Stopped by today since I saw that they were having a Demon Slayer pop-up (my weeb obsession). Upon entering, there was no Demon Slayer decor and I didn't see any type of signage for themed drinks as they were advertising - I won't hold that against them but I felt sort of duped so it's worth the mention. I ordered a tiger sugar milk tea with half boba and a wintermelon milk tea with boba for my son and I at the kiosk. When our drinks were ready, the employee called out the order and I walked over. Excited to get the complimentary Demon Slayer stickers, I asked her for the one I want and the one my son wanted. She started telling me that she can't do that because its only one sticker per order... confused I told her that I ordered two drinks (so two stickers). She just kind of looked at me and I asked what's the difference of me placing two separate orders for my two drinks compared to what it is right now. She had some attitude and said she will just go ahead and give it to me. Gee thanks.. Now for the drinks.. my wintermelon milk tea was nothing special, I wasn't impressed but it wasn't awful. In regards to the tiger sugar milk tea... I'm not sure what gave it this earthy/bitter taste but it was straight gross. Mid boba spot.. plenty of other places nearby that are better. The only nice thing is that they're open a little later on weekends. Went in Thursday night 45 minutes before closing and the staff looked pissed that we were there. She told us with some attitude that there wasn't any boba left because they closed in 45 minutes.. sort of implying we were being rude by being there close to closing.. which I understand if it was 5-10 minutes but almost a full hour before you close is kinda crazy. Not too sweet at 100% which is surprising. Boba is soft and chewy, I agree with other reviewers. A little pricey $5.70 after I joined the 5% membership option. But overall I'd say slightly better than some of the big chains (Gong Cha, etc.). Fast and friendly service. They have a top 10 drink list and I'd come back to try the taro cream cloud drink. I drove far to try this place because I love boba tea. I got the paradise tea, it was pineapple and strawberry. 30% sweet and less ice but there was no ice in it. The sweetness level was perfect. I thought drink was ok, I didn't like or hate it, just won't get it again because there are better boba places around. I'm just turned off by their service. The employees works with no sense of urgency. The customer before me took 20 mins to order then she didn't understand their reward system. I placed my order. A group of three girls came after me. Their drinks were made before me. I had already waited 20 mins after the first customer taking her time then waited more after the three drinks were made. I also got Vietnamese ice cream. The Vietnamese yogurt are not good and tasted more soy than yogurt. It didn't taste like Vietnamese yogurt. Hit up another Dallas boba spot during my prowl. The stats: insufficient boba to tea ratio, perfect spot to hang/use wifi, and Viet-run. When you pull up, it's on the side by LA Fitness. There's plenty of parking because it's located in a huge lot that houses a bunch of other shops and restaurants. Once you enter, the interior is cute and full of light. They have everything a student or "work at home" person needs in terms of wifi, various seating options and restrooms. The couch by the entrance is super comfy btw. It's a perfect spot to read and get your boba on. Onto the main event: their boba to tea ratio is like 1:100. If you're not into the chewy goodness from the bubble tea heavens, then Tocotoco might be your jam! I had their Three Heros MT because it has all the chewy things I love--egg pudding, grass jelly and boba. The toppings were all made to perfection. Getting the proper consistency for QQ toppings is difficult. Props to y'all. However, the toppings were so limited. I actually ended up drinking MT for the entire half of the boba tea because all of the toppings were finished. Sad day. The tea was a little on the sweeter side for me even with 0% sweetness. I'm pretty sure this is the only boba place in Plano that has the pandan bubble waffle. And to date it's the best pandan waffle I've ever had. Crispy outside and chewy flavorful inside. Comes out warm and sprinkled with coconut shavings. Yumm! You should know that the drinks are large size only! No such thing as a tall or a small, lol. So for my little one she split a drink with my older daughter and it worked out perfectly. Other unique treats are the venison jerky and this gourmet roasted rigatoni. Haven't tried those yet but totally going to get it next time. Tucked away at the edge of the feeder road off of George Bush, it's worth the find if you are in the area! TocoToco Boba Tea is probably the BEST milk tea and fruit tea I've had anywhere in Dallas. Period. No contest. Due to covid19, taking your drinks to go is highly encouraged and