My son wore it once, then the 2nd time he went to wear it I noticed the letters and numbers were peeling. There is no way this is legit. The tag has Jordan on it, so obviously they are selling bootleg items. I reached our for return or exchange I was told that bc my son wore it, they couldn't do anything as their policy says it must be not worn...however they fail to include in their policy that a name brand jersey should not fall apart. I came to pick up some shoes here. Not in the best location in long beach but just watch you're surroundings. They have TONS of shoes, shirts backpacks and more here. I assumed this place has had its share of people stealing as they have two security guards at the door now. Anyways as i was browsing for shoes i found the ones i liked. They had the size i was looking for and i was on my way. Prices are good, better then going to the mall and paying $150-$200 for a pair of shoes, i always visit a WSS location first. The cashier was nice and pleasant at checkout. Its also a good place to bring kids due to a huge selection of children items. read more

I ordered shoes from this company and instead received a completely different order--someone else's shoes entirely. Mistakes happen, but what followed was unbelievably poor customer service. Instead of doing the right thing and sending out the correct item, they told me I'd only be issued a refund and expected me to go out of my way to return the order they sent me by mistake. When I asked for a replacement or even the courtesy of escalating the issue, I was told (by the "manager") that she was the final point of contact and that there was no one else I could speak to. They clearly state on their website that if you purchase this particular jacket that you will get the 2nd at 50% off the listed price. They then allow you to make your purchase and deliver the 1 jacket for full price and cancel the one that you should've received for 50% off. Mind you they don't issue your refund right away and you end up having to wait over a week for them to return the money that they charged you that should've been for the jacket that was half off. Ordered size 10.5 Nikes, size I normally wear. Once received, they were too large so I contacted WSS for an exchange. I was informed they do not do exchanges, which is very odd and unheard of from a shoe retailer. I agreed to return them for a refund, looking to re-purchase the smaller size. At this point they informed me they would not honor a 25% off promotion they had when I bought the original pair. Received used shoes from an online purchase and took back to the store and was told I'd have to call customer service to send back the shoes. So I called customer service and they required pictures before they send me a shipping label for return. After doing so they finally after a week send me the shipping label with an expiration of one day so you have to print it out immediately or it will expire! Then after sending the shoes back and they received them it has taken several of calls to customer service and I still haven't received my refund. Worst shoe buying experience ever! I would give negative stars if I could! I ordered a pair of Nike sneakers for my daughter as a holiday gift. They were on sale for Black Friday. I could have ordered them from another store in a different color also on huge sale, but preferred this color. WSS sent me the wrong pair of shoes with a packaging invoice for a different customer. When I called to complain, they were incredibly rude to me. They told me I should order the sneakers again at full price (55 dollars more since the sale ended), and then send back the pair that was sent to me incorrectly. They said "if the incorrect pair is in good condition" they will issue me a refund! I don't expect to ever see my refund, and I am now ordering the other color Nikes full price from a different website cause I missed all the sales. read more

I made an online purchase of 6 packs of Nike socks on 4/15/2024. I found out that I do not need them due to sizing. The socks are in the same exact condition I received them, unworn/unopened/unused. Today I requested a refund via phone (per the website) and was told by the customer service representative "Your order is considered a Bulk Purchase because you purchased 4 or more of the same item". The website does not indicate a specific number that will make an order to be a Bulk Purchase. I made the customer service representative aware of this and she said, "Well, on the website it says 'repeat purchases', and since there is an 's' on the word purchase, that means it's plural". WHAT?!?!?! Plural means greater than 1, even the number 1.0000000000001 is greater than the number 1. So is it more than 1 or 4 of the same item? I requested to speak to a supervisor but she provided me with the Help Department email address. I immediately contacted the Help department via email, only to receive a same generic response. It's not good business to provide vague written policies, and when questioned by a customer for clarification, only vague inconsistent verbal answers are provided. I am clearly within the 30 day refund window (per their website) and I just want the refund for the items. The pictures attached indicate the bulk purchase policy. And even on the actual product listing, it does not indicate bulk purchase amount. read more

I've ordered online from WSS multiple times, last year was when I begun buying shoes online. They would always come fast. This month I've bought two different pairs of shoes. They mis scanned the first pair, that was around the first week of June 2024. I was so excited to receive these shoes. Took them forever to start a refund claim. Here it is June 24th 2024 I still haven't gotten my refund for the first pair. The second pair of shoes hasn't shipped out yet, I bought them a few days ago. This store used to be GREAT. I don't know what happened but now they're wasting peoples time & seems like they're scamming people. The customer service is very awful. We called to exchange them ... first they claimed they dont do exchanges, even tho it clearly stated on the invoice that they do, then they claimed they weren't eligible for return because they were a clearance item even though there was NOWHERE that indicated that it was, then when we asked to speak with a supervisor we were told she couldnt FOUR TIMES! I tried to redeem my $30 Groupon Voucher for a $26 order. The Team Member Isaak told me I needed to spend $4 more which was not mentioned in the fine print. Then he told me tax was not covered by Groupon orders. I told Isaak that this is false advertisement or in other words a Bait and Switch. I requested to talk to a Manager, and he said that he was the manager. I can't verify if he was telling me the truth or not, but his name tag said he was a Team Member 'NOT' a manager. Of course I declined to buy the merchandise, and tried to give Isaak one more chance to redeem himself by telling him that I will be writing a review on this situation. He didn't seem to care, so being a man of my word I had no choice but to share my experience on Yelp. So I feel that either Isaak is just a bad apple, or WSS is knowingly participating in a bait and switch which is against the law. I purchased a Groupon a few months back, and not knowing what this store was I looked up their website and it looked like they had some pretty cool shoes. After finding out where it was I was hesitant to come here, but I had my Groupon and my kids needed shoes. The place was clean and surprisingly very well organized. There was a lady constantly going up and down the aisles making sure the shoe boxes looked neat. Their prices were reasonable too, and they had current styles., I bought my daughter the new Hello Kitty Vans from the Vans store in September for $45, and WSS had the same ones for $29.99, how can this be possible? So while my daughter opted for a pair of Chuck Taylor's, my son still wanted Vans, and what do you know we came across a pair that he has owned before, and they too were only $29.99! They look slightly different though, but I'm thinking maybe it's an updated style. When I get home I'm gonna put these shoes side by side with the Vans from the Vans store to compare... To generalize I'd say this place caters to more of an urban clientele but fashion mavens will find their pumas and nikes. Prices are very reasonable, the place is like Ross or TJ Maxx so they probably get a lot of overstock and year old models. Age is just number though when it comes to shoes, does it really matter if those Jordans came out last year, especially when they only cost sixty or seventy dollars?
