This store has a lot of fun items that I cannot find at the local grocery stores near my neighborhood. I just happen to be visiting the area and stopped in to buy a few necessities. Everything in the produce area and bakery and meat department are so beautifully arranged. I was amazed to see things as exotic as starfruit, dragon, fruit, And a very wide variety of gourds. Most of all of the shelves were stocked well and neatly. I noticed that all the products in the dairy were especially faced properly. It was easy to navigate the store and very nice to be able to shop any warm, clean, and inviting store. The cashier that helped me was not the warmest, but she wasn't terrible either. Maybe because it was nearing the end of the day she was exhausted.

Woah. New Raley's is fancy. They've got a cookie buffet, for your dog! I don't know what is in any of those cookies but I do know they're fancy looking. New Raley's has a sushi bar?! New Raley's might be more expensive but I can't tell because I'm blinded by the glistening produce? New Raley's has it all, labneh, dragon fruit, franzia, and what appear to be a whole new section dedicated to fresh made snackies. New Raley's does not have the comforting 70s vibe of old Raley's and is certainly not cheap. But at least new Raley's aesthetic now matches old Raley's prices. I like new Raley's new self check out situation. I accidentally spilled water all over myself and the ground in the self check out line and the very nice young checkout watcher cleaned up my spill. That was kind. Most importantly, new Raley's still has bucatini.

I was up in the NW Reno Keystone area, and I heard this Raley's had just reopened after like 6 mo of remodeling. My Raley's in Carson sure could use a remodel! The store was really hoppin' and parking was tight in the lot. The store looks like a brand new shiney store with nce organized asiles. What I really wanted to see was the meat and deli department as well as the hot food section. Looking at the meats, yes, they do offer prime grade beef here, but wow, those prices you're sure gonna pay. It's like Whole Food prices. $28 per lb for Prime Grade Rib Eye and they didn't really look that prime with the marbling they had. I guess it's just prices these days! The salmon was a little more reasonable at less than $10/ lb. THe ready made foods were Chinese offerings, but the prices were sit down restaurant prices for entrees of like sweet and sour pork and general's chicken, $12 an order, same as in Carson. One thing that struck me as odd, was the this location is lacking a Pharmacy! I love my Raley's pharmacy in Carson, but this brand new store has none! It's like a Costco without a gas station! (there are a few). Well, at least the locals around here have their grocery store back!

Deceptive pricing.

I think this is the best Raley's in the area. Nice people, great produce, and now carrying Applegate lunch meats. Thank you.

Great star reviews, so we decided to go try it. 1st off when we walked in, it was busy. There was the sweetest 2 ladies taking orders, but the lady with the glasses was the hugest help being our 1st time there. I ordered the biscuit and gravy burrito OMG the bomb. It was so delicious. Loved every thing about it. Now my husband ordered off the build your own menu. Turkey, ham, smoked cheddar, black olives, purple onion, Jalapeños and in house made pickles. Mustard, pesto sauce and horseradish sauce in a wrap. He said he'd not had a lunch like that in a long time. It was awesome to have an excellent meal. Now we did get to talk to Marissa the manager. She was working hard and was the sweetest. She thanked us for giving them a 1st try. Oh we will be life long customers from our experience today. I'd give them 10 if it was allowed!!

This was not even my first time here, and it definitely won't be my last. Great food, great service, as always.

I ordered a half size and was pleasantly surprised by the large portion size. There was a good amount of meat included on the sandwich as well. My husband got the Rich Boy sandwich on the jalapeno bread and loved it. The included cookie is a nice touch! The location is pretty easy to find, although not easy to park. My husband dropped me off to run inside as there weren't any available parking spots nearby. It also took me a sec to realize the storefront is in the back of the building from California Street. Both indoor and outdoor seating was available. We did online ordering which was a very smooth process. The app allows you to customize pretty much anything that you would like to on the sandwich which was great. It was very user friendly. The order was ready to go by the estimated time. The price is high - two sandwiches (1 whole and 1 half) were over $30. No chips or drink added.

We were glad we made the trip. The Ambiance is casual and no frills, but also open with nice spacing between tables and lots of windows to let in the natural. There is also a lot of outdoor seating which was not really an option in January. It's a walk up and order and pay process. They give you a number and the food is brought to the table. The staff were friendly and professional. Soft drinks are self serve. My friend and I split our order. No problem, separate bills, and sperate plates. The food overall was good. We deemed the pork schnitzel sandwich delicious and the BLT salad OK. Portions were quite adequate. The plates came out in a timely manner. The only complaint we had was the tables were not cleaned off. Also, the bathroom was also in need of tending. It would be worth a return visit if I were in that part of Reno. Not sure I would drive out of my way to eat there again.

You can hardly read the name of the restaurant. Perhaps it should be painted in white on the door like everyone else seems to have in the strip mall. Anyway, I definitely look forward to going again and trying some of their other items. Desserts looked really good, but it's a new year and we are all trying to eat a little better. Maybe next time.

I normally get the surfin bird and it's such a good sandwich! Cream cheese, bacon, avocado and turkey (best of everything)! My husband also always gets the Santa Cruz and it's really good. We recently decided to branch out a little and try the meatball sub and it was just okay. It ha peppercinis, sauce, cheese, meatballs and cream cheese in toasted bread. It's so messy you can't pick it up and eat it has to be eaten with a fork and knife and the meatballs are really lacking and cut in half for some reason. They are kind of like frozen meatballs it seems like. The people are always nice here although they seem not to be the most attentive. This... We ordered one classic cheesesteak…read more ONE cheesesteak. Ordered it at 2:40 pm. After waiting 35 min, still no cheesesteak. Thinking they may have forgotten our order or it was somehow misplaced, I asked how much longer it would be. Was told there was still a wait, but no specific time was given. We waited another ten minutes and still nothing. Went back up to the counter and asked again. Was met with major attitude and was told they're very busy. I looked around... Including us, there was one guy waiting at the counter and one girl who already had her sandwich. And there were zero Door Dashers the entire time we were there. There were NO other ppl that came in the entire time we were there. Ummmm.... It was crickets the entire time. Then all five employees came to the front as we were asking for our money back and we were met with some kind of weird, out-of-bounds rude behavior, saying things like, "Well if you think you can do better why don't you come back and run the grill?" To which I said, "Sure! No problem. I private chef on the side and can probably teach ya a thing or two. You cannot just fire on one sandwich every ten to fifteen minutes." After no cheesesteak and quite a bit of arguing, we finally got our money back. Lastly, it's worth noting, the place was super dirty. Used napkins on the floor, tables not wiped down. Counters not cleaned. Ketchup packets left on tables. Garbage clearly hadn't been taken out in a long time. So, let's just say, the Health Dept has been notified; the conditions are atrocious. Literally the worst place I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot! It's a shame... all of the other Capriotti's locations I've been to have been clean, ultra quick, and the quality of their products have been awesome. This one? Run. Run away fast and far! Do NOT eat there!
