My daughter and I visited this store and it felt good to be greeted, offered help, and lead in the right direction. All of the staff were professional and provided excellent customer service. I went in for converse and there was a large selection. One of the staff (without me asking) informed me that they also had the shoes in the women's section. I went over and looked at the women's converse and returned to the men's section, when he saw me return he asked if I was able to find the shoes and asked if I needed assistance . Check out was fantastic too!! and the greeter even told us goodbye. I hadn't experienced good customer service like that in a long time. The shoes were also reasonably priced. This review is for Rueben! I went in for some shoes I've been wanting for a while. They didn't have my size in women so I was recommended a kids size. I needed half a size smaller which was not available in the style I wanted. He had me try on similar shoes to make sure I got my perfect size and he proceeded to call around different stores. Ultimately he ordered them to be delivered to my home. I had a really great experience overall, the store was clean, I was greeted at the door, and the cashier was extremely polite. Heads up - Not the place if you're looking for Men's size 12 or above. I was surprised to find that they have almost zero selection of size 12 (or above) shoes. Everything I liked had nothing larger than an 11 on the shelves. Then I started just looking at any shoes regardless of style, and no 12s. I asked a store employee what the deal was and he said that their location hasn't been a big seller of larger sizes, and they would just sit on the shelves, so the company doesn't deliver 12s very often to this store. The gentleman who told me this was very helpful, and the guys working up front greeted me, and thanked me for coming when I left, but I have never seen this at a shoe store before, just flat out not stocking anything above 11. They told me that the store in Huntington Park gets larger sizes, but I was hoping to find something around the office during my lunch break, oh well. Can't really knock them too hard for the size thing; overall they have a huge selection (for smaller feet) and their customer service was friendly and helpful. read more

Had a promo where it says $10 off of $50 purchase, hit the redeem now button (here on yelp) but cashier said he couldn't honor it. A barcode was needed and he was quick to shut the opportunity down. Didn't bother to check with a supervisor/ manager about it. With that said if you guys have that promo available this store does not honor it. Secondly plenty of staff passed by and didn't offer any assistance. Plenty of staff were by the door didn't bother to say hello even though they weren't busy. Customer service at this location has dropped in my opinion as of late all the times I've come in I've experienced the difference. I personally am a new balance kind of guy and i've been able to score deals on them. Got the 574's for 49.99 plus taxes. Considering online they sell for 59... i got a deal. And no waiting for them to be shipped. They also carry a pretty sick line up of Creative Recreation shoes... and they are priced way under other nearby shoe places. like 30% less. Again, with the groupon offer i scored some Creative recs for like $26 bucks! loved it. I like WSS. I head over when I'm bored and have a little money. WSS has LOTS of selections of shoes for everyone, you're bound to find the shoes you're looking for somehow. First things first, the customer service here is absolutely amazing. There is always like at least a dozen staffs walking around asking if anyone needs any assistance. Second, the selections here are absolutely amazing. I wouldn't be surprised if they said they carry every model of Vans or Converse shoes here. They have it all! Third, they sell so many other fashion goods too like shirts, hats, and other accessories. Last but not least, they have a very good amount of shoes in the clearance asile (on the back of the store here) for a very sick deal. Speaking of deals, you should visit sites like Groupon and their official website for any promotions they have to save even more money. Had to visit this establishment a few days ago and boy was I stumped! This is my usual GO-TO for my sons shoes but the other day, they didn't have what i needed!!! As i browsed the store for about 20 minutes, no one asked if I needed help, which indeed, i did! A few seconds later, a young lady named Samajae assisted me and SHE DID AN EXCELLENT JOB! Pretty decent selection of shoes, but be prepared to get b.s.'ed about using a Yelp coupon. There is a VERY generic "Exclusions apply see store for details." message at the bottom of the Yelp coupon code, and it can be interpreted to mean anything the store employee wants it to mean. (i.e. - Not good for the purchase of Jordan brand, Nike, sale items, on Tuesdays, Thursday, Weekends, or any day that ends in "Y".) Would be better if exclusions were specified, so that one's time would not be wasted. read more

I had a groupon and bought 2 pairs of shoes on their website (www.shopwss.com). Several days went by, I still haven't gotten my package. So I e-mailed their customer service but there was no reply to my mail at all. I waited for 2 weeks before it actually arrived but just by seeing the box's size, I immediately noticed something was odd. So I opened the package and I was very disappointed that I only got ONE pair of shoes instead of two. The worse thing is that it was the WRONG item and they charged me an additional fee weeks after I have placed my order. I tried to contact them via their customer service line, but no one seems to answer my call. I was kept waiting for hours and still no agent has picked up the line. I really am disappointed and I definitely would never buy from their store ever again. read more
