Had a fantastic experience!! We walked in and were greeted right away by both employees. I asked to try on a shoe and he immediately went and got it (im sorry i didnt get his name but he was great!! Sales person #400530) I felt very welcomed and the guy was a great combo of attentive yet giving us space. Of course i bought them!! Hurray!!! He even showed me a gorgeous pair of ballet heels that were coming this fall and they had some great soft flats i want to try. Ive been sleeping on Steve Madden but no more!! Literally the worst experience. I went in looking for a cute pair of heels that I did ended up purchasing and the employee whos name is allegedly Casandra helped me out and brought me pairs to try and checked me out. I later found heels at a different store so decided to go back to SM to return the ones i purchased before. I went to the same employee & she had the nastiest attitude, she printed my return receipt and left the receipt on the counter and walked to the back of house without acknowledging me. so i stood there for a second to see if she would return and when she didnt the other employee on the floor came to HAND me my receipt and tell me I was all set. I purchased DEMI TAN sandals online after not being able to find my size at a Steve Madden retail location. The shopping experience was easy...the problem is that the shoes I received, clearly, had been worn. I contacted customers service immediately letting them know of the problem and asked that they either have the shoes with NEW (not worn/used) shoes or offer me some form of compensation. I was instructed to follow the link for refunds/exchanges, which I did. Unfortunately, Steve Madden considers my purchase a FINAL SALES even though I find no mention as such on the invoice receipt that I was emailed or on the shipping receipt. to add insult to injury Steve Madden states that they will gladly accept returns of UNWORN MERCHANDISE - that would reasonable if they sold and shipped UNWORN MERCHANDISE in the first place. Clearly customer satisfaction is NOT a priority with Steve Madden. This is WRONG on so many levels...#SHAME ON STEVE MADDEN. read more

I tried on like 6 pairs of shoes and they were very flexible in finding similar pairs in my size (size 13) or suggesting if they didn't have the size or shoe, they could order one online to arrive really soon. I really appreciated their fashion advice and salesman pitch. At the time I came to the store, there was a 30% off sale on all men shoes which is very convenient and the added bonus that I needed to buy what I wanted. They provided impetus to purchase. I've bought Steve Madden shoes for years now. My closet is full of them. I bought a pair of heels to wear for my anniversary - when I tried them on at home two of the rhinestones fell out right away just trying them on. I wanted to wear them to dinner to complete my outfit because I didn't have time to get new shoes. I walked only from the house to the car and the elastic strap kept sliding down. I changed into Birkenstock's to wear to my nice dinner. I came to return these heels today... the music is SO INCREDIBLY LOUD the employees have to shout to freaking talk to you. Sadie Z is the one who assisted me. I could barely hear what she was saying. I told her the situation and was greeted with a MAJOR attitude because she can't "re-sell" the shoes from the wear and tear of walking to the car. Honestly not my problem, don't sell a poorly made/cheap product for $110 and get upset when it's returned- they shouldn't be resold anyways as the rhinestones fell out immediately. She refunded my purchase but with a completely unprofessional attitude. Handed me my receipt with sass as if I was doing something wrong. If the employees here spent as much on their customer service skills as they do on their trashy liquid eyeliner and fake eyelashes the size of bird wings maybe I customers would come back. My favorite store to go to for the hottest shoes. The store has a nice atmosphere with friendly workers. They are very attentive and even during peak season they will take care of your shoe needs on a timely manner. I bought shoes 3 days in a row (12 pairs of shoes and a purse). Worst Steve Madden I've been to the employee Tasia was very rude. Right when I came in she commented on my shirt and was so fake about it. She continued to talk about me to her co worker as she kept looking and laughing very un professional. I always buy Steve Madden shoes because most of the time their heels are really comfortable. But I also always struggle to find 5's in heels! I went in today and bought three pairs and two had to be shipped since they didn't have my size. I had a really positive experience with Jackie working in the store. I came in to make a Return, I saw some shoes that I liked but didn't know if I wanted to buy them. I was approached by a girl named Rhe and she was really sweet and patient with me. She convinced me to buy the shoes I liked, which I don't regret at all, and I was really surprised with the great customer service I was receiving. The only reason for this 5 star review is because of Austin I went in there yesterday uneasy because to be completely honest all of the girls that work at this location are rude and lazy. Great selection and friendly staff. They all checked on me while looking at shoes, and brought the shoes out quickly. The selections were all cute, stylish and in my size. I will say, they are on the pricier side, especially if they are not Steve Madden exclusives. I say this since you can find the same shoes at Macy's or Nordstroms at sales prices. For example, I purchased a pair of shoes for full price at $129 and the same shoes was on sale at Macy's for $45. I called Steve Madden - Del Amo, and was told to bring in the ad with my receipt and they would price match the shoe for me. Nice. read more

I walked into the store and instead of being welcomed in the employee Jackie continued to be on her phone. Once I asked for help she ignored me and I had to ask a second time. I asked for 3 different styles she brought them to me and walked away. She wasn't kind about her business she had attitude and rolled her eyes several times. She came back within minutes asking me if I want to get them. I told her They weren't the best fit for me but I still have one more to try. Now instead of asking me would I like to try anything else she snatches the heels and all 3 boxes and walks away. My brother mentions to her that I didn't finish trying on all 3 and she ignores him. I shouldn't of been treated this way she made me feel like I was not welcomed and I wasn't a worthy customer. This has been by far my worst visit. She was not the only employee in the store. Went to the store on a weekend, purchased 2 pairs of shoes which one pair they didn't have in stock at the store so they told me they were going to ship it from another store via overnight shipping. I told them it was important since I needed them for a wedding. Then Monday comes around and I still don't get a promised tracking number for my shoes. I call and call all week and everyday they keep telling me the other store will ship them out and that they were going to stay in touch with me to provide me with a tracking number. They never did. I had to keep calling and calling them to see if they had an update because I really needed them for a wedding. All week they told me the same thing and no real action or real customer satisfaction was given. No one provided me a real solution. Had to escalate this to cooperate. Don't even dare buying shoes they don't have in their location because you will never get them. They were quick to charge me but never on top of it to make sure I get my shoes. It's been a week now and I have yet to receive a response or real answer or let alone my shoes. read more
