South Gate Brewing Company - Hula Pork Fries. Delicious!

Everything was AWESOME! Hostesses who greeted us, Heather…read moreour server, food and beer were great. Best way to end our trip in Yosemite. Our family had fish tacos and chimay beer, fish and chips orale beer, and beet salad with coke. My fish on the tacos were perfectly lightly battered and probably better than home (Tucson). My husband fish and chips, we're outstanding. His beer battered fish was on point, Tarter sauce so good and fries you couldn't stop eating. I stole at least half. My daughter loved her beet salad with fresh homemade ricotta. If in Oakhurst stop here. It will not disappoint.

I specifically explained to our waiter that I wanted my burger cooked medium, with some pink but not bloody. He reiterated that my only choices were "pink" or "no pink," so I selected pink. What arrived was a completely well-done burger. For a restaurant serving grass-fed beef, that's honestly a shame. If you're going to highlight the quality of your beef, the kitchen should know how to cook it properly, especially when a customer has clearly communicated their preference. To make matters worse, the burger was advertised as coming with garlic aioli. What I received was essentially plain mayonnaise with a generous amount of raw bell peppers. I'm not sure in what world that qualifies as garlic aioli, but it certainly wasn't what was described or what I expected. The menu description was misleading, and the combination itself was bizarre. Overall, the experience was frustrating. When a restaurant emphasizes quality ingredients, I expect that same level of care in preparation, execution, and menu accuracy. Unfortunately, this burger missed the mark on all three. Grass-fed beef deserves better than being cooked into oblivion.

We got a breakfast burrito, ginger cookie, a coffee, and fresh squeezed orange juice to go. The burrito was simple but delicious. The cookie was really good - maybe one of the best ginger snap cookies I've had. The staff here were very nice and courteous and food came out fairly quickly. There's a lot of space for seating with cute retro decorations. We enjoyed our experience and came back for lunch the next day!

There was a short line when we arrived. It took about 16 minutes just to order 2 cappuccinos and 2 pastries. The coffees too another 5 minutes . The line is longer as i wrote this review. Not sure who the manager is but I don't see a lot of managing the line occurring. We went the next day because the other bakery i. Town served stale blueberry muffins and the barrister wasn't working. This time at Bees, there was no line. But it still took more than ten minutes to get our cappuccino. The cheese Danish were made from puff pastry sheets that are sold frozen and they were filled with a tasty but sparse cheese filling. I went from three stars to two. Not worth the price (2 danish and 2 large cappuccino ($22)

After a long day of hiking in Yosemite this was the perfect place to relax and eat good food…read more Oakhurst Grill reminds me of an old fashioned, upscale country restaurant. It has a large dining room and a large whiskey lounge. The dining room has art adorning the walls and large windows overlooking the mountains. The menu is a mix of Italian American dishes and pub food. The service was great and our server was awesome. One funny thing about this restaurant is that the chairs are all on wheels. I actually think this would be smart to have at a lot of restaurants. It makes getting up from the table or sliding towards it much easier. I was really impressed by the food here. The pretzel is one of the best I've ever had. It's huge and perfectly baked. It comes with a tasty beer cheese, and I also ordered some Dijon mustard for dipping as well. For an entree I ordered the pork schnitzel. It's a very rich dish with good flavors and textures. I highly recommend it!

Very personable, and accommodating. We had 30 people present. The manager accommodated our group for a dinner reservation at 3:00, an hour before they opened. Ally (spelling?) was our waitress and even with servers in our family, she's the best waitress I have ever seen. This women took all drink orders, delivered them. Took all food orders, delivered them, all hot, no errors, and all within the same time frame. Our drinks all remained full, but so did our hearts. Ally felt like a family member, even giving a little speech after being taunted lovingly, followed by a dance! 2 very enthusiastic thumbs up. Our entire party was so impressed with our whole experience, thank you Ally for sharing your time with us! #CollinsWeddingParty10.16.2026 Now on to the food! The portions are huge. The food was delicious, get the Rib Eye and smother that sucker. You won't be sad after! The only thing that might give Ally a run for her money is the Beer Cheese that comes with their delicious and shareable pretzel! The Braised Beef Pasta was mouthgasmic! This was my first time here and I already know next time, I'll be ordering the jambalaya!! I also had major food envy over the Clam Chowder in a sourdough bread bowl!!

I called a couple weeks in advance to ask about reservations and was told they don't take them. But it usually isn't that busy. Parking is very easy since it's inside a hotel. We sat outside. The service really went out of their way to accommodate our larger group of 12. They rearranged tables. They brought out blankets and lit the fire pits because the propane tanks for the heat lamps were all out. It gets chilly once the sun sets. The menu itself is a bit limited. Most people went with the pasta and really enjoyed it! I got the carrots and ricotta and the butternut squash soup. My fiance got the ribeye. Everything was tasty. The soup came with fresh bread. The service team timed the plates pretty well! All the food came out at once. I think they really aren't used to having larger groups. We got one menu per 2-3 people. But the patio area was a good fit for our occasion. Among the lawn games they had corn hole, jenga, and giant connect four. It made for some natural ice breakers for everyone to get to know each other in a more casual environment. Some small hiccups that I feel could easily be resolved (propane refill and more menus). But I highly recommend checking them out if you're in the area!
