The cashier who helped me was very friendly and nice, he got me the fries&drink combo even though I didn't know about it and ordered them separately. I chose to sit in the patio which was pleasant and peaceful with the weather and the view of the mountains. The food came out very quickly -- the sandwiches fresh & fries straight from the fryer. The sandwiches were perfect portion and the Dutch crunch had that perfect crunch but softness at the same time. The homestyle lemonade was just the cherry on top, refreshing and not overly sweet. Heading to the Mariposa grove so ordered a salad and a turkey sandwich with the dressing and fixing in side so that it would not get soggy. We had a nice picnic in a little area right in front of the Grizzly Giant and all the area chipmunks, squirrels and crows were flanking us trying to get some food. We absolutely loved Deli Delicious. There was a great selection of sandwiches. There is something for everyone. (1) Meatballs in the Meatball sandwich were so soft and perfectly seasoned. (2) The salami slices in the Salami and Cheese sandwich were thick and not shaved. (3) The Turkey Avocado Pesto sandwich was wonderful. There was plenty of pesto sauce slathered on the bread. Ingredients were so fresh. My favorite part was the sourdough bread. I thought the mustard caused the sour taste in my mouth. I accidentally had a small piece of bread that had nothing on it. I popped it in my mouth and discovered the sourdough bread was really sour. Most sourdough breads are mildly sour. Not the bread here. There is plenty of seating, and all the elements were in the right place. My son has a 32 oz water bottle. He asked if he could fill his bottle with water from the drink machine, and they allowed it. This was the cherry on top. We thought it was very generous of them. If you want a sandwich any which way you can think of, stop by. It's well worth the stop before heading to Yosemite. read more

We found this place headed home from Yosemite and it was incredible. First off walking in we were greeted by Mandy and the staff and they all were so warm. She walked us through the menu and helped us to pick out some great choices!! Also it's located in Oakhurst and has beautiful Mountain View's. My husband and I shared the chipotle chicken sandwich and meatball sub with a side of sweet potato fries. To our surprise Mandy added a small portion of the spicy fried green beans with our fries. Now look that's something I wouldn't normally opt to try however IT WAS SO GOOD!! Definitely give them a try. We will absolutely be back next time we come to town. read more

First, I had no idea Deli Delicious had GLUTEN FREE options. Someone bought lunch for the company I work for, which was very sweet of them. I don't often get included in the order at sandwich' shops, so I just said, "Anything gluten free, if they have it," Unbeknownst to me, a very fresh and big lettuce wrapped "Turkey Avocado Sprouts Swiss" with "The Works" (condiments). I was blown away, it was delicious. I waited to review until I went a few more than a few times, just incase that wrap was a fluke. Nope! I haven't gotten sick there yet and I appreciate that a lot. Itzel makes the best wraps, I believe I can tell the difference if she's making them. Perfectly stuffed, tightly wrapped (because if not they are super hard to eat), and cut in half. Thanks girl! Thank you for always being on time for my pick up order (which is super easy to place by the way) and thank you for the great food. It's obvious you're a hard worker and care about your job. That's rare these days. I've never been to any other Deli Delicious besides this one, but I can't see how they would top this one. Thanks again! The workers know their sandwiches. It was a helping hand to have this place around while we spent the whole day in Yosemite Park and needed food to take with us. The sandwiches here are good for the price and taste. What I mostly appreciated was that they not only answered my questions but also recommended against taking a specific sandwich for a long trip. I orders the turkey with avocado, it was simple, tasty and it as very filling. My partner had the pastrami sandwich, which great not tooo salty and perfect for the long day ahead. I usually order the tuna salad on lettuce, 1/2 portion. I always ask for no red onions and each time I get red onions. I asked for croutons and there are no croutons. We had the sourdough roll which is so soft - and the bread often "makes" a good sandwich for me. Had the small sandwich - which is a pretty good size and filled me up. I ordered the ham & turkey with "the works" which includes all the normal extras and mayo/mustard & oil/vinegar. I wasn't sure how those three condiments worked together, but they were great! Everything was fresh! The service team were super-friendly and the owner/manager checked to make sure everything was good. What a great sandwich and a great experience! I stopped here for lunch about 2 Saturdays ago while in town for work. I wasn't too hungry and I knew I was going to be in the car for another few hours on a very hot day, so I originally asked if they had a kids meal, since I couldn't keep leftovers in the car. We wanted to try something local and different and craving a sandwich we came here. They have a LOT of options and menu looked great. I love that they have sprouts as a topping too. We both ordered the foot long size which we asked to have wrapped in two halves for both of them so we could save for the next day. I asked for no oil and vinegar on one of my halves so it wouldn't be soggy later but found out they both had it so my bread was pretty soggy and hard to eat immediately but way worse the next day. So beware when getting "the works on toppings" as it includes the oil and vinegar and can make the bread pretty soggy. They do put a lot of meat and toppings on their sandwiches which is nice. They make in the back so you can't really check to see if they weren't putting oil and vinegar on the whole sandwich like I should have looked out for. Other than that our other sandwich was great so definitely better than a Subway. read more
