The older guy who works there prob around 60-70 was taking my order and I asked what the special was and he yelled "I'm so sick of people not being able to read" that blew my mind and I drove up to the widow and yelled at him that he should never speak to somebody like that! Updating my review again because of Danny. Danny works the drive-thru at this Wienerschnitzel, and I need you to understand something: Danny has been here for over twenty years. Two decades. He has watched empires rise and fall from that red and yellow triangle shaped building, and he has opinions about chili dogs, bird dogs, hot dogs, corn dogs, you name it, that would make a sommelier weep. Sometimes I pull up and before I can even order I just blurt out, "Is this Danny?" There would be a perfect pause, and then he goes "...yes." Like I've just asked him if he's the one who stole my heart. Which, frankly, he has. The man KNOWS things. Secret menu things. Optimal topping combinations. How to get a great deal and stick it to the man (if you're nice, he will give you a bunch of coupons!!). The history of limited-time offerings. One time I asked a simple question about the Chili Cheese Dog and received what I can only describe as a masterclass. This is genuine expertise, and I respect it deeply. $6 deal too good to be true. 2 chili cheese dogs 1 chili fries I've never had extra hard buns from Weinerschnitzel EVER!! One half of the bun was extra hard and the other side was stale. And the fries had about a teaspoon (not tablespoon) of dried up chili. I could not believe it!! I was just going to take one or 2 bites of the chili dog and a couple of bites of the fries. I really went for fries only. But $6 deal was $1 more than just fries. I reached in the bag at a light to take a bite and I thought they put the chili dogs in a box because it was so hard. But all I could do was look at it. I think it was old buns and day old chili they they don't want to throw away. I really didn't need it anyway. ,I craved Weinerschnitzel when I was pregnant 30 years ago. I don't write reviews unless it's really good or very bad. This was horrible. I wish I had taken a picture. Just went to weinerschnitzel on sweetwater springs and I ordered 4 chili cheese dogs, 2 with onion and a small fry. I get home and all 4 had onion. My sister is allergic to onions and she took a bite and threw up because of onions! I put my 2 hotdogs down and went back to let them know what happened! I told the girl there that they need to listen to what people order because someone could get very sick! By the time I got back my food was cold because someone wasn't listening! i just don't understand how much more clear I needed to be with my order but your employees are going to make someone very sick if they don't listen to what is ordered! read more

Fast & Friendly I've been coming here for years even though it's a little drive for me, when I have a craving for chili cheese fries this is definitely an all time favorite. The deals are great and you can feed a family for cheap. I've never had a problem with service, I'm actually surprised by the negative reviews because I'm always greeted by a happy worker. Although I'm sure the workers here have had their fare share of rude customers given the location. Kindness is treated with kindness. There's a HS down the street and a freeway nearby so I'm sure it gets busy but I've never waited in line long enough to get annoyed. My little dogs and fries were edible. The chili dog was slightly runny and had a few chunks in it but nothing spectacular. It was kinda bland in flavor too. The naked hotdog was just ok too as I ended up putting some mustard on it after all. But the small fries were the best of it all. They were plentiful, hot and tasty. I felt like a hot dog today and this what's in the neighborhood. I tried the drive thur as it was quick and they have the inside restaurant. This place is OK...good for cheap dogs. I've been here several times and have tried out the chili dogs, corndogs, Chicago dog, pastrami sandwich, fries, shakes, and dipped cones. Chili dogs and corndogs are average, but acceptable for a quick bite. The Chicago dog (on pretzel bun) is one of my favs here and a good choice, if you like the toppings. Pastrami sandwich was a no-go for me. The bread was soggy (no toasting at all), and the pastrami was very very fatty (and I normally love fat on my meats...but this was overkill). Fries are mediocre at best and the chili cheese fries are pretty much guaranteed to produce heartburn for any and all that consume them lol. The shakes and dipped cones are pretty good and an obvious choice for kids. I should also note that I don't get an overwhelmingly "clean" vibe from this place. The employees normally appear to be sweaty, rushed, and with pretty sloppy uniform appearance. It's one of those things that I try to just shove into the back of my mind so I can get the food down LOL. I suppose I will have to lower the rating by a star or two if/when I end up with a dose of food poisoning. Until then, ignorance is bliss I guess :) read more

So I asked his name which was (MARK) and and told him he was rude and that I was gonna call cooperate on him he starts screaming at me and says" call them I own the fucking place!! I asked him to leave the window because he was very aggressive and I felt threatened. He wouldn't leave til I threatened to call cops. He finally left and I ordered my food..i had a hungry family at home waiting I had no choice.. I get my food and it was sloppy and smashed.. I ended up paying $36. Which I never had a problem with. But your website says different. I have never ever experienced anything like this in my life. I will never ever go back...the entire time he was yelling my 5yr granddaughter was in the back seat scared...I'm so shocked by this. Man I have not been to this place in over 10 years. I noticed they brought back their pastrami sandwich so I decided to give it a go. I ordered it with fries and a medium soda. I also had a $1.00 coupon so I used it. My sandwich was good but it was one dimensional. The bread should be either toasted or lightly grilled.
