Worst experience ever. Got food for my husband and I to go. Got all the home and when getting everything out of the bag noticed my wings were missing. Cheap fast food! It is nice to have one close to the house, because it's a different option from the usual Mcdee's, Jack in the Box, or Taco Bell. Got the Chili Cheese Fries, sadly they didn't put enough cheese. I also tried out the Chili Dog, which was good & with some cheese, it would of been better! I tried the funnel cake fries, very chewy! You definitely need to eat this while it's hot or it won't taste good. Overall, the price of this joint is definitely affordable. I also witnessed an employee, I believe his name was Randee (Couldn't read his badge from a far, but something with dee at the end.) who bought a meal for a homeless. I've been loving Rally's food since I move to San Diego, but in recent months they have really gone down hill & tonight the staff on Jamacha Road really screwed up. I bought Apple Pies & one of the pies they gave me clearly had a bite taken out of it & looked days old. Then when I brought it back they tried to basically say that I did it & wanted a replacement (which doesn't make sense) & before I came in I spoke with the manager that offered me a second one along with my replacement. They basically think I made up this story to have to drive back down to them & have them replace a 99¢ Apple pie? They really need to fire all the staff at that location & hire new people. Funny conversations of people standing in line for food and at the tables. The burgers and fries were good. They have two drive up windows. Both windows seemed to be busy. If learned something new while I was at this Rally's! If you walk up and order food they accept EBT cards! They advertise this fact. When I told my co-workers that I had seen this sign and thought the EBT was for groceries not fast food she told me that other places do the same. I had no idea Rally Burger still existed. Growing up in Sacramento we only had one Rally (on the corner of Manzanita and Madison). The burgers and wonderful, seasoned skin-on french fries are truly a slice of my childhood. The Rally is Sacramento has been closed now for over a decade, and I had no idea it was a chain. I assumed Rally was dead and gone - that is until my sister moved to Spring Valley and took me by the drive-thru on the way to her house from the airport. Good food but I mainly come here for the awesome fries. I like to order the $.99 spicy chicken sandwich, cheap and good. Sometimes I add the Fully Loaded Fries, melted cheese poured on top of their delicious fries with ranch and bacon, artery clogging good. Be prepared, all there food is really greasy. But its worth it once in awhile. Also there is only outside seating and for some reason its always windy. This was the spot to grab a bite late night and show off your ride. I just wish there were more in San Diego because, well, some people north of the 8 would like a taste of Rallys as well.
