I was really disappointed but then he offered to grab some choices for me to try on so I can find something I like!! I ended up trying on 8 pairs of pants and buying 2 from the store, then ordering one online. It was such a good feeling to wear jeans instead of leggings! I really hope H&M knows what a great employee they have in Felix. He was kind, courteous, and truly went above and beyond, digging through boxes in the back for me. The supervisors I interacted with were rude, dismissive, and lacked basic customer service skills. Instead of feeling helped, I felt judged and stressed during a simple return process. I understand retail can be busy and difficult at times, but kindness and professionalism go a long way. Upon entry, a congenial gal complimented me on my skirt and asked if I got it at Anthropologie which I did, and we made some pleasant small talk. The store was well organized, and I grabbed a couple of things to try on. While looking for the friendly employee for size help, I unfortunately encountered a grouchy lady who ended up assisting me; she was downright rude and snippy. In fact, she was repeatedly off-putting to extent that it's not necessary to go into to detail and identify her b/c no doubt her colleagues feel the same way-awful attitude. It was also strange despite signs throughout the store that indicate customers would get $100 off a $300 purchase (fantastic deal!), the cashier (another employee) was clearly not going to apply it without me prompting her to do so. Consequently, she needed to ask someone-presumably the manager-for assistance to do this. I get it because I've been new in a workplace and proper training on the job is necessary. The whole experience was just sort of jarring and perplexing, but I dismissed it because I'm not a regular, experienced brick and mortar shopper these days. A reason for this mediocre experience was later elucidated when I sat down solo at the bar at PF Chang's and told the bartender that she was an overall MUCH more superior server than I ever was while working for this franchise for six years. That's when another solo diner-manager from the Coach store-beside me chimed in. She said she's been trying to get this bartender to come work at her store because it's difficult to find people like her who have such a positive and enthusiastic work ethic. Then it clicked: apparently, there must be a shortage of quality applicants in the retail business. Great selection very nice and tidy , a very welcomed environment making you feel good , the girls have a very positive attitude they help me out with a few questions and concerns I had , I can't complain , but I had a very good experience while shopping , while ringing they make conversation so you just don't stand there feeling awkward. It's hard to find matching sets online sometimes, so I decided to visit the store. I actually found some adorable matching pieces and got really excited! I found the right size for my baby, but I couldn't find the toddler size. I asked a store associate if they had a smaller size in the back, but they just said, "Whatever's out there is all we have," and didn't offer to check or help me find another option. I left without buying anything and felt disappointed. Maybe it was just a bad day for the staff, but it didn't feel very welcoming or helpful. I really love Carter's clothes, but I'm not sure I'll visit this location again.
