A slice of peach pie that I'll be dreaming of for weeks to come.
Caroline K.

Within minutes of arriving in Yosemite, my nose led me to this majestic pie place. I'm not the biggest fan of fruit pies, but I was interested in trying out the peach pie... and boy, I don't think I'll ever have a pie that will top that for the rest of my life. I arrived minutes before they closed and didn't want to be one of those straggling customers, but the woman who warmly greeted me made me feel at ease. She didn't rush me, and she walked me through what options were left at that hour. She was incredibly kind. If you're in the area, you have to pop in and snag a slice (or like 5) because that's what I intend on doing when I return!

Apple Crumb Pie.

Yosemite Pie Company has been in business since the new year and doing great! I went in Friday before Easter and they were sold out. They did have some individual bags of "Grandma Kipp's chocolate chip cookies" (2 in a package) which I bought and went home. When we finally got into these cookies we all looked at each other rolling our eyes and said in unison, OMG these are amazing! We went back today and to our delight there were pies. We purchased a Apple Crumb Pie. We ate dinner quickly just so we could have dessert. The first thing you notice is this delicious aroma of apple pie. Next, you notice the thick crust and crumble topping. As I cut into pie, it was thick and soft (my favorite) and apples stayed in place. I hate it when all the filling falls off the crust. We were advised to heat a slice and add some vanilla ice cream which we did. Me personally I like my pie room temperature and what I realized is there is no wrong way to eat this pie. First bite was heaven. I laughed at myself for cutting such a small slice and promised myself tomorrow's slice will definitely be bigger! YPC has whole pies and slices. They have mini pies and other baked goods. They have your year-round flavors; Apple, Blueberry, Mountain Berry, Raspberry and Triple Berry. Seasonal flavors are Cherry and Peach. Everything is made with wholesome quality ingredients not to mention love and butter. I think that just might be their secret ingredient because pastries made this good in my opinion are made with love which makes everything you bake delicious. Pies are about $30 and worth every penny. Now if you think that's too much money and can buy a Mrs Smith's at Vons for $10 just remember this... you're getting a store bought frozen pie that tastes like a $10 pie. For me, I'm happy to pay more for quality and taste and get something you can't wait to eat again or serve my family and friends than a store bought pie that says I didn't have time or care enough to give you the best. I say this often but it holds true...you get what you pay for and Yosemite Pie Company is the real deal!

Boysenberry Pie

Yosemite Pie Company is the best pie in Oakhurst! We stopped in for two slices of boysenberry pie with scoops of vanilla ice cream--and it was so good we bought an entire triple berry pie as a gift for family! The pies are freshly made (baked daily), and taste just about as homemade as you can get! There are even a few bistro tables out front where you can enjoy your slice on the spot. The shop is owned by a wonderful local couple (sweet, just like their pies) with friendly service. The experience was a perfect small-town treat! Plus they're located right next to Vons, so it was super convenient to stop by after grocery shopping. Whether you're passing through on the way to Yosemite, or local to Oakhurst, highly recommend getting a treat at this wonderful pie shop!

I got a triple berry pie and it was delicious. It was like a home baked pie. The sweetness was just right.

We got a breakfast burrito, ginger cookie, a coffee, and fresh squeezed orange juice to go. The burrito was simple but delicious. The cookie was really good - maybe one of the best ginger snap cookies I've had. The staff here were very nice and courteous and food came out fairly quickly. There's a lot of space for seating with cute retro decorations. We enjoyed our experience and came back for lunch the next day!

Not sure who the manager is but I don't see a lot of managing the line occurring. We went the next day because the other bakery i. Town served stale blueberry muffins and the barrister wasn't working. This time at Bees, there was no line. But it still took more than ten minutes to get our cappuccino. The cheese Danish were made from puff pastry sheets that are sold frozen and they were filled with a tasty but sparse cheese filling. I went from three stars to two. Not worth the price (2 danish and 2 large cappuccino ($22)

I had a cappuccino with half and half and lavender syrup, and it was delicious perfectly made, with a really nice flavor and aroma. Unfortunately, the quality was far below expectations. The coffee had a noticeably salty, unpleasant taste, and the matcha was extremely bitter with no trace of vanilla at all. We order this same drink regularly at other cafés, so we know what it should taste like--this was not it at all. It was also far too strong for a child, despite specifically asking for it to be kid-friendly. When I politely brought this up, I was surprised by how it was handled. I simply asked to add a little vanilla for it to taste better. Instead of offering to remake the drink or find a solution, I was told I would need to purchase a new one. I rarely ever ask for drinks to be redone, but this one was genuinely undrinkable. What made the situation worse was the attitude of the staff. The response felt dismissive and unprofessional, particularly from an employee named DJ. The interaction left us feeling unwelcome and unheard. Overall, poor quality drinks and disappointing customer service. We won't be returning.

We looked up Smokehouse 41 and were sold on ordering The Mammoth, which says it feeds 4 to 6 but happily I can say that, and fed eight of us with a little leftover. Unfortunately, they do not take phone orders, but I can understand - now that we arrived in person to purchase our order for takeout. It's a lot of food to be ordered and a risk should the customer not pick it up. Also, there was a long line when we arrived, the parking was full, and the outside and inside dining were pretty full as well. Although the line was long to place our order as it's made to go in front of you, it went pretty quickly. They have a great set up and they know how to move the line quickly. It can be very tough dealing with a lot of tourist, new customers who do not know what they want, but I think that the employees here did an amazing job, especially the man that cuts the meat at the front stop, and the checkout employees at the register were also very friendly. Now let me tell you, we got a full rack of ribs, half pound of pulled pork, half pound of tri-tip, half pound of chicken, half pound of sausage and a half pound of brisket. You get six rolls and two large sides and when I say large, I mean jumbo sides. We ordered the barbecue baked beans with meat, and they are generous about it, we ordered the macaroni and cheese with bacon and again very generous on the bacon. At the end of the line, close to the cashier, I asked if they can make sure we had all the condiments, including barbecue sauces we needed to go. I was so surprised when they opened up the box of our order and everything was neatly packed in a large box with all the condiments, and they were generous with those as well, including butter for the rolls and different types of barbecue sauces. They gave us paper plates as well. Everything was packed so well! This place was really cool, they had plenty of customers dining inside and outside. They had an employee monitoring the inside dining hall, and making sure everything was cleaned, and when customers left the table, quickly went into turn the table over. I will say that this establishment, especially being in a high traffic tourist area, did an amazing job! Food was incredible! My favorite was the ribs and the sausage. But the pulled pork was also delicious! I have to give the food and service five stars all the way around! Bravo to this place!
