This was the first BIG store to come to Oakhurst. It has everything you could want and it's run more like a big city store. They have a beautiful floral department so if you find yourself coming home from Yosemite and you need flowers, stop here. I have to give big kudos to the pharmacy here because I ran all over Oakhurst looking for a syringe and was given the evil eye by most pharmacy counters (they thought I wanted to do drugs or something) until I came here where the pharmacist was kind enough to give (as in FREE) a liquid medicine syringe to me. The syringe needed to be 1 ml for a medicine dosing for a very small child. read more

This is the nicest Raley's that I have been to. It is huge. The prices are great. The store is super clean. Produce selection is massive. If you are looking for groceries for the day or the week while staying in the Oakhurst/Bass Lake area make sure you come here. What did I learn today? Open late. read more

Worst customer service ever and Racist vibes. My family and I were on a mini vacation here as I'm sure many others are in this area. We came in to grab a few things, one of those being a 12pk of white claws. Lines are long so my daughter and I decide to try self check out. An employee by the name of "Grady" I believe, approaches me and says I can't do self check out because of the alcohol. Cool "put up a sign up", I say. As I'm walking away to get in another line, I see him walk over and clear another individual for alcohol in the self check out. We make eye contact and he is giving me very uncomfortable looks. It's Raley's. A normal Raley's grocery store that you would find anywhere. They were very friendly so I don't understand some of the reviews I had read. I did get the breakfast burritos from the deli. They did not heat them up long enough but the clerk was very friendly. read more

I don't understand why this store doesn't have a higher rating. I went to the other store (vons) that was rated higher based on the reviews and was totally disappointed. I decided to come to Raleys to see what options I might have here and found a much brighter, cleaner, healthier, less expensive and more variety selection. Coming from Florida where our favorite store is Publix maybe people don't know what a good grocery store is in this area. Raleys is definitely my choice. Minus a tiny customer service issue in the deli one day, this store was top-notch. Very clean very bright reasonable prices for the area. Lots of healthy, delicious options. And a wonderful organic section in the produce department. Definitely my go-to store and I put it in my Airbnb review too so other travelers will know. read more

Funny that I reviewed Vons, and now Raley's, when generally I ignore reviewing these kinds of places. I am doing so because I came to a realization that in a town like Oakhurst, (made up in the 1930s as a stopoff for supplies for Yosemite) all of your main supplies are here. Like the General stores of the past with even Peets Coffee, positioning itself within, Raley's caters both locals and tourists. Get anything and everything here... except a snowmobile. I did buy a bottle of REAL SANGRIA.. so odd.. in Oakhurst?!?!? Anyways.. with some added twisted orange cuties, half lime and half lemon and a chopped Rome Apple... served cold... wow.. Servers behind the Peets coffee providing me with no less than six shots of espresso.. thank you.. it help having that caffeine buzz twisting my way to the valley floor. read more

Customer service is solid Deals are cheap enough to justify shopping here, though still not nearly as good as Grocery Outlet Store is clean and well organized Beware of the parking as it can be a total cluster Otherwise good store. I love this Raley's :) they have a wonderful staff, excellent selection, and spectacular bakery. They have a wide selection of natural and organic foods and goods as well as first aid, some clothing, animal care and a deli. Peets' coffee inside has really good iced teas and coffee. We used to order our cakes from small, specialty bakeries, but out of a moment of desperation I got one for my birthday. It was amazing! I just got one for my son's first birthday and am so happy with how it turned out (again!). We shop here for everything now. read more

I love this Raley's and its a life-saver when staying in Oakhurst, or when driving through on your way to/from Yosemite. Love the layout of their store, and no matter what you are looking for, they have a fairly good selection. Whether you are looking for sweets, meat, cheeses, fruit or veggies or miscellaneous items, you will surely find it here. This past trip, we found ourselves here quite a few times during our week stay purchasing things like french bread, cheese, olive oil, and produce. The produce is always fresh and of good quality. Great supermarket! Very clean, surprisingly well stocked and organized, and really friendly staff. They have a Red Box too which is great when you don't want to go to The Met (theater). I'm only docking a star bc the Peets drink I ordered (matcha green tea latte) didn't taste right... but hey, at least they have a Peets! The coffee shop we wanted to visit was closed (Sunday) so Peets saved us when my hubby needed his AM coffee. read more

