I am extremely disappointed by my experience at this boutique in Redondo Beach. I visited the store with my daughters, excited to shop and support a local business. Unfortunately, from the moment we walked in, we felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. The employees closely followed us throughout the store and made us feel as though we were being watched because they assumed we might steal something. The treatment we received felt like racial profiling, and it was both embarrassing and hurtful. Rather than feeling like valued customers, we felt judged and singled out. Despite the uncomfortable atmosphere, I still made a purchase and bought a pair of earrings. However, that purchase was only a fraction of what I intended to spend. I came into the store fully prepared to buy multiple items and would have gladly spent considerably more. Instead, the employees' behavior completely discouraged me from continuing to shop. What makes this experience even more disappointing is that the store lost out on a much larger sale because of the way my daughters and I were treated. Customers should feel welcomed, appreciated, and respected--not scrutinized and judged. Had we been treated with kindness and professionalism, I likely would have purchased several additional items and returned in the future. I also noticed several other potential customers walk into the store and quickly leave without making a purchase. Customer service plays a huge role in whether people choose to shop and spend money, and unfortunately, that was severely lacking during my visit. I have never felt so profiled while shopping before, and it was a deeply upsetting experience. No customer should be made to feel uncomfortable because of their appearance, race, or background. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and provides better training to ensure that all customers are treated with respect, dignity, and professionalism. I have been in this store twice. Both times I was completely ignored. I was seen and still ignored. I was upset the first time but tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. When it happened the second time I decided to make this review. The employee looked at me and then returned to what they were doing and a second later asked another customer if she needed anything. I believe I was being profiled that I would not spend like that customer. It is extremely upsetting to be profiled when I am happy to spend money on quality goods with great customer service. read more

My absolute favorite boutique. The selections are always current but not trendy. You can always find classic, staple pieces and unique seasonal high quality, clothing, jewelry, and accessories. I love everything from the denim, dresses, loungewear, and bling. The owner Carolina has been in the Riv and loves the community and her clients. She has events at the store for pop ups and special occasions. I enjoy stopping in even when I don't have anything to buy- yet I always find something. And their gift wrap is super cute. Locals love Alandrea. And apparently non-locals like it, too. Because when my soon-to-be daughter-in-law was visiting from SF, she was exploring the Village one day by herself & came back with a gorgeous grey knit wrap. From Alandrea, of course. Expensive? Nope, she said....on sale! So yeah, their sales are good. Regular prices are not cheap, but their styles seem to be worth it. And they carry Frye boots. And nice jeans & accessories. The store is bright & welcoming. Shopping at local small businesses beats the heck out of going to huge malls with crowded parking lots, is how I feel. read more

I have never written a negative review on Yelp, but this shop deserves some constructive criticism. When I entered the store this morning, I was met with total silence from the two shop clerks on staff. No greeting whatsoever, crickets. As I browsed through the inventory, an employee with black framed glasses and a scowl on her face looked straight at me, looked me straight in the eyes, and still could not muster enough energy to say hello. I was shocked. My question to the shop owner - are you trying to turn paying customers away? If so, you're doing a great job. I spend a lot of money on clothes, and I will never ever set foot in this store again. If you are not, then please, try to find employees who are at least kind and who enjoy serving the public. read more

This has been my favorite boutique for years! Every time I go in I feel like I'm on a treasure hunt - there's always so much new to discover. They carry a large variety of the most popular brands and have a perpetual sales rack. I also appreciate the fact that I can trust the sales associates' opinions on what looks good on me when I try something on. Most of my favorite pieces of clothing come from Andrea. This is my favorite store to shop at. I can ALWAYS find something cute and the staff is so friendly and helpful. I am not one to be able to put an outfit together so I love that the staff will always work with me. Carolina, the owner, is always willing to take the time and care to pull pieces together for me and give honest feedback on how each outfit looks on me. I truly value that!! I also love all the accessories in the store, especially the jewelry and the purses. They have such a great selection of both and they are super reasonably priced. Honestly Holly W, I'm sorry your old store credit wasn't accepted, but I don't think it's fair to try and recruit others to your "side". I have been told I couldn't return an item, but I wasn't offended that there are policies they have to abide by. I've spent thousands at Saks, do you think they would overlook a rule just because my mom and I have shopped there for years?! They may have nice, expensive products, however, their customer service & return policy is horrible. I received a Christmas gift from a friend, not having been in the shop myself in months. I needed to exchange it, not return it, & the earliest I could get there due to my holiday travel plans was Jan. 6th. I was informed that the deadline was Jan. 4th, no exceptions. I was also told repeatedly that there was a sign in the window stating that policy. I reminded the salesperson that since it was a gift, still wrapped in it's box, I was not in the shop, thus not able to see the sign & would they please reconsider or even be willing to exchange it for something less expensive, increasing their profit. Absolutely not. So I am stuck with a sweater I am highly allergic to and was probably $200. read more