masks are required, but their shop is cute and I would love to hang out here once it is safe to do so later. We tried their Okinawa milk tea, oolong milk tea, tiger sugar milk tea, peach lemongrass tea, and paradise tea. The best part of this place is that everything can be customized to your liking. I'm personally a less ice, 30% sweetness level, and tapioca person no matter what drink I'm ordering. But between all the different drinks we tried, everything was consistently tasty despite their unique options. Our #1 favorite though was their peach lemongrass tea, this drink was amazing! You could actually taste the unique balance of peach and lemongrass perfectly. My group of friends was helping our other friend move to a new apartment in Dallas, but the majority of us came to visit from Houston. Tea itself isn't bad but not as good as gong cha. If I would I would've given ZERO stars. My issue is with the boba itself. Boba was SEVERELY undercooked. When bitten in half you can feel the grittiness inside. I literally had to take out the boba and recook it at home Also if you don't want any ice they give you a smaller size. So cheap. This is an awesome Boba place! They have a great selection of drinks and the staff was really nice. I had a passion fruit tea with lychee jelly! My drink was really good and it was done really fast! The inside is really spacious with lots of tables to work/study at. They also have a printer that you can use, but you need to follow the steps in order to use it. On our quest trying to fin our togo Boba place we have been venturing out to Frisco, Carrollton and Plano. When I yelp for a boba place closer to our home as we just wanted a quick drink after dinner I came along TocoToco and even thought it's not close we had to get the kids ready and go out! As their menu and pictures of their drink just made me intrigued wanting to try their drinks. One of our favorite boba place back in CA used to offer cream cheese topping and I was excited to see that TocoToco offers it as well. Also I was thankful to see that they have some healthier options for children other than slushies such as strawberry milk (made with fresh strawberries). The kids loved their strawberry milk and hong kong waffles. It was a perfect match (sweet drinks with fluffy soft waffles). Hubby and I ordered their signature drink Tiger Sugar Milk Drink. I added red bean and crem cheese topping. If y'all ever wonder how the cream cheese topping taste with your milk tea (think like salted caramel coffee). Salty, sweet and it goes well with your tea flavor! Just highly recommend to shake your drink well, otherwise you'll drink just the cream cheese topping which is a little salty and thick! But once well mixed it's just pure joy (dessert and drink in one!) I opted for 30 percent sweetness and it was perfect with all the extra adds on I ordered. The price might be a little on the higher side compare to other boba places but for the quality of drinks, totally worth it. Also they have a special if you order 5 the 6th is free! If y'all just stop by as a large group. We are a family of 5 so there was no need for an extra drink for us! 5 stars all the way! Amazing drink! Friendly staff! TocoToco is a popular Vietnamese boba chain in HCMC. I literally see it everywhere in Viet Nam so I knew I would have to try them when they open here in Plano. Now I would have to say Feng Cha and TocoToco are my top boba places! I'm so in love with their signature Macchiato Tiger Sugar with milk tea + boba! The cream on top was creamy and a bit salty which create a perfect combination with their milk tea and chewy boba. 100% would get again. I also highly recommend their Hong Kong Waffle with the famous boba ice cream! Their waffle is 10000% better than the one Gong Cha offer (sorry opps) and the boba ice cream bar is so good! Solid bubble tea option in the DFW area. It's in a nondescript location in a strip mall, but don't let that be reason for dismissal. Nit: I really don't like boba places that say 50% is their normal sweetness. Like what's that even mean? Shouldn't that just be 100%? Anyways, we got our drinks (oolong, tiger sugar, okinawa milk tea) all at 50% sweet and that's the sweet spot so to speak. Good tea flavor, creamy drink and not too sweet. I don't recommend the okinawa at half sweet as you lose out on a lot of the flavor that okinawa is known for, but the other drinks were good, especially the tiger sugar. After reviewing the menu for five minutes, we choose a variety of drinks: Tiger Sugar with Fresh Milk, Mango Green Tea, Mable Coffee, and Matcha Red Bean. My favorite was the mango green tea. This is the only boba place I've ever been to where normal sweetness is 50% and my goodness these drinks are DELICIOUS. As much as I love boba... it takes me awhile to finish a drink even a small one and even adjusting sugar already. But the drinks are so good I finish the drink before I even get home.
