Me and my 3 friends made this our first stop driving in from NorCal and SoCal. Their Bigfoot burrito was SO good and filling. It was exactly what I needed before going into Yosemite National park! I was recently in town with a group of friends and on our way out Sunday morning, we wanted to dine in and have breakfast. We noticed a few places in the area were not open or open late on Sundays. It was about 9:30 AM. We came across. Bigfoot Bakery and Grill because of their large banner that read they were open. They seem to be a new establishment. We returned in and parked in their lot. The place was bright and inviting. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they have an actual café inside with a nook to have your coffee and a small pastry. Some of us were disappointed that their barista was not in and so we were not able to order any drinks other than black coffee. I did order a tiramisu cake muffin, but it was not great. It did not taste like tiramisu. They have a separate counter where you order your food. They have breakfast, sandwiches and hamburgers. Everyone ordered from pancakes to basic breakfast combo to burritos order the egg and ham breakfast sandwich with avocado in it. Everyone enjoyed their food. However, we didn't notice that they do not have some condiments that our table asked for such as spicy salsa. Another guest of ours, didn't realize that the basic breakfast did not come with any protein. Also, another thing I noticed is that they carry no pork bacon. Their whole menu only offers turkey bacon. I really enjoyed my egg and ham sandwich. I asked them to add avocado. It was made perfect and they were very generous with the avocado. Food was good, large serving. The female cashier up front was very friendly, attentive and accommodating. We arrived past 11am and thankfully the cook was accommodating enough to allow for a breakfast item to be made. There was this male worker, who I'm assuming was either the manager or owner who did not seem friendly. I saw him just hanging out in the corner couch area, would go back and forth to the back and check on certain food items in the oven. At some point while I was purchasing food, he was standing there looking at me, I smiled and he just turned away. Based on the other reviews it seems as though they've had a similar experience with him. As a business owner myself, customer service is paramount. I've been to many small mom and pop shops to larger more developed establishments where the friendly presence of a manager/owner would make or break the experience. Unfortunately you can just tell this guy's vibe was off. Would likely not return here just because of this experience. read more

On our early travels out of camping for the weekend, the family was hungry and we needed to get some food into us before a long journey back to the Bay Area. Bigfoot Bakery & Grill seemed to be the perfect stop- it's right off the main road going home, is open and looked to offer quick service. We didn't want to spend too much downtime at a restaurant and Bigfoot Bakery & Grill didn't disappoint. From ordering to receiving food, it was only a few short minutes. This restaurant is a hybrid of sandwiches, breakfast items and baked goods; muffins, cookies, bagels, yogurt, etc. Drip coffee is located near the back of the baked areas and is available in small & large. I had the blueberry bagel with light cream cheese. It was basic but good- put something in my stomach without feeling heavy or regretful for the multi-hour drive ahead of me! The restaurant is nice and clean- they have a cute & cozy seating area in the back corner consisting of couches and a nice backdrop. The rest of the area is filled with tables and chairs. The service was nice, friendly and prompt. The single cashier/waitress was very accommodating and attentive. The rest of my party didn't particularly like their food- if I had to put it one way, it's 'fast food'. Large, greasy portions of food that is focused on potatoes and cheese. If you enjoy big portions and food that is focused more on quantity than quality, you'll really enjoy it here. read more

