Today on Sunday 1/29/2023 I came to grab a shirt and when I arrived the doors were locked. As it states on the window, website and online today the code time is 6pm. Unfortunately, it was about 535pm and they had already locked the doors. I'm not sure how the store corporate will feel that they losing out on money. I called to confirm the time and a young lady picked up and than hung up, called back and I ask what time they close she said 6pm I'm like while the doors are locked and she answer that they were picking up which was a lie they were talking to each other. So I came in here on my birthday, shouldn't have, but I just wanted to treat myself real quick and buy me something small. So I'm shopping, as always, the employees are running their mouths about my body....Ya know, california so use to fake stuff. They've never seen real booty before. While they have cute cheap clothing their customer services is trash. I shop there enough and most of the time there is one girl that is nice and welcomes me when I walk thru the door. But far too often am I met with cold non personable stand offish energy from the women that work there. As a business owner myself, it's very important to me that I make people feel welcome and comfortable when they work with me. Today when I went there for an exchange the woman at the counter was dry, cold, standoffish and not friendly at all. I wanted to say something but being that I'm having a nice day I choose to be the bigger person and let it go. I even complemented her nails and tried to start a conversation and was left on red. It's unfortunate because I spend plenty of money at this particular store. I guess I'll have to rethink that or hope that the tall sister with the great smile is there next time. Rainbow has very stylish clothes with good materials, but literally the worse set to service/sell them. They always have a blank faced and seem to be too boujee acting when it comes to servicing. I noticed that the manager and overall employees don't really enjoy black people as they appear in a black owned shop. Just like when you go to church's or kfc chicken you see all Mexicans and barely blacks. One star for the lack of customer service. First time in the store and was highly disappointed by all the employees. At least 5 girls and not one single person greeted me or uttered a single word to customers. Great prices and clothing selection but there needs to be better customer service. read more

Cute clothes, but the clothing quality is poor. They should be charging fallas prices. I bought 13$ patent leather shoes, and the patent scraped off the first day I wore them. I also bought a pair of adorable stretchy jeans for 20$ They lasted the first time I wore them, but the second time, they tore all along the crotch and butt area. Oh my goodness, this place really sucked!!! My sister dragged me into this store with her today, never again. I have never been so annoyed by people like I was today by these store employees, all of them. They lacked so much maturity, professionalism and were so darn rude! One complained about the other, they bought pizza and ate right in front of the store like what the heck?? A lady paid in front of us and she handed her phone to the cashier to receive a discount, simply because the customer asked the employee to put her phone down all I can hear is the employees talk about the customer when the customer left. I try to not write negative reviews about any business or anything in particular, but my experience here was crazy. This store needs to close down seriously. I remember I came here during the evening time, for some basics and as I was minding my own business, enjoying myself I was there to only find myself being followed and talked about by two Hispanic woman and a African American woman. I walked out of there after that. I'm so tired of being followed in certain businesses like such as this one. This is 2018, I am not going to support anyone who doesn't respect me as a customer or at least try to show professionalism in some aspect.
