I am at least the second person to report dishonest billing practices here in the last six months. I will not be back.

Jennifer did my initial scans and was super nice, quick, and explained everything to me very clearly. The process was easy and painless thanks to her. I went with the Nikon eye scan instead of a dilation because I had to drive after and I'm so glad I did. I waited for a bit while Dr. Phillips finished with his previous patient and looked over my scans and paperwork, then he came out and got me for my exam. He was very thorough and showed me my eye scan. I got a new prescription and he walked me out to the lobby again. Alana helped me pick frames and lenses. She picked out several options for me and I picked the one I liked the most with her support. She was very nice the whole time and took the stress out of the whole process. I put off getting new glasses for 14 years because of the stress and anxiety associated with going to the eye doctor and adjusting to new lenses and frames each time your prescription changes. The people here made the entire process so easy that I am confident I won't have any reservations about keeping up with regular exams again.

Doing so has greatly changed my life for the better. The high degree of expertise, patience and direction produced a pair of problem solving frames and lenses that other establishments including low vision experts told me would be impossible. And my new glasses look and feel great. These professionals are truly remarkable.

As a result, I have been unable to see close up for the past two years, which causes me daily headaches and significantly impacts my work as a professional seamstress and my ability to read. During my most recent visit, I was once again given a prescription I cannot use. When I raised my concerns, I was told I could come back for a follow-up, but I no longer feel comfortable receiving care at this location. During my appointment, the doctor even made comment insinuating that the woman assisting him was incompetent, which I found unprofessional and made me lose confidence in the care I was receiving. Additionally, when I booked my appointment online, I specifically selected the $89.95 deal that included an eye exam and two pairs of frames. However, during my appointment, the doctor repeatedly tried to sell me contact lenses. I eventually agreed to try daily contacts for occasional use, but he never informed me that this would change my appointment type from a glasses exam to a "contact exam," making it $139.00 and disqualifying me from the $89.95 deal I had booked. After the appointment, when I went to choose frames, I was told by a staff member that I could select any frames with a blue or green tag to qualify for the deal. I picked one blue and one green. At checkout, I was suddenly told that I could only choose blue tags, so I swapped the green pair for a blue pair even though I didn't like them as much. Then I was told that I was not eligible for the deal at all because my appointment had been changed to a contact appointment (something I never knowingly agreed to). I asked if I could decline the contacts so that I could use the deal I had booked, and I was told no because "the appointment type was already changed." Ultimately, I left without glasses, paid significantly more than I was prepared to, and received a prescription that does not allow me to see clearly. I believe I was misled regarding both pricing and appointment type, was denied the deal I booked online, and left with a prescription that does not work for me.

Took them back that Saturday (7 days later) and customer service was rude and snotty about their mistake not even offering an apology. Now it's been 3 weeks but still no glasses! When I call they act like since I had them sent back then I shouldn't expect a fast return! I will never spend my hard earned cash here again! Do yourself a favor go somewhere else if you want quality service and product.

They carry my favorite brand: 141! The staff here is friendly and the glasses I got are great. The only thing that's a bit unusual is their strict system for the front of house (frames and fitting), not only the back of house (exam). We all expect to make an appointment for an exam, but it's unusual to have to make an appointment to bring in a paper copy of an e-signed prescription that can be e-mailed (or dropped off at any time, presumably), and when a credit card might be given over the phone. Once I was there, a lens order was placed that had some bells and whistles. I had to inquire to find out what I was paying for. I was ok with the decisions, but surprised I hadn't been asked about them. Most places build up your lens order question by question, customizing along the way, instead of choosing for you. And later, when the glasses are in, you make another strict appointment to pick them up. In short: Foley has a rigid way of operating. It's not a huge deal, and I might well return to them again in future. But I rushed out of a work meeting to get there by 12 on the dot for my frame pickup appointment... and the place was empty and it took 5 minutes. Why make the customer do this?