Stopped by Bigfoot bakery and grill because I heard they have some good burgers. I have to say they did not disappoint. Order their Bigfoot special they added a sauce to it which tasted great and I especially liked the way they seasoned the burgers. I also order the Cajun chicken sandwich which had the perfect amount of heat to it. All around the food was great. I would also like to give a shoutout to the cashier whose name is Brodie. He was a very nice guy instantly when we walked it he had a smile on his face and was very nice. This place is new and I hope nothing but the best for the restaurant and the staff. My husband remembers the original Big Foot Burgers and so or family had to try this place. The people working there, from the front to the grill to the owner were terrific!! A family member had allergies and the cook came up to us to ask which allergy so he could prepare the grill correctly. We had the Philadelphia cheese sandwich with was delicious!! Another family member had the chicken sandwich. He said his was also amazing!! The potato wedges were crispy and hot! Went twice in the same week. First time had the surf and turf sandwich, it came with fries, and was soo delicious, and alot of food, I couldn't finish it all! The owner was there, very nice, gave us a sample brownie to try, and it was also delicious! Then again im a sucker for chocolate! I went to the Dennys looking for a sit down breakfast where I could look at the menu and order. I came here expecting that but realized it was a fast food order at the counter joint. I asked for a capuchino and she said they didn't have milk. I looked to my left and saw milk in the frig next to me, she said they don't use that milk only for sale out of the frig. I asked for cheese in my eggs and she said they only offer cheese in the burritos, I said that ridiculous. They served my pancakes on paper in a basket. When I asked for a plate she handed me more paper and I said I have never seen pancakes served on paper in a basket. She said to use the paper because it was easier for her to clean. I finally checked this place out. I travel with my dog all the time. It was a pleasant surprise that they are pet friendly I look for these places because my girl goes everywhere with me. The food was good I had a burger. They made a patty for my baby and she loved it. The owner even brought her a little treat. So good food so far and will be back to try other items. Hmmm. Really cute idea but the execution is sorely lacking. We went in a little after 10am on a Sunday. I was excited to see a cute little nook with couches we could cozy up in and drink coffee and chat. Very sweet girl working there, but when we wanted to order coffee (as most people do in the mornings) she said "our barista isn't in for about another hour". We said ok and left without getting anything, but as we got out to the car I asked my husband "no one trained her how to make coffee for people?" What an odd business model. You have employees working who you are paying but they are incapable of performing the jobs that serve your customers... I'd love to be able to give this place a try again in the future, but if this is how it's going now I doubt it will be in business next time I'm here. Welcome addition to Oakhurst's informal dining experiences. My family and I stopped here for brunch on Sunday 8/2/26 and we're happy with what we found. About time somebody converted the old Burger King into something more unique and enjoyable. While Burger King was designed for mechanized crowd feeding, this family-owned business has repurposed the sterile fast food facility into a restaurant that is clean and bright but also comfortable and welcoming, especially if you have young children with you. They offer satisfying "Po' Boy" sandwiches that tied us over until dinner time The staff is friendly and attentive. They've added a proper coffee bar and a great selection of pastries. It's easy to find them in the middle of Oakhurst, the west side of 41 north of 49, right next to the Historic Oakhurst cemetery, which itself is a fine place to let little kids run around and stretch their legs before lunch. All three generations of our family left feeling contained and happy to return again. read more

Honestly, 5-stars just for the customer service. The guy serving us was SO friendly and you could tell he was just genuinely KIND and stoked to serve us the food he was clearly proud of. We ordered the basic burgers, which seemed to be made from scratch and were well seasoned. The potato wedges were hot and crispy and well seasoned too! The bakery/grill itself looked like a converted fast food joint, like an old Carls Jr or something repurposed. A little odd, but the vibes were high coming from the top down. It's an establishment I hope makes it. Good took a long time to come out. The burger was totally overdone and came with a burger and bun only for same price as a cheeseburger. My father in law ordered the cheeseburger regular and it came out overdone with a burger and bun and no cheese or anything else. The sandwich we got was dry and small (roast beef) and the pricing was sky high. Atmosphere was that of a jack in the box or fast food. Overpriced fast food that isn't even good. We're from So Cal vacationing at Yosemite and ran into this quaint spot on our to Bass Lake. I LOVE all things Bigfoot, and you don't have to say bakery twice to get my attention, so...we took a chance! Out food was delicious, fresh, and filling. My wife's order took a little longer than the rest of ours, so the manager apologized profusely and gave us a complimentary cookie from their bakery to make things right, which we all thought was a classy move Stuffed as we were after our meals, we just HAD to get a pastry, so we did, and the were every bit as amazing as they looked. Bigfoot bakery is okay. The first time we went in they were very unprepared for customers. The baker was awesome and made an "Inside Out Chocolate Cookie." I found she has since quit. The owner just wandered around. I haven't has any food there yet and probably won't due to the fact that they are pet friendly. I love Fido as much as you do but how can you be a pet friendly restaurant when you don't have outdoor seating. I do not want pet hair floating over to my food. Vibe is chill. We tried the Jalapeño Burger. It was decent. The potato wedges it came with were very good. We would like to try a lettuce/cabbage wrapped burger and cheese steak sandwhich next. They have a wide selection of pastries that speaks to current trends, like the Dubai chocolate cake, but we didn't get a chance to try that this time around. We did try the cheesecake, which IMO is also the best this area offers. Also really liked their peanut butter cookie. Our kids liked the macaroons, too.
