Steak

We tried Vintage Steakhouse this last Saturday. I recommend making a reservation in advance. Everyone was so sweet and friendly! The restaurant itself is lovely and clean. I love the open kitchen. And the food, yum! The bread and butter was good but not great (great flavor but a little hard). My husbands steak was delicious, ginormous and perfectly cooked. My dad loved his clam chowder & crab cake (good enough to be worth the price considering you only get one cake). And my roasted chicken and veggies were fantastic (perfectly cooked & seasoned with the only issue being the carrots were slightly hard/undercooked). The mashed potatoes were a little gummy but we still ate them up! And the dessert...the Elderberry Cheesecake was phenomenal! Zero notes on that dessert, one of my favorite cheesecakes ever. All in all we loved the service, our meal & look forward to returning!

Food: ordered ribeye and a side of risotto and Brussels sprouts The sprouts I think are candied and are soaked in flavor. Risotto is creamy and savory as should be. Ron was attentive and excellent to our party. Also got the tasting menu. Started with tuna on a spoon. The pork belly was great flavor though it may have been more seared than expected to get the caramelization. Savor the flavor dollops! Halibut was good The ny strip and crab leg wasn't bad. The spicy aioli is good when it's cold out.

Waygu burger is 8 oz and cooked well with tomato, lettuce, onion, Swiss cheese and a sweet onion jam that makes it really special.

We enjoy this steakhouse when we go to Chukchansi. Ron is an outstanding waiter. We love him. My husband ordered the prime ribs and I ordered the waygu burger and fries. The meals come with a bread basket and butter. The ambiance is dark and romantic with booths and tables that feel private. We have eaten here at least 5 times and keep going back.

Came here for a dinner date with my boyfriend and everything was on point. We had a reservation and got seated right on time. Drinks came out fast and our server was honestly the sweetest, super attentive all night. I got the Petit Filet, my boyfriend got the 120z filet topped with crispy onions (so good), with a loaded potato and lobster mac on the side. That lobster mac? Fire. Creamy, cheesy, and had actual chunks of lobster in it. Both our drinks were good and strong. Loved the whole vibe, definitely a great spot for a date night or special dinner. I'd come back just for that mac, not even gonna lie. Josie O. Vintage Steak House, Coarsegold: 2025 Dec 4 (Service: 5 of 5) (Food: 2 of 5)

Vintage Steak House, Coarsegold: 2025 Dec 4 (Service: 5 of 5) (Food: 2 of 5) Service: We had a great server, Ronald M. Ron was gracious, polite, and has a quiet and professional demeanor. Food: We eat at Vintage Steakhouse several times a year. Most of the time, we've had decent to excellent food. This evening, however, we were not impressed with the food at all. Food Tasting Menu: Amuse Bouche (4.5 of 5) was a perfect vehicle to prepare the palate and showcase the chef's creativity for the rest of the meal. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal did not live up to our expectations. Pork Belly: It has a sweet, savoury flavour that marries well but something was missing on the plate. (4 of 5) Halibut: Even before the plate was set down, we smell the fishiness from the plate. The fish was dry and the sauce ambiguous. The presence of cilantro overpowered the dish. (3 of 5) Prime Rib & King Crab Leg: The King Crab was supposed to be the star of this dish, but the chef went overboard with the cayenne pepper, rendering this 'star' trashy. We thought it criminal as it ruined the entire dish. The meat is a few seconds over and under seasoned. While the asparagus and carrots were cooked nicely, the other vegetables were near raw. (Overall, this dish scored a 2 of 5). They've had ups-and-downs making their Crème Brûlée. The cream portion was excellent in taste and texture but the top had a bitter taste, almost like they torched it too far too. (3 of 5) Overall, this tasting menu set is a 3 of 5. Loaded Potatoes: This was okay, but also under seasoned. (3.5 of 5) Lamb: We asked for medium rare but it came closer to bloody rare. The sauce was superb. (3 of 5) Beet Salad: This was supposed to come with frissee lettuce, roasted beets, candied walnuts, goat cheese emulsion with shallot vinaigrette. No where did it say cilantro is mixed in. They served this simple salad with cilantro. We had to send it back. Ron brought a new serving. The second plate tasted flat. It totally lost marks on flavour. It was watery, with no dressing at all. The only edible item were the walnuts. (1 of 5) Tuna Sashimi: Thinly sliced daikon rests on top of the raw sashimi. It's shimmery look and simple dressing of lemon oil and ponzu was just enough to elevate this dish. (4.5 of 5) Bread: Stale bread that's seen better days were the start of our meal. Not a very good start. (1 of 5) We were pampered for so long that I had to ask Ron if they hired a new chef. I guess we won't be regular diners here going forward.

Had an excellent dinner at Vintage. We started off with the Pork Belly appetizer. Which was delicious. For the main courses we had the bone-in rib eye, prime rib and the filet mignon Oscar style. Which is asparagus, jumbo lump crab and bearnaise sauce on top of your steak. The sides were baked potato, mashed potatoes and wild mushroom risotto. And since we were celebrating a couple of birthdays we had dessert. Or shall I say a tray of desserts. There was bread pudding, crème brûlée, cheesecake and lots of other goodies on the plate. Overall experience was outstanding. Service was top notch. This is definitely a great place to go to celebrate a special occasion.

