Pizza factory is a great pizza place where locals and tourists can come enjoy some great food, and atmosphere. It's family friendly and has a small arcade area for the kids ( or kidults) I know I usually hit the claw machines and a few arcade favorites when I visit with my family and friends. They have a nice variety of food, from the " Chad" sandwich, which I'll leave a secret as to what's in it so you'll come check it out yourself, to the Calzones which are jam packed with your favorite toppings. Our last trip we had a simple pepperoni Calzone, which was huge. Then a multitude of hand tossed pizza. We usually have the Sierra Special which is packed with meat veggies and cheese. But their Hawaiian pizza with extra cheese and sauce if Amazing! Service is good but it does get busy so there could be a slight wait. Plenty of free parking, it's in our local shopping center so if you are visiting there is a grocery store and a CVS within close walking distance. Hope to see you all there soon. read more

Fun fact about this Pizza Factory location, it's their very first location! I did love the nostalgic feeling of a late 90's / early 2000's sit down pizza place with their stained glass windows and decades, old arcade games. We ordered a large half cheese and half pepperoni, black olive, and mushroom pizza. Along with an order of boneless wings. The pizza was good and they definitely don't skimp on the cheese, but their pizza does one thing that I truly can't get behind... on your first bite all of the toppings and cheese come off and you're left with a sauced slice of dough. The did try a meat lovers slice and once again not lacking on the toppings, just on the pizzas construction; everything fell off. The boneless wings took over an hour to come out. After a quick reminder to the staff, I realized they had just forgotten to make them. There were a few more order mishaps with our party's order. I could tell, even after our order issues, that the staff was hustling and very helpful with getting our order right. They really seemed to care. This location is about an hour and a half from my house, so I don't think I'd come back. This was just a quick fill our belly trip after a day in Yosemite. read more

I showed up hungry after a 6 day backpacking trip through Yosemite and didn't know how much food to order for 4 men. I've never felt so rushed in my life! The order-taker was throwing out vibes like he had a pressing appointment with his couch. I thought, "Surely, this can't be the attitude of a manager?" My wife and I stopped by here on our way to Yosemite. Most of the neighboring restaurants were either closed or had a massive wait so we decided to try this spot out. The location is pretty good given that it is on the main road through town and near-ish to the Yosemite entrance (amount 30 minute drive). It was BUSY and had a line out the door. They were also short staffed so I could see why they weren't the friendliest; but they sure were fast. The combo pizza was really good but I have to say the veggie pizza was slightly better. The salami on the combo pizza was a little too salty for my taste, but still a good pie nonetheless. We have had Pizza Factory before at other locations and they were equally as good. The only problem I have with this place are the prices. They are exorbitant for all the sizes. A small pizza (which actually was a decent size) was $15!!! The flavor is good and the pizza is filling but I cannot believe the prices. You will have to break the bank and take out a second mortgage to buy a Large pizza. It is almost impossible to walk out under $30 for a meal for two. Disappointing because the flavor is great but it does not meet the price point..... I wish I could give a higher rating because the food is really good but the prices and service given do not make the experience perfect. My boyfriend and I were so excited to try this local pizza place after a long drive from Long Beach, but I must say that I was quite disappointed. We called in our order: a Greek salad and half a western-style BBQ chicken and half a pepperoni pizza. Over the phone, we had clarified that the BBQ chicken portion of the pizza was western-style because we knew it would be confusing. After picking up the pizza, we got home and realized that they had given us the BBQ chicken without the peppers, onions, etc. They had also forgotten the Italian dressing for the salad. I was also pretty disappointed with the pizza. The crust was not fluffy or chewy and just seemed overdone and crunchy. Food - I ordered a large pizza but in a group of 6 adults 1 was vegetarian. So we requested them if they could do a quarter veg. And they were sweet enough to do so. Pizza was delicious. Love the Pizza Factory chain but when we got our order sent to our hotel the pizza was not cut through all the way. We weren't given utensils at all even though we asked for them. They gave us no salad dressing at all for our Greek salad. Disappointing. Before we moved to Oakhurst, the North Fork Pizza Factory was our closest option and they rarely ever disappointed. This location is clearly a separately owned franchise, and the quality is lacking. The first two times we ordered here, my partner went to pick up. Both times he returned stating that the staff were rude, sarcastic, even mocking when he asked for a side of pizza sauce vs bolognese (I'm vegetarian so that's important!). I had him bring me a Caesar salad once, which are usually made with fresh chopped romaine. The last one was soggy, sad ice berg lettuce (ew). The attitudes are just off-putting here, and the food 100% matches that attitude. We tried again tonight... and 3 times was not the charm. This time I called it in, and asked for a simple addition of jalapeños on top of our cheesy breadsticks. Who knew that could be such a complicated addition! I was met with a "no, but we can give you a side of jalapeños." I'm good, thanks...? It seems petty for me to be this annoyed about it, yet how petty is it that they couldn't just put them on top. Our North Fork people didn't seem to have a problem spending an extra 5 seconds to accommodate this request. Whatever, It's fine, I shrugged it off. We picked up our food tonight and the staff were average enough. The young lady that rung up our order was nice enough, but somewhat dismissive and seemed distracted. All good, I'm hungry so let's just get to the part where I pay and you give me my food. So we got our order. No offer for plates, pepper flakes, or Parmesan (lame, at this point I don't even care I just want to leave). We got home and the food just wasn't good. Don't get me wrong, chain restaurants aren't going to produce the same quality as say, a passionate mom-pop establishment. This definitely ain't a NYC pizza shop, and I know this. But dang, for a $40 purchase consisting of a calzone, cheesy breadsticks, and a mini pizza, can you at least make it taste like some effort was put into it? My calzone was soggy (I ordered veggie, so they threw 6inch long raw onions and giant bell peppers in there so all the water cooked into the dough), and the mini pizza was nothing exciting - but apparently was good enough. The cheesy breadsticks almost tasted stale - the dough was chewy/tough and the cheese was already congealed/solid despite us picking up on time. All in all - we're locals and after this third try, we both decided this was it. And we're really not that hard to please. What a waste of money and a bummer! I want my empty carbs to at least taste good. Would rather take my business 25 mins away to North Fork. Or just go to Round Table. read more

Friday night is obviously a challenging for this place. I don't typically leave reviews (either good or bad) unless I'm really impressed or really disappointed. Sorry Pizza Factory, today is not your day. Over an hour to get our dine-in order of one medium pizza and one custom calzone. To be fair I was originally given a 25-30 minute expectation timeframe. When I inquired at the 45 minute mark, I was barked at: "We're working on it" The calzone came out at the 1 hour mark and it was luke warm. When my wife asked about the status of the pizza, she was told: "It's in the oven" The counter help refused to admit that our order was forgotten about and made it seem as if we were being unreasonable for asking about the pizza. Only after engaging with the owners (who happened to be dining with a large party) did the pizza finally come out. The owner did offer to refund the cost of the pizza, which I did initially ask her to do. Overall, Pizza Factory did not impress and we will not be visiting this particular establishment again.
