So here we are again to find more distinctive Hawaiian designs. Today, only "Baba" ("father" in Farsi) was in attendance at the shop, the last time we were here (if I'm not mistaken) was probably before the pandemic. Back then, there were a few ladies working here and were all Pacific Islanders. Baba was friendly & personable. The selection is fairly massive, wall to wall, 2 aisles worth and some on the back wall that were plain (I did not check that back wall!). Pricing? Definitely sky rocketed, just like everything else. It's about $10/yard (the material that's thicker). Hubby needs 3 yards per shirt (XXL Tall). It's a pretty penny, plus the price for custom tailor, that's another discussion lol. Given the price tag, perhaps we will explore other fabric stores (next time) that will accommodate our needs. Plus, when we purchased from the ladies that were here before, they gave us a discount for the amount we paid for the fabrics. Little perks go a long way. Outfitting some church ladies in some wonderful ensembles! Some of the outfits this year were just jaw dropping! I'm heading over to take a look after meeting with Atzaira after the luncheon. She was so funny introducing the models describing what they are wearing and encouraging our ladies to have fun and enjoy their appearance and how beautiful they look! I spoke with the manager and was told it would be looked into. Was told they do not know what happened to it and was told to come back to get a replacement battery. I came back on Nov 27 and was helped by who I believe was the night manager Nick who seemed to make it my problem and if I actually dropped off a battery that day when he was working as well. I told him the make and model of the car for the battery and he pulled up the battery and then he asked me for my phone number for my account and decided to give me a battery for a different car that I ordered last year instead of the correct battery that we already established previously. I assumed he was correct in giving me the correct battery and found out it was the wrong battery when I brought it home because it was too small. As a customer I do not appreciate being accused of something and was following their procedures. On top of being given the wrong battery as a replacement when I clearly established the information for what car it was for. He did not bother to verify why the battery was different from what was discussed and just gave me the wrong battery.
