I was recommended to come here by my brother, who has come here multiple times himself, and the assortment is so grand! We had a very friendly and chatty associate (I did not catch his name ) but he made the experience much quicker and enjoyable! My boyfriend tried on about three suits before I decided on a color, then simply had to find a good size for his long arms. We needed the suit that same day so they took in his measurements to style to our liking and he arrived about 3 hours later to pick it up. It was just under $400 for that brand (including the tailoring), but i adore the resulting look and will definitely get plentiful use out of it, for years to come. However, they additionally have an incredible deal involving three suits that we will make sure to take advantage of in the future! Just didn't this time as we only needed the one for now, but we will be back! read more

Horrible customer service. My family and I were not greeted when we first walked in. We tried on a suit (self-service) then began looking at other options. Finally after 20 minutes or so we were assisted by a salesperson who had a very poor attitude and condescending tone. Definitely not some one I'd want to hand over 300-400 of my hard earned dollars to. Went to a popular suit spot in Gardena and recieved great service. Salesperson even gave us water while we waited for alterations and checked out. Spent close to $400 and recieved the service we expected and more. read more

If you want to feel unwelcome go to Hollywood suits..i was trying to purchase a suit but i just waste my gas and time one of the sales representative asked me if I needed help and I asked for price, he give the price and walk away after walked almost the whole store other sales representative asked me if i was being help and i told him that someone approached me but walked away he call the same guy but the same thing happened he just told me "this is maybe your side" and walked away again ....... What a bad experience... Hollywood suits need to improve on customer service or do i need to look like a rich person to be help???? read more

Walked in and wasn't greeted at all. No "hello," no "need help?" nothing. A salesman finally pointed at a rack and said, "your size is there." I told him the pants weren't my size, and the only thing he bothered to say was, "try on the jacket." That was it. No effort, no service. Then another customer walked in, someone who looked very different from me I'll leave it to your imagination what that difference was. And suddenly this same salesman turned into Mr. Customer Service. Full attention. Full energy. Amazing how appearance changes the level of help you get in that store. I walked right out. I'm not spending a dime where I'm ignored while someone else gets VIP treatment. The Hollywood location treats people right. Torrance? Never again! read more

Visited Westminster store to purchase suit for my father. Liked a suit from store but didn't have correct size. They were able to call Torrance store and had set it aside for me same day. So I purchased suit from westminster to exchange at Torrance store. Visited Torrance store for exchange but had a few hiccups on exchange. Store manager Sabrina along with associates Basil and Defrantz were able to square it away and also was able to get it tailored within the time I was there. I would encourage you to go elsewhere. Their shirts wrapped in cellophane packaging are complete garbage. They are not cotton. They are polyester. They are very thin and look very cheap. That is why they don't allow you to take them out of the package, and that is why they sell them for $19.99 or 4 for $70.00. They also do not accept returns. Nice one guys! Frankly, this should be illegal. The best they will do is offer you store credit or an exchange if it's under 7 days. Do yourself a favor and go north about 3.5 miles to the Men's Wearhouse. They don't work on commission there. They aren't pushy. They have quality clothing at affordable prices. read more

Needed a black suite for a family wedding coming up..The bride & groom asked all family to wear a black suite or dress, not the wedding party, their in tux's or gowns & friends are wear what you want..Ok, so walk in and 45 minutes later walked out..Everything went smoothly, showed me several styles & I picked a 3 button, regular cut..Paid for it all and will come back 5 days prior to the wedding as to give time should something be wrong with the alteration's..Little steep on the alterations, but it's a one stop shop.. All n all a 4 stars for everything and the out the door cost under $200.00.. read more

Lame...bought a suit a week ago, had them tailor it. Went to pick it up today. Wasn't happy with the sleeve length on the suit and had to have a discussion with the tailor to adjust. Finally he agreed to make the change and it still doesn't match. Going to take it to my normal tailor to get it fixed. Then I checked in with Yelp, a free tie offer popped up with any purchase. I asked the manager if this offer was good since I just bought the suit last week. Nope, have to make another purchase today for them to honor it. Lame. Decent place to get an inexpensive suit but I wouldn't count on friendly service and I'd recommend using your own tailor. Good luck! read more

Came here in a desperate state with my boyfriend two days before a wedding, and I could not speak more highly of the customer service we experienced here. After a complete bust at Macy's this was a breath of fresh air. I unfortunately did not get the name of the gentleman than helped us, but he was able to look at my boyfriend and pull out a perfectly fitted suit. Same day hemming allowed Hollywood Suits to completely save the day, and I can confidently say my boyfriend has never looked better. Jacket, pants, shirt, pants hemming, and a bowtie for under $200. Jacket and pants seemed big when I picked up the suits. Discussed with the manager but he assured me that they had been tailored. Didn't think too much of it because I was glad to have bought new suits after 10 years. Later took the suits to a different local tailor since they just seemed too big to wear. I was told that the jacket had all the original lines and was not tailored at all...I guess it's Hollywood suits strategy to lure people back in to pay for additional adjustment. Their service was the terrible . The guy standing at the front of door saw us coming in but didn't greet and just ignored us. Rest of employees either and no one wants to help us. They made us feel very unwelcome except Jason. Jason was the only helped us. When we were in front of the mirror checking out our suits those employees and a customer just walked around between the mirrors without saying anything. very rude. It seems like they only want to help white people. I wouldn't recommend going there. I hope there is ZERO star! Very rude people are working there. read more