We had a great visit here for my sister's birthday. The steakhouse offers a quiet dinner away from the hustle and bustle of the casino. We made reservations although they're not required. We had a party of 8 and were sat promptly. The service was professional and very accommodating throughout our visit. Our server, Grant, was gracious and helped navigate the menu. There was another employee, Veronica, who was super attentive and accommodating. Loved her! The food was delicious. The wedge salad was crisp with hearty bacon pieces. I also ordered the French onion soup which was hearty and so flavorful. My sister ordered the surf and turf which she loved. The steak had a crispy crust while cooked perfectly medium rare and she enjoyed the tender lobster tail. We would definitely return.

Truth be told, I'm not usually a steak girly, but my sisters are, and they took me to a steakhouse. And not just any steakhouse but a casino steakhouse, which in my opinion is questionable. However, I can now confidently say I will never order fish as an entrée again! The staff was amazing--shout out to Mitch at the bar for putting up with my jokes. The staff was incredibly accommodating to my preferences, especially since they knew I wasn't a steak lover. Usually, restaurants will direct you to non-steak options right away, but after confirming that I wasn't vegan or vegetarian, they truly highlighted the steak menu. Now, I can officially say I am a filet mignon girly!

New chef new menu did not disappoint. The food was delicious and the service is always top notch. We sat at the chefs counter and it was a fun experience. The ambiance always has a good vibe.

Planned a date day with my wife ending here for dinner. After a mediocre massage at Chukchansi, we were looking forward to this dinner. Ambiance and staff were great and there is an option to sit at a chef's counter. Food reviews: Clam chowder was very good Wedge salad was also very good Crab cakes seemed frozen and not fresh. Texture wasn't great. Would not order again. Filet was cooked perfectly and flavored right. They even split it for us without us asking. Lobster Mac & Cheese and Mushroom Risotto was out of this world! Some of the best I have ever had. Would definitely come back.

Hello my peeps I know it's been awhile so here it goes. Had the opportunity to visit the Vintage Steakhouse At Chuckchansi Casino and to be fair I had the Mary's Roasted Chicken, wedge salad and also sampled the green beans and crab cakes. Now all these were good the staff were friendly, pleasant and the wait staff were very attentive. The interior is ok comfortable, the kitchen area is viewable from the dining area which is distracting unless you are tuck away in a booth or sitting at the bar. Now to be fair I will have to return and try what they are know for and that's the steak so stay tuned.

Going here as a vegetarian would be a huge missed steak! ... *crickets* anyway, we've been meaning to try Vintage for a while! Some of the other reviews here have been saying it's up and down, this is our first visit so I'll be basing this entirely off our first time. Our visit had a somewhat inauspicious start as we couldn't get a reservation on open table, but the hostesses helped us to get in and we were seated in about ten minutes. Now, it's important to remember that Vintage is in a casino, a smoking casino, and while not as strong as on the gambling floor, the smell of smoke was pervasive even within the restaurant, stifling and never completely dissipating even once we were nestled in our almost too-dark booth. This may bother some, but I'm a troglodyte so I felt right at home. We were immediately poured water and brought bread by the wait staff, and introduced to our server, Brett was extremely knowledgeable about ingredients and made excellent recommendations, and overall I have nothing but good things to say about our service. We ordered the buttermilk prawn and shishito pepper appetizer, which was *AMAZING* maybe the best thing we ate all night, absolutely recommend. We also had a salad to start off with, roasted pears, a sweet possibly balsamic based sauce, with candied walnuts, blue cheese and the eponymous roasted pears. This was also fantastic and perfectly balanced, absolutely recommended. Now, for the main course we decided we wanted to take on the flagship featured main course, the 40 ounce traumahawk, I mean tomahawk ribeye, we ordered some accoutrements including the lobster mac, scalloped potato, and creamed spinach. Let me start off by saying, the tomahawk was good, not great but good. An aged steak like that should explode with flavor, it was pretty solid but nothing incredible. It was also undercooked and served noticeably cold. It was ordered medium rare and was served rare, with portions nearing blue. Obviously part of the advertised 40 ounce weight was bone but once it was pared of the fat and bone it was a pretty meager portion for $140 dollars, won't be doing that one again. The bone being a solid 10 ounces alone. The lobster macaroni and cheese was EXTREMELY rich which isn't necessary a bad thing, but it was noticeable. It had TONS of flavor and I'm pretty sure it had several different cheeses, I'm guessing egg yolk and what tasted and seemed to me like bacon grease. It was amazing, but oh boy it was filling. The scalloped potato had decent flavor but it was not at all what I was expecting to order, it was basically a square of potato which was cooked nice and crispy on the outside, sliced thinly and permeated with some kind of jus. But it didn't have any sauce on the plate to speak of, it did have flavor but if you're expecting an au gratin, or a dauphinoise you'll be very disappointed. Not bad for what it was, but it wasn't what I had in mind. Definitely the low point of the meal. The creamed spinach was very well done, nice and creamy with very fresh spinach used, if you're a creamed spinach fan you won't be disappointed! After the meal our server brought my grandmother, who was turning 82, a little dessert surprise which was very nice of them, the wait staff helped to box up the leftovers that we had, and we went on our way. (I'm now aware of the leftover lobster Mac in the fridge and am excited) Overall I wanted to give Vintage a 5* but I just can't. There are really no excuses that can be made, this is a no holds barred steakhouse, inside a casino or not, and their menu is priced as such. So things like our steak being cold, the smoke smell from the gambling floor, every item on their menu is ala carte. The major one being the steak. Either way, this adds up to a 4* review for me, and while I would go back, I'd definitely order differently! The definite standouts for me are the roast pear salad, and the shishito prawns, I'd come back for those any day of the week and twice on Sunday . You could eat one of those sides as an entree solo as well! In all if you're in the area and looking for a nice meal, consider Vintage! The great service and solid food will make for a wonderful meal!

