My vegan friend had the Al Fresco (Tomato, artichoke heart, Mediterranean olive blend, garlic, onion, spinach and mushrooms, balsamic vinegar, served over penne pasta with a side of ciabatta bread.) He barely touched it because it just didn't taste good. Everyone at the table tried it and agreed we wouldn't recommend it. The cheesecake "bites" for dessert is more like a slice of previously frozen cheesecake cut into 2 pieces, with a drizzle of syrup on top. We kicked things off with one of the best oysters I have ever had, followed by a beautiful tuna presentation. By the time the main courses arrived, I honestly could not decide if I liked my beef or my friend's snap pea risotto better; every single bite was pure perfection. The cocktails were another high point. My first drink was great, but after chatting with our server, Jordan, I decided to try the Last Word. It featured that hard-to-find green chartreuse, and I am a little annoyed to report that I have a new favorite cocktail that requires such a rare ingredient.
