highly recommend her if you want great service! I am vegetarian so I order the veggie ramen and it was bomb! They have different selection of hot sauce which I love and we order two bottles of sake so we definitely had a fun time. I give this place 5 stars because there customer service and delicious ramen! Pretty good overall, we had a very comforting and hearty meal - pork buns, fried gyozas, chicken karaage, takoyaki and a beef brisket ramen. Loved snacking on the pickled veg and a side of kimchi (sooo good!) Gyozas and kaarage were great! Pork buns could have had a thicker slice of pork belly and less kimchi. The takoyaki was good, the flavors were very powerful with the bonito flakes, which is obviously positive! I have to say, ramen was just okay, def comforting after skiing, but the brisket was fairly dry and a little bit hard. Kinda bummed they didn't have a seafood or shrimp option, but understand they're going for more of a traditional approach. Service was attentive. I really hate to rate an establishment harshly, I promise I'm not that kind of person - but the food was simply terrible! Where do I begin? The sparkling "Asian pear soda" tasted more like a ginger ale with pieces of obviously canned pears and COPIOUS amounts of grainy honey. An unpleasant drink. The appetizers were OKAY. I would not recommend the takoyaki to anyone new to this kind of food. It was very fishy tasting, and the clash of flavors was too overwhelming. Taro fries were fine. Meat bun was small. As for the ramen? I cannot describe the disappointment. Incredibly salty. So salty that I had to dilute with water from my own water cup to make it edible. The eggs were twice as salty as that! The noodles were a bit hard for my taste, and there many noodles that were fused together from being cooked too quickly. The broth itself tasted about the same as TOP RAMEN. The small portion of meat was overcooked. I didn't see any Asian people working (I always love to see the culture represented where cultural food is being served.) There was a group of Asian customers that wandered in while we were eating, and they left quick with a lot of food left in their bowls. Maybe that says something too? I have been coming here since they opened...that said, we went to dinner last night and let me tell you I was severely disappointed! First, it was FREEZING in the restaurant!! Even the servers were wearing coats and freaking earmuffs!! Every patron kept their coats on and every table was ordering hot tea because it was so cold.
