We've been coming here regularly for the past two weeks, and it has quickly become one of our favorite spots. My boyfriend and I work remotely and travel around the country full-time, so finding places like this that genuinely make us feel at home means so much to us. BJ is always so welcoming, and today we had the pleasure of meeting his son, Birk. You can really tell this is a family business that cares deeply about its customers and the community they've built. The coffee is consistently excellent, and we've tried several of their food options--everything has been delicious. Today they even surprised us with a box of fresh cinnamon rolls to take home, which was such an incredibly thoughtful and generous gesture. We also love that they showcase and support local artists, giving the café a unique charm and making it feel like a true gathering place for the community. Cute breakfast spot with must-order cinnamon rolls! I stopped by here with my husband on the way home from our Yosemite trip. We found parking across the street. Inside, you're greeted with the delicious smell of their cinnamon rolls and a bright, cozy atmosphere. Here's what we ordered: * Almond butter toast with bananas and chia seeds, $7.70 - I didn't try it, but my husband enjoyed it. He said it was filling and tasty. * Chia pudding, $9.60 - Loose texture but big serving. Not bad. Good if you're craving something lighter to eat for breakfast. * Smoothie, $7.70 - Tasted like it had real fruit, but tasted a little watered down. * The works cinnamon roll, $11.50 - So delicious! Fluffy, sweet, and served warm. * Acai bowl/smoothie bowl, $9.60 - Large bowl with a good amount of acai sorbet. I enjoyed it. * Black coffee, $2.90 - Perfect paired with the cinnamon roll. Was served hot but not too hot. * Orange almond pastry of the day, $3.90 - Not too sweet and had a nice orange touch, but wish it was more flaky like a scone. I found it a little dense. After tax and tip, we paid a total of $63.53. Although there were some parts of the food we ordered that we didn't enjoy, overall we did enjoy our meal. Service was very friendly and welcoming. Seating was comfortable and there was a nice clean bathroom in the back. Looking at the local art for sale was fun too. I would give a rating of 4.5 but rounded up to 5 stars. I decided to visit CinnamonRoll Bakery Café on 5th Street. This place was easy to find - on a side street right off the main stretch. Parking: Parking close to the eatery was a bear. I had to drive down the slope and up again, and finally found parking on the main street. Parking is free so that's a plus. (3.75 of 5) Storefront: The storefront speaks for itself - Cinnamon Rolls. It shows you what their specialty is. One table with a couple of chairs was placed right before you enter the shop. I thought that was cute. (4 of 5) Interior: Inside is open and clean. There are lots of artwork and trinkets to check out while you're waiting for your food. A tiny stage-like platform stood in one corner. I'm guessing they have life music on certain days. There is also a stairway that leads to upstairs seating but I did not check that out. (4 of 5) Service: I find the service encompasses a customer's experience - the greeting was warm and friendly. Placing my order was easy. Fyi, you get a discount for paying in cash. (5 of 5) Food: My order of two cinnamon rolls looked appetizing. When I got home - about 45-minutes later, the rolls were still intact. The spiral shape rolls maintained its shape. Both the rolls are pillowy, soft, and buttery in texture, and not overly sweet. Personally, I prefer the roll topped with nuts but without the glaze. The nuts tasted fresh and crunchy. Overall, these rolls were a 4.5 of 5. I'm not sure how cinnamon roll can be in the name of a business with such a mediocre cinnamon roll. It was hard and paid $2 extra for cream cheese frosting which was cold and liquid.....how much cream cheese was in the frosting? Additionally charging extra for something that all cinnamon rolls should come with is crazy. Make a good cinnamon roll and charge $10- not adding extras that do nothing to help a hard semi cold roll. Avocado toast- by definition should have more avocado than any other ingredient, while the toast has a good flavor there was a smear of avocado with other toppings. Their egg is frozen prefab- thankfully I didn't order it, the bacon bits in the egg would have been ideal. Hubs liked his chai freeze. Found this place our first night up here on our way to our valentines weekend in Yosemite and was really curious about trying it maybe in our way back. Finally stopped in and so glad we did. Great service! They are a fun and kind bunch. They cinnamon really are amazing!! Specially when they are just coming out of the oven. These aren't overly sweet and big enough to share. We came on a Sunday afternoon in May and there weren't too many people so it was a great spot to relax before heading back home. The staff here was super friendly. We ordered an iced vanilla latte, iced caramel latte, avocado toast with egg and breakfast Sammie. The food and drinks came out quick. I liked the latte because it was not overly sweet and hit the spot. The Sammie and avocado toast were equally as great. I was super happy with the portion sizes. I'll definitely have to get a cinnamon roll next time. They have cute little things for sale from local artists inside the shop as well as local honey and tea. These are by far THE best cinnamon rolls I have ever had. