Unfortunately, New Year's Day was a bit of a rush with about what looked like three staff (cook, cashier and supervisor assisting the cook after his break) on shift. Kayla appeared to be responsible for the extremely long drive thru and the dining area. You could tell she was overwhelmed with trying to balance by herself; however, despite the lack of support she maintained poise and professionalism. We were patiently waiting but more than 10 minutes later we were still not offered service. I just left the drive thru ( Tuesday, May 7th 8:30pm) ordered and paid for my food. Asked for ranch (after being asked if I wanted any ketchup) and Paul rolled his eyes at means slammed his hand to his leg. This was our go to place for breakfast burritos. My daughter loves the bacon egg and cheese burrito. We all know how picky kids can be and when you find something they love you get it. It's also very convenient because we live right around the corner. I would say we visit this restaurant about 3x a week just for that item. Making going to school a breeze. I'm very disappointed in the service today. I sent my husband to order or usually and I guess there was an miscommunication. When he arrived home it was breakfast biscuits. So I call the store to kindly ask them to replace the biscuits with breakfast burritos. The manager that answered the phone told me I was not telling the truth and gave me attitude. He said he was listing to the order and my husband said biscuits. I explained that it doesn't matter and I would like my order replaced. He then raised his voice and continued to disagree with me. Our only problem was we could not get the app working to redeem any of our points, we went in to finally resolve this issue. I came here to try their new Southwest Patty Melt. I would not say this is a true patty melt, but more Carl's version. Inside of this location is in need of a face lift. Many of the seats are in need of repair. The tables had grim stains on them. A little TLC would go a long way. I noticed a lot more people going through the drive through, rather than eating inside. Also, I noticed fries on the floor and in the corner of benches. That is an invitation for critters you do not want to see. Ok, it's Carl's Jr. and my meal was good, hot and as I ordered. No issues or complaints with the quality of food on my famous star with cheese minus tomatoes. The fries had just the right amount salt and were good. The entire restaurant was clean and tidy. I thought I did a review here over a year ago but guess it never went through. So with that said it's been remodeled for some time now. Love how they represent the Spring Valley area with murals on the wall. What a way to display community pride and ownership!!! You go Carl's!!!!! The staffs were super friendly. I had the pleasure to witness a teaching moment between an adult male staff member with he star Tattoo on his elbow-and a teenage boy who mentioned he also works here but was off today. The teen boy came in with his friends and asked the staff for advice what to do regarding a situation at home with the father. The adult staff encouraged the teen to be honest and that's always the best policy and have that difficult conversation with the father. They went on and on about honesty and integrity. What a AWESOME moment to witness a youth being encouraged to do the right thing and for the staff to motivate this youth. In the end, the teen agreed to discus his situation with his father. It's just nice to know that there are employees with integrity, values and morals that they would teach to another persons child. That interaction was so genuine and the staff really cared about the youth. For that moment, there's no amount of starts that would suffice what the employee did, but a job well done. On the way out I had to let him know how impressed I was with that interaction as I sat quietly and enjoyed my meal. Update... the staffs name is JUAN!!!! If I could give this place no stars I would. Constantly messing up orders, food is always given to you cold. The transgender guy at the window seemed nice, but apparently was wrong about that as well. Called the store about missing items after spending 20 dollars for food for myself after work. The transgender person gets an attitude with me and hangs up the phone on me, after just simply asking him if I could come back by the following day to pick up my missing items. They tried to short us a drink as well. My son ordered the Big Burger but it came with cheese for some reason? I don't know why they don't call it a cheeseburger if it comes with cheese. The lobby is closed but the drive thru is open. I had ordered a double beyond last night but the new cashier messed up and gave me a super star with regular meat. I came back today and talked to Ethan a shift leader. He was extremely polite and happy, he took my order and when I got to the window I was talking to him about what happened. He was extremely polite and apologetic and offered to replace the burger free of charge. he went above and BEYOND to make sure my current order was correct (it was) and he replaced the double beyond from last night without question. The guy was so happy and friendly I hate to even bring up the mistake but his attitude and customer service should be rewarded by the company. I will definitely be coming back to this carls junior as often as I am in the area. 10/10 today read more

Not sure how he got the job of General Manager because his customer service was downright awful and I will NEVER be coming to this location because of the service here.