Roast beef and the pastrami looks delicious and very friendly service at the meat counter. I didn't catch her name but she's the beautiful red head with short hair and a very personable friendly disposition. But what's the point of having a discount reward system that provides no benefit at all? I don't have a card with them but my friend Steve, who was with me, does. He entered his number into the system for no affect at all. $97 worth of various food items from different departments including coffee sandwich meat creamer bread peanut butter jelly condiments etc. not one item was reduced in price. The deli has excellent food but I rarely go there because you have to wait so long. It doesn't matter how many people are working behind the counter, they don't make sure people get in and out. Lunch time is the worst, you will spend your whole lunch waiting for a sandwich. read more

Exactly as the reviews state: super rude and racist employees. All the employees were watching us as we walked in, which I found a bit strange but brushed it off. We came in tonight to buy a cake, and the employee (middle-aged white woman) behind the counter greeted the white customer next to us, asking how she could help him. He kindly told her we were waiting before him. She brusquely grumbled to us "What do you want". Already I sensed something was off about her. She grabbed the cake out of the display, knocking off the fruit on top of it. She kept her back to us when we brought this to her attention, ignoring what we had said. When asked if she could write happy birthday on it, she flat out said "no". This is all taking place with her back turned to us, mind you. We told her we wouldn't be needing the cake. As we're walking out, she's happily helping out the other customer. We went across the street to Von's and had a great experience. I felt much better about giving them my business. :) I've never loved Von's so much! read more

This is a good store to use during the pandemic, though the prices are somewhat high. They have a good selection. We can order online and they bring the groceries out to the car, which we appreciate. For the times we have to go into the store, I wish they would enforce a mask policy. read more

I've shopped here throughout the years whenever visiting Oakhurst. However, as of recent I have preferred shopping at Vons for a number of reasons - Prices and customer service. If I was in a hurry the prices did not bother me but they are more expensive than the other store in town. There isn't much I can say about that. The customer service is poor to say the least. I can't count how many times I've been ignored, given bad looks, and accused of stealing. There is nothing better than coming to Raleys on your half hour lunch break to be stopped in your tracks and interrogated about a hat you "took the tag off" of. I guess the manager found a stray tag floating around the aisle I walked down for 2 seconds to get to the other end of the store? Real smooth. I asked her to review the tapes. I'm in a hurry, didn't touch one of your unattractive hats, tell me what makes you think I'd remove a tag. She gave a condescending huff and walked away. That tells me something about your store. I have not returned, nor do I plan to. Stay away, shop at Vons where you will be treated like a valued customer. read more

Is Raley's in Oakhurst racist? I asked to use the restroom last Friday afternoon and they guy at the self-checkout said that they did not have a public restroom--yet when my 3 other Caucasian friends inquired about a restroom they were told that they could use the restroom. I shop Raleys all the time, i took my brother in law to get a sandwich, wich are the best in town, after waiting 8 minutes as the lady was making onevsandwich and bad mouthing some other lady, my bro decided on some chicken, also best in town, after the rude service there, he then asked the sanwich lady if there was any more ice, she replied rudely, "in the cafe" my bro who has never been there says " that way?" She says waving her arms " over there". But theres no ice over there, i said to my bro I like the place but i dont appreciate rude emloyees disrespecting my family that comes and visits from a great distance away. Vons you won! read more

This place was very nice. Reminds be of an updated Vons. I love Pete's coffee, so I was happy to see one when we walked in. They have a large selection of meats and cheeses, and a great selection of alcohol. We enjoyed stopping into some place new. read more

I have been coming to this Raley's since before there was a shopping center across the street with a the Von's in it. I have always liked the small-town feel of this grocery store while still being able to get everything you need. I also think the produce is fresher here. The employees are very friendly and always willing to help you find the hidden item...( butterskotch extract, rum extract...recipe for Harry Potter Butterbeer). The pharmacy is tops too. They can usually have a script filled while you shop. Oh..on checkout, whenever a small line starts to form, another check-stand is opened right away. read more

Deli food and service-SUPERB. Tasty, affordable, nice people. Now for the wine- don't buy it here! The normal price only applies to bottles of 6. I selected Granny Smith apples on sale at $ 1.79/lb. Obviously the sign caught my attention. At the register I told the cashier they were Granny Smith and she said they were coded Golden Delicious (at $ 2.49/lb). It turns out the product was not properly labeled in the store. Golden Delicious apples were put in the Granny Smith section, without changing the sign. Problem is this was not the first time this has happened. Whether they make a lot of mistakes or not, I don't like having to check every single thing I buy, not that most customers have the time to decipher codes on products and receipts. Parking at Raley's is also a problem. read more

I love Raleys' selection. They tend to have all the obscure "Health" foods that I'm looking for. Their prices are usually a bit more than Vons' but I think they have higher quality stuff. Friendly clerks, Peet's coffee corner. Great produce selection. read more