Positives: Good, thorough exam; friendly staff; knowledgeable doctor…read more Negatives: Disorganization, poor communication, referral errors, bad referral experience, ridiculously overpriced and SLOW glasses Summary: If you JUST want an exam, you'll probably be fine, but (I cannot stress this enough!) DO NOT order your glasses here. Take the prescription and run. Initial exam was April 16th. Following the exam, I reluctantly agreed to pay $800 (after insurance) for a regular pair of glasses and a computer pair. The regular pair was to have advanced Transitions lenses in them (the kind that partially darken in the car). I had major sticker shock, but (1) it had been a few years since I bought new glasses and everything is insanely expensive now, (2) I knew the specialties (like Transitions) could add to the cost, and (3) I thought I was getting the best because I was ordering through an established local business. "You get what you pay for." I was not informed of an expected delivery time but given that (in 45 years of wearing glasses) I had never waited more than 10 days total, I wasn't too concerned. That is until I called in on 4/28 (nearly two weeks post-order) and was told they always take 7-14 BUSINESS days. I NEVER would have paid that much to wait that long. I asked about canceling the order so I could go elsewhere and was told it had been two weeks already so the order couldn't be canceled. On 5/12 (just shy of FOUR weeks post-order), I was finally told they were in. The frames had been extremely loosened at the lab so they had to be tightened three times during pick-up before they felt secure. A week later, they were barely darkening in the car and were loose again so I returned. Stevie attempted to make things right by helping me pick out a different frame and re-order. She apologized for the delay. She also offered magnetic sunglasses 'for free'. Believing these could be used to help my Transitions in the car, I agreed and placed the order. At the time, I felt like Stevie was the only one who actually cared. I felt heard and seen and opted to wait to post online reviews. That wait ended yesterday 6/4 when I went to pick up the replacement glasses. They were also too loose, but Stevie adjusted, and I left. On the way home, I discovered that the new pair didn't have Transitions lenses in them. I called back in and Stevie said she didn't order them because she thought they would be too dark in combination with the clip-ons. Given that I had paid for Transitions, I don't see this as anything other than theft. Had she stated they were replacing my Transitions, I would have refused the clip-ons. Not only did the clip look & feel cheap, its extended bridge was causing blurry spots as I turned my head and distracting shadows beneath my eyes. I could not safely drive with them on, and even if I could wear them, without the Transitions, I would have had to carry these with me everywhere to ensure sun protection. I pay for Transitions lenses for a reason so they are ALWAYS with me. Braving afternoon traffic again, I returned to pick up my original 'new' pair so I could have sun protection. She offered to put Transitions into the replacement pair, and I said that was up to her and I left. I later left a voicemail stating I would not be returning and to do what they wanted with the replacements. I then ordered cheap clip-ons myself to use in the car as needed since the "advanced" Transitions don't darken correctly (less than my five year old pair.) By comparison, my husband's appointment with Dr. Foley was four days after mine. He opted to go down the street to a competitor because my glasses had been so expensive. He got two pair of glasses as well, for HALF the price, and had them in his hands in five days. He loves them. For me, I have never regretted a purchase more than buying glasses from Dr. Foley. In addition to the glasses debacle, I was also referred to Dr. Peter Karth for retina care. He was unprofessional and condescending, and his team was rude. After requesting a different referral for continued care, Dr. Foley's team sent the wrong referral to the other doctor so I didn't hear from them for over a week. I don't hold Dr. Foley responsible for Dr. Peter Karth's actions, but I do think she should reconsider who she uses for retina care referrals because I wouldn't wish my experience there on anyone. Her team also needs better training on properly handling referrals. We should be able to trust medical professionals. We should know they are being honest, forthcoming, up front about costs, delays, expectations, etc. That has proven impossible with Dr. Foley and her team. There are dozens of qualified optometrists in the area. I strongly recommend going elsewhere.
