Large White Rose Frappe w/whip cream YUM!!

If you are in our beautiful town make sure to stop at the coffee shop!! Conveniently located next to the visitor center. SKIP the big corporation, I know the drive thru is tempting, but don't make the mistake of driving all the way up the hill to settle for less. The quality of coffee, fast service and personal guest experience is worth it! They have so many flavors to choose from! Also snacks to go with your drink like bagels, muffins, cookies, banana bread and more. If you are out of town, state or even the country make sure you check out their map on the wall and ask for a pin to put where you are from it's awesome to see that so many people from around the world have visited this small town coffee shop. Don't miss out, check them out

Milky Way frappe and caramel frappe

The coffee here is beyond amazing. Wish I was a local who could try the full menu. Would definitely recommend this place without hesitation. I had the Milky Way frappe and the zebra in a tuxedo frappe and loved them both. My fiancé had a caramel frappe and also loved it. The service was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the overall vibe of this place and will definitely be returning next time I'm in Mariposa.

Everyone is very friendly and the coffee is delicious! We got a mocha and a toffee latte and they didn't disappoint.

Rasperry Mocha Frappe

Great place to stop for amazing coffee. The drinks are consistently good whether I'm in the mood for a frappe or iced coffee. The kids love their smoothies too.

Excellent coffee and great service. Both my sister and I had delicious lattes here and the barista was super friendly.

Found this place our first night up here on our way to our valentines weekend in Yosemite and was…read morereally curious about trying it maybe in our way back. Finally stopped in and so glad we did. Amazed by the taste and quality of this place. Simple breakfast and coffee drinks for a journey home and a great place to sit and catch a break. Cashiers were tentative and friendly and hospitable! Thank you for serving us. Looking forward to the next time we come in.

CinnamonRoll Bakery Café, Mariposa: 2026 Apr 1 (4.25 of 5)…read more My appointment in Mariposa ended early enough for me to check out several of the eateries in Mariposa. I decided to visit CinnamonRoll Bakery Café on 5th Street. This place was easy to find - on a side street right off the main stretch. Parking: Parking close to the eatery was a bear. I had to drive down the slope and up again, and finally found parking on the main street. Parking is free so that's a plus. (3.75 of 5) Storefront: The storefront speaks for itself - Cinnamon Rolls. It shows you what their specialty is. One table with a couple of chairs was placed right before you enter the shop. I thought that was cute. (4 of 5) Interior: Inside is open and clean. There are lots of artwork and trinkets to check out while you're waiting for your food. A tiny stage-like platform stood in one corner. I'm guessing they have life music on certain days. There is also a stairway that leads to upstairs seating but I did not check that out. (4 of 5) Service: I find the service encompasses a customer's experience - the greeting was warm and friendly. Placing my order was easy. Fyi, you get a discount for paying in cash. (5 of 5) Food: My order of two cinnamon rolls looked appetizing. When I got home - about 45-minutes later, the rolls were still intact. The spiral shape rolls maintained its shape. Both the rolls are pillowy, soft, and buttery in texture, and not overly sweet. Personally, I prefer the roll topped with nuts but without the glaze. The nuts tasted fresh and crunchy. Overall, these rolls were a 4.5 of 5. I was taking some snapshots outside when one of the staff walked out. I asked if I could take an image of him outside the store for social media. He said I could. His name is Burke (sic).

Sticks Coffee, Mariposa: 2026 May 19 (5 of 5)…read more Tucked behind tall shrubs along a short alleyway is a secret door to a little coffee shop. My observations alerted me to a communal yet cozy setting, with shared table and comfortable benches. This establishment feels magical to me. The floor is clean and the wooden tables and benches are inviting. I noticed that they have regular customers, as one after another, the customers were greeted by name with hugs and big smiles. Savanna (sic) greeted me and took my orders: small latte & ricotta + egg toast. My Ricotta + egg toast was delicious and the presentation was nicely done. The ingredients looked simple and the herbs tasted fresh and clean. The dish was perfectly seasoned. I tasted a little 'heat' at the back of my throat, but that's something I can handle. I even enjoyed the green sauce over the top. LOL! My order of latte was smooth and creamy. No sugar needed here. The creamy milk did its job. Savanna made my coffee after taking the order, and I complimented her on the delicious coffee. Would I go back? You betcha! And I'll bring my friends. Note: There's seating outdoors as well for those who bring their four-legged family members

For lunch, we ordered the Lox Toast and Za'atar Chicken Sandwich. I got a lightly dressed side salad added for $3. The Lox Toast was yummy. I was just a bit disappointed at the side salad. I don't think it was worth the $3 for a tiny box. The chicken sandwich was good and included chips. Not a bad place to stop by on the way to Yosemite.

We parked right at the front with the gravel and got our names put down for two people. The hostess was very nice and gave us a buzzer for when our table would be ready. It took no more than 5 minutes before it buzzed and we got in. The restaurant itself is very cozy and decorated well. We sat at a table that used hanging doors as dividers, which we thought was a neat idea. The lighting was nice, not too bright but also not super dim. Our server told us about some specials and also recommended a few different meals. We took up her offer on fries and went with that. Even though it technically was a shareable, it was a huge serving! The fries were perfectly crunchy with a soft interior. The steak was also really juicy and tender, not too chewy at all. The sauces and cheese mixed in with the fries were also the perfect balance of salty, crunchy goodness. The salmon was deliciously soft and moist. They paired very nicely with the creamy mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. We worked together to just barely finished the salmon and take most of the steak and fries home for leftovers. If you are in the area, I definitely recommend this spot! The quality and amount of food makes the price worth it. If we're ever visiting the area again, we'll definitely stop by 1850!

A special thank you to Sheila, who was not even our server but kept checking on us, answering questions, and making us feel welcome. I honestly thought she might be an owner because she cared that much. The over all atmosphere was welcoming and like everyone knew you or was willing to get to know you. I had the Steak House Burger and could only eat half because it was huge. My girlfriend had the 1850 Fries loaded with steak, cheese, parmesan, garlic, and more, and they were amazing. You simply must eat here. I also included a photo with Sheila and my friend Kevin who also had joined us for the meal.
