I bought a jar of Goat Bone Broth- that is sourced extremely local, or what someone could say- "micro-local" and I also like that I can bring that jar back and get a refill to limit packaging waste as well. It was a very sweet shop, and they spoiled my dog with lots of samples. And, I enjoyed getting to meet the Shop-Dog Sam behind the counter. I was kind of meandering around and someone asked me if I needed anything and we got to talking about my cat that wouldn't drink water and for the last three years I've talked to everybody about it and I've never been able to get her to drink water, she was a feral cat, most of her life. he commented that I should add some water to her dry food when I mentioned that it's so expensive for me at the moment to buy wet food as well as dry food. since I had been discussing the issue on and off for the past few years with other cat owners, I took the advice with a grain of salt because nothing had worked until now. But I got home and I tried it, and my cat ate the entire thing faster than I had ever seen my cat eat . This doubt just represents the level of care and customer service and local small town small shop service. You don't really get nowadays. Professional groomers should know how to groom by breed, Pekingese style is similar to a Shih Tzu!