Happy birthday!

Love this place! Typically come here for a special occasion. Pretty dark inside, plays classical music. Open kitchen. Service is quick and very friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and brought out a pretty treat for a birthday. Had the king crab fettuccine. Pretty good, fresh, tastes as you would expect. Not pictured is prime rib, generous portion. Sides dishes are all pretty solid. Would recommend the scalloped potatoes.

That is exactly what happened during my recent dinner at Elderberry House. I visited with a group of four, and between us, we had two gluten-free diners and one vegetarian. After a quick heads-up the day before, the restaurant handled our needs with total ease. We went for the five-course tasting menu, and it was incredible from start to finish. We kicked things off with one of the best oysters I have ever had, followed by a beautiful tuna presentation. The kitchen even looked out for our gluten-free friends with a special version of their herbal-butter focaccia that was actually delicious. By the time the main courses arrived, I honestly could not decide if I liked my beef or my friend's snap pea risotto better; every single bite was pure perfection. The cocktails were another high point. My first drink was great, but after chatting with our server, Jordan, I decided to try the Last Word. It featured that hard-to-find green chartreuse, and I am a little annoyed to report that I have a new favorite cocktail that requires such a rare ingredient. The service is what really made the night so special. Jordan was so charismatic and helpful, making sure we were perfectly taken care of all evening. He was so good that I almost worried a second visit would not be the same without him, though the rest of the staff quickly put that fear to rest. Abby was so friendly and responsible for a truly unique but perfect-for-the-vibe playlist, and Chris the mixologist even stopped by to geek out about gin and cocktails with us. From the genuine care for our food sensitivities to the clever touch of the iPad check-in hidden in an elegant binder, it was a night for the books. I cannot recommend this place enough and look forward to bringing my family next!

The food and prices both completely exceeded our expectations. I ordered the lasagna, and my wife had the shrimp scampi. The food was bland and lacked flavor across the board. My daughter's chicken was poorly trimmed and had visible fat on it. My own meal didn't arrive with the rest of the table because the wrong plate was brought out, and it had to be remade. By the time I received my correct dish, everyone else was halfway through their meal. Service was also lacking. We had to ask multiple times for drink refills, and there was no acknowledgment, apology, or attempt to make things right after the delays and food issues. For a restaurant that is only open limited hours each week, we expected a much higher level of quality and attention. Sadly, this was one of the worst Italian dining experiences we've had. We hope management takes steps to improve both food quality and customer service.

Walking in, it didn't seem very clean. There were pizza pieces on the chairs. Floor needs some mopping. The gentleman working greeted us and was very friendly. We ordered an xtra large Supreme to go. It had pepperoni, sausage, peppers, onions, olives, and mushrooms. The pizza itself wasn't horrible. Tastes like a frozen pizza from the grocery store with extra toppings. I'm used to NY/NJ pizza and went into this place knowing it would be different. It was underdone so I definitely recommend putting it in the oven if you get take out. There was a lot of pepperoni. Not too much sausage or mushrooms. The cheese was ok but thick. The size doesn't add up to xtra large for me but I never ate here before so don't have a comparison. It had 8 regular sized slices. I don't recommend paying more for this size. On a side note, there is a foosball table in working condition. The arcade area had a few machines but we didn't try them. Looked like they have ice cream. I gave 2 stars for several reasons- 1)the place was empty and dirty. Spend the downtime cleaning up; 2) the size of the pizza was disappointing for the price.

The crust..... flat, hard, and without taste, As was the pizza.. no taste. The second, all meat looked a bit better but was burnt and raw at the same time. How does that happen? The pizza oven was dirty and you can tell by the bottom of the crust. And there are exposed wires on the oven. There was really no service as there was a language barrier as well as cultural differences as we didn't speak Hindi. They really made no effort to try to communicate either, which should have raised some red flags when we walked in. Ambiance??? Where??? There was none. Stark, 5 photos of newer muscle cars. That's it. The " arcade" was four claw machines. One nascsr game a pool table and a dingy couch. This all took an hour to unravel. All I can say is for your own peace of mind DO NOT GO HERE It's a shame because if it's done right it could be a great place but as it stands now even a one star rating is too much.
