WiFi has been out for over a week. Most people have gone to vons, better get if fixed.

Raley's is fantastic. I disagree that the prices are high, but then I'm from Manhattan. The gluten free section is better and cheaper than anywhere back home. Minus one star because it does actually seem from these reviews that there may be some racial profiling going on here. The tour buses stop here which may lead to frustration at times. read more

Excellent selection. Can't believe how may healthy/vegan options there were in a small town market.

I have been shopping at Raley's in Oakhurst for over 30 years. I love their produce very fresh and it they don't have something that you want, ask anyone to help you. The people are very friendly and if you can't find something they will help you find it. I have found that over the years that their prices are faire. Now that they have the e cart I will be trying it. I go back over and over to Raley's because of their products. The pharmacy is great and Mark and Jared go out of their way to help you. They have a great deli and the people that work in the deli are the nicest people. If you want to try a sample of something ask them to try. I don't mean the whole deli lol. read more

Oh Raley's...we used to really like you, but things have changed. Your customer service has gotten horrible and your staff, for the most part, are snobby and rude. I rarely go in anymore and was asked where I had been. When I replied I had been going to WInco in Fresno, the cashier replied, VERY rudely, "This place is a palace compared to winco". Then she proceeded to trash Fresno, where I am originally from. Not professional at ALL. You work at a store, it isn't a status symbol. We now go to Vons and grocery outlet. This Raleys is the best grocery store in the Yosemite area. Their fruits and vegetables are always fresh and in pristine condition, Their meat is very good, and their butchers are helpful. They also have a great vegan / organic selection (eggs, dairy, produce, grains, soy and hemp products, etc...) They carry a broad selection of other merchandise as well including gardening, hardware, toys, and movies. I live almost 20 miles out of town so when i shop i like to get everything in one place and Raleys is good for that. Their prices are pretty good, better than a Whole Foods for example, and probably about the same as the Vons in the shopping center across the street. The Vons may be a bit cheaper but is also more crowded and in my opinion Raleys sells a slightly higher quality of produce, and has a better organic selection. I have never had to wait in line long, and some of the ladies who work there are not bad looking either :) read more

First of all I love Raley's. However, this one is not good. I am a military wife in town with my in laws while my husband is away. Yes, I use wic because anything helps while I'm staying home with my daughter, leaving us with just one income. Like I said, we are a military family so we are not rolling in the dough. These people were extremely rude about it. They treated me like I couldn't read, didn't know what I was doing, and like doing checkout was a total pain in their you know whats. The bagger even rolled her eyes and sighed. From what I've heard there has been several complaints about this behavior. It took over half an hour for them to check me out because they kept saying what I had was wrong and asking if I even read the book, so I had to pull out the book every time to prove to them that I was right. Then on top of that I went in the other day, not using wic, just shopping for things to send my husband in a care package, and my infant daughter and I were followed around the entire store. I dress very nice and I take very good care (not that any of that should matter). Only thing is I've got quite a lot of tattoos, mostly covered up with clothing. I guess this constituted a manager following me around the store making me feel very uncomfortable and very embarrassed. Then at the front of the store he stood there watching me walk out and proclaimed to a friend that "he's looking out for trouble," and gestured towards me. I am beyond ticked off with this store and will not be shopping here again unfortunately. And I will be letting all of my friends know about this situation. This was only the second time I've been in this particular store and I can assure you it is the final time. read more

I have lived in the foothills for over thirty years, and my experience at Raley's has forced me to shop in Fresno, rather than shop there. Since there has been new corporate management, I can no longer have my store order things that I like. I must call corporate and they have NEVER helped me. One of many hypocritical annoyances: they stopped providing sodas at checkout--I was told it was to protect its customers from unhealthy drinks--even though they stock all kinds of unhealthy snacks at checkout. Another: their slogan: Let's make healthy food more affordable--when healthy choices are even more expensive than the other choices. They used to have more variety, more items, and I could do all my shopping locally. Now they stock fewer items, discontinued items I was always able to buy, and corporate will not respond to requests to bring them back. Hence I shop in Fresno, spending a minimum of $200/week in Fresno rather than Raley's. I still shop at Raley's for cold products and some produce. The people who work there are wonderful. I feel sorry they have to work for such an unresponsive and politically correct corporation. read more

Slowest sandwich makers ever! The sandwiches are good, but take about 25 minutes to make 2 sandwiches and only have one person at a time making them. Besides that, the person making the sandwiches always seems to be mad about the fact that they're making sandwiches; any special requests will get you a mean scowl. I'm a local, and it has always been like this, management doesn't seem to care, or this problem would have been solved a long time ago. Maybe it's the workers (sandwich makers) way of discouraging sales. Oakhurst is the gateway to Yosemite so you have many tour buses stopping here, try getting a sandwich then! read more

This store is awesome! It's very clean, and the staff is super friendly, and the deli has the best fried chicken and amazing sandwiches, and they have the best produce section, the prices are affordable, and I especially love their $5 Mondays! Some people complain about how long they have to wait to get a sandwich at the deli, but obviously if you go in at a busy time, and there are only 2 or 3 employees at the counter, then you just need to have patience! read more

I've been shopping at this Raleys for 29 years. I will admit to giving Von's a try when they first came to town, but preferred the place "where everybody knows your name". I have NEVER had any employee be rude to me. If service is slow, I assume it's because the extra help might be on their lunch break. As far as the gentleman who used his card and didn't receive a discount on any items, I'm guessing he doesn't realize how the card works. I appreciate the check I get and the coupons and freebies that come with it "in the mail" at regular intervals. I've always found the restrooms to be clean and inoffensive. But the thing I love most about Raleys is that they unload my cart. Nowhere else have I found this amenity. When forced to shop at another store, I sometimes stand for a moment before I realize I have to unload my cart. I am spoiled. This company has always put customer service first. If the employee you deal with truly scowls at you,(although I have a hard time believing it) give them a break. You don't know what the last customer was like. Also, a smile and a kind word go a long way. Believe it or not, waiting on people, some of whom treat you like a servant or worse, is not always an easy task. So I say, Yay for Raleys and what they bring to our community. And before you judge an employee, spend a day in their shoes. Thank you Raleys for your wonderful meats, deli, produce, and groceries. As well as your helpful and knowledgable employees, ( many who know me and call me by name) and your willingness to always make things right(which can only be done if a wrong is brought to your attention and not just talked about on a ratings app).
