The drive cashier was polite, professional and courteous. I received lukewarm fries in the drive thru yesterday around 11:00a.m.

I realize it's difficult to work in the service industry, especially at a fast food restaurant. I know from personal experience. That said, when we'd have discrepancies with our orders, like problems with the app, the cashier opted to believe the receipts in front of her instead of the app for proof of purchase. I can't change when the bank account shows a purchase! After that, they still made the hamburger wrongly so I had to back in and get them to correct it. At that pont, I could clearly see hints of a nasty attitude. She said I didn't tell her thr changes, but I know I did because my mom wants it the same way every time. I remained calm and pleasant so this was totally uncalled for. Not happy! read more

So I'm looking for some place to eat and none of the restaurants in the area are open due to a power outage in the El Cajon area off Jamacha. McDonald's was one of the few places that did have power so I stopped. I know the staff wasn't expecting everyone to come in here because they were short staffed. It took a while to get served with only 1 person working the front register, and lots of uber drivers waiting for their orders. It was a bit chaotic. On the upside my food was hot and my fries were fresh. I know it wasn't the staffs fault so no shade on her. She was being very patient with everyone. read more

It's getting pretty annoying that everytime I come to this location around 9pm-9:30pm and the building doors are already locked! It's always when that Ashley manager is closing. No signage posted on the door at all explaining why they closed early. There's no cars in the drive thru at all! If she can't handle being open another hour or so then she shouldn't be a closing manager. If she can't handle closing with 2-3 other employees then maybe fast food isn't the right job for her. She doesn't need a full team to get a shift done. If the work is too much for her then maybe stepping down from her position is best. read more

The feb9th night crew has a terrible attitude. No customer service skills.... When ordering at the drive thru the guy had a sassy attitude for no reason. They don't clarify what window to go to, then refuse to look at you when you pull up to the window with a smile. Keep in mind there were no other customers. I walked in and no one was at the counter, then a young black haired girl(wish I had looked at her name tag), asks me if she can help me? I said, "yes, I'd like to get a breakfast sandwich. " she replied, "we don't have breakfast anymore " like shockingly looked at her and said, "really?" She said, yeah we don't have breakfast anymore. So I left. I was so irritated with her I figured I'll just take my business elsewhere. I should've gotten her name, this place needs new management BIG TIME. No doubt the service is horrible. We frequently go to this McDonalds! The first time the chairs are ripped on the 2 seater tables we like to sit at. I thought they would fix them by the time we came back , but they haven't and it has been months. The staff is always very friendly and efficient. The tables are dirty often but I figure it's because they don't have the time to clean tables because they are so busy taking care of the customers. I am not saying Mc D's is my least favorite place to eat but professionalism isn't something Mc donald's values towards customers or employees. I walked in to find 4 people sitting in the dining area. Two of those people looked like managers. The other one was most definitely an employee. They were berating her. I could hear from the restroom. That's not professional. A conversation where your addressing an employees action shouldn't happen out on the floor with other customers able to hear that conversation. Also can't in any way make an employee feel valued. Then they wonder why they are always hiring. Don't even have a breakroom for employees. So what greatness you are showing the people that work for you. You think a discount on a meal is worth alot? But you don't even have a private space to talk to your employees. I'm sure she wasn't having a very good day with all the confronting her in the dining area and people able to hear. I was at the drive thru today on Avocado Street 2/22/2025 @12:44PM order #66, cashier #KS 13. While waiting to order, 2 vehicles that had driven up after me in the opposite drive thru lane, had their orders taken before me. I asked the cashier what happened and her excuse was that she was too busy to notice. I told her I don't think so... It was plain negligence on her part. Mcdonalds Corp please train your staff your drive thru procedures to take orders according to who goes next at the drive thru. Negligence and rudeness is unacceptable. Food: terrible, mcgriddles were cold and soggy with no egg or cheese. Ordered a bacon, egg, cheese biscuit and received two plain biscuits either nothing in them. What has happened to this McDonalds? Used to be my go to place always nice people and good service. Over the past year or so things have declined to a point that I will go out of my way not to visit this location. Today during the drive thru rush the cashier barely acknowledged me, but worse the lady operating the pick up window was just straight up rude. I had ordered a drink only, see literally took ten minutes just to hand it to me. This location is sadly going backwards when it comes to service and quality. Sad times. read more

Started going here and grabbing the Big Mac Jr for a friend who had surgery and can't drive. I have also always loved their coke a cola as it's the best.... once my friends better I probably won't make any stops here for a burger or fries as I have kind of out grown it but I'll definitely grab a coke if feeling that every once in a while. Today, the young girl at the counter (KS#3) said she was new - a week in, but she was super nice, walked to me to say they were waiting on the fries to be finished then walked my bag to me. She was friendly and provided good customer service. I liked the 4 stations where one could order from there to dine in and grab a table number or take it to go. The restaurant was clean, stocked with condiments and I liked the light up table that a father and daughter were seated at. It's more or an urban vibe in here. They did a nice job with the decor and utilization of the dining space!!!! This was my 2nd trip here within 2 weeks and the first was the drive thru. ... that took some time but sounded like it was due to a car ahead complaining about an order. I had a mobile order, went through drive through and they didn't have it ready so they said to wait on a number. They followed by making me wait 20 minutes in my car. There still wasn't any updates so I got down and asked about my order and waited another 5 minutes. They finally got my food with half of it being cold and the rest being hot. AVOID! The drive through menu screen looked like it was burned from the inside so it's incredibly hard to read the menu. Also, I ordered a McGriddle, and I was given a McMuffin, which was kind of annoying. I had literally only ordered the one thing, and there were only 3 people in the drive through lane.