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location itself is great, it is 2 seconds away from our Airbnb and is so cute inside and out. I wish they made the artwork on their pay pad as a sticker because it is gorgeous! It's similar to the one they have with their name logo but a lot more artsy and without the name logo. Still highly suggest they create those stickers because I would have bought a few. So back to the rolls!!! I got the Cinnamon Toast Crunch and holy moly. It was soft, and buttery tasting, with the perfect amount of cinnamon and frosting ratio. I am still thinking about it! The cinnamon roll was not too sweet the frosting was light and not too thick- maybe like a cream cheese flavor to it instead of cake frosting-which I really liked! I added frosting and walnuts to mine and 10/10 would recommend! My coffee was a little watered down and my boyfriend's smoothie tasted a little artificial. Service was great they were fast and very friendly! And there's an art gallery for local artists with things for sale inside which was cool! Lots of things to look at! The sandwich was good but was on a cheap grocery store bagel, my husband says his cinnamon roll was a little too hard with the thick sugar glaze that hardened. And the lattes were average. Overall the interior was very cute and cozy, however there were some questionable things to do with overall cleanliness. It's located on the side street, so not immediately visible when you walk main street, but it's worth finding it. We ordered couple of sandwiches and still warm cinnamon roll. My almond butter, banana and hemp seed sandwich was delicious. I asked for no honey to make it vegan and sprinkled some cinnamon on top of it and drizzled with agave which were available on the side table. Plenty of almond butter, bananas and walnuts. I was really full and satisfied. Hubby got the breakfasts Sammie and cinnamon roll with walnuts and he also enjoyed them both. Coffe was good but the matcha was not not. Very bitter. Swung by on a Sunday morning at 8 am before we heading to our flight back home. We initially wanted to get it when we first got to Mariposa on Wednesday afternoon but there was a sign on their door saying they were closed at 2 pm (they were supposed to close that day at 4 pm per google). The inside is really cute and there is lots of local artwork and pieces to look at on the walls and shelves. There were a few bugs flying around that we had to constantly swat away. Took awhile to get our cinnamon rolls but that's to be expected when they're made fresh. The classic cinnamon roll with cream cheese frosting and maple bacon cinnamon roll were both delicious. Heavy on the sugar and incredibly filling. Feel like the presentation could be a little prettier but I do appreciate how generous they are with the frosting. Wouldn't say it was the best cinnamon roll I've ever had but it is quite high up there quality wise. read more

I ended up getting the most popular per great worker, cinnamon bacon cinnamon roll and for the iced and nut rolls. I also ordered a large lavender latte with almond milk. What a great hidden treasure. Best turkey pesto panini I've had, and that's my go to whenever available. I live in the Napa Valley and have had "gourmet" paninis. But none compared to here. My husband and I stopped by Cinnamon Roll Bakery and Cafe on the last day of our trip to Yosemite National Park. When we walked in, we were immediately surprised by how welcoming the atmosphere was. There were lots of shelves with candles, books, and other trinkets from local businesses, and the cafe was decorated to give an overall very homey feel. We ordered two hazelnut lattes, and the young boy who took our order was nice and efficient. It seemed to be a family-owned and family-run business, which we were very happy to support. The wait for the lattes wasn't long at all and while we waited, we took a look around the cafe. There were so many things to look at and even an easel with a sign that invited people to add paint to the canvas sitting on it. The hazelnut lattes were really good and much better than any coffee you can get at any chain coffee place. Drinking it made me feel so cozy and warm. I felt like it was well worth the price too--very fair. If I'm in Mariposa again, I'll definitely be stopping by again! read more

The folks are very nice and the cinnamon rolls are fabulous. They offer other tempting baked goods, such as some incredible-looking chocolate chip cookies, along with sandwiches and other treats, but all I had was cinnamon rolls, which satisfied my cravings extremely well. Again, super-nice staff and if the rest of the offerings are as good as the cinnamon rolls, I'm sure they will not disappoint. Pretty much any art you see has a price tag on it so if ya like it, you can buy it. There are some tables, chairs, and couches downstairs to sit and enjoy your meal.
