This Skechers is conveniently located on the corner of Crenshaw and Pacific Coast Highway. This location was formerly a Walgreens if you were wondering. I usually shop at the other, larger outlet store, but decided to come check this one out when it finally opened. They sell shoes, of course, but they also sell socks, hats and key chains darned with their logo, records, and portable record players. The store is predominantly rows and rows of men, women, and children's shoes. They display each different shoe design on top, with boxes of shoes below on the shelves. Unless the display is up against the wall, then there are boxes of shoes above the display as well. My favorite shoes is the Skechers brand. They have very comfortable soles, so I look forward to wearing them when I'm planning to walk more than ten thousand steps. And because this is the outlet store, shoes are usually buy one get one at 50% off. Staff are friendly. On the weekends, they have free small bags of popcorn. The only problem I had was that it's help yourself, so it's not being monitored. They have their own parking lot, so there's plenty of free parking. There are two exits, however, only one opens up to Crenshaw. The other exit opens up to a neighborhood side street. read more

This is the new Skechers location located on the corner of PCH and Crenshaw. The moment you walk into the store, you will encounter what you will see pretty much at any Skechers store across the globe, a whole lot of shoes, and other Skechers merchandise. As this is a new store, it is very clean, and easy to get around. I will say, however, the design of the store, and where they have their various sections, is not very well thought out. Whereas when you go to most Skechers stores, the sections are very clearly delineated. This is not the case at this location, however. This being said, you can pretty much find everything you are looking for, in a pretty easy manner, because the space is so open. This is a standard Skechers store. Thus, it is not like their warehouse location over off of 190th and Western. There, you can find a whole lot more of the everything that Skechers offers. And, at some drastically reduce prices for some of their items. This location basically offers Skechers basics. This is not a bad thing, this is just the way it is. So, if you're looking for what Skechers has to offer, and what can be expected, you will find it here. One of the things that I dislike about this location, in comparison to say the Skechers outlet, which has been my favorite Skechers location for decades, is that their free popcorn machine is not always manned by a human. In fact, when I was just in there today, basically all you saw was a popcorn machine, and nobody handling it, and just a bunch of old popcorn on the floor around it and in the machine itself. It's just not a good look. At the other Skechers that offer popcorn, the popcorn machine is always manned by a human. Another thing I don't like about this Skechers location, and this is the same as when this building housed a drugstore for decades, is that there is only one way in and one way out of the store. Meaning, yes, you can come in off of Crenshaw, and yes, you can come in off of PCH, but you cannot turn left to go back up on the hill on Crenshaw, and you're not supposed to turn left onto PCH if you wanna go West. Thus, getting into the store is not such a problem, but leaving it, if you want to go a different direction than is easily accessible, can become a problem. Overall, if you want with Skechers has to offer, you can certainly find it here. If you need some of their shoes, some of their clothes, a backpack, socks, whatever, this is the Skechers location where you will find it. read more

Thanks for looking into updating the name of the store. Grand opening weekend. Arrived around 11AM. A guard and employees are in the parking lot directing traffic. Lucky for me there was an open spot when I arrived. This was a former Walgreens, I believe. So there should be plenty of parking. They had an inflatable slide behind the building for the grand opening. Popcorn being popped at the front door as well as a freezer offering ice cream bars with proof of purchase. Free baseball caps as soon as you enter for everyone. The store is well lit and the layout is very nice. The store was very orderly and there were plenty of employees around to assist. A little bit of a wait for check out. They had a balloon animal artist available as well. I signed up for the Skechers' Reward program while I waited in line. The special was buy 2 pairs, get 1 pair for FREE or buy 1, get the second pair 50% off. The shoes were packed in nice Skechers day packs. With the rewards program, you get 10,000 points worth $5 so that was used on my purchase. I brought in my mailer, which allowed me to pick from a basket of goodies. It reminded me of going to the dentist as a kid and picking out a prize after the dental check up. They had inflatable water bottles, keychains with a doggy business bag holder or shoe shaped stress "balls." I chose the pink shoe "dress ball." Good luck Skechers. Welcome to the neighborhood!! The newest Sketchers store to hit the South Bay! This spot is located right off of Crenshaw and PCH. They just opened up this past Thursday and they've been having a grand opening celebration ever since. The first 2000 customers got their choice of a free tote bag or hat. Some also got an extra free gift if they got a flyer in the mail. They were handing out free popcorn and also ice cream for folks buying shoes. There were lots of shoe deals. They had a buy 1, get 50% off your second pair of shoes or buy 2, get 1 free pair. The shoe selection was abundant with plenty of different designs and colors. I got a pair of some Mark Nason shoes as well as some sandals. Service was good and the employees were friendly. Overall really good shoe deals. It was great to visit for their grand opening and I know I'll be back again. read more

Located on the corner of Crenshaw and PCH in Torrance diagonal from the the 24hr Fitness I believe it was the old Walgreens I think. The store is nice and spacious and sectioned pretty good. The staff were nice and very helpful. I did end up buying another pair of slip ins. Overall a good store and good selection of shoes. read more

Received a card in the mail saying they were having the grand opening starting Thursday, June 12. Bring the card in and you can get a canvas bag or hat and a mystery prize - however I drove by the week before and there were tons of people in line, food trucks and everything else as if this was the grand opening. On June 12 I called and they said they were out of everything but the hats I said but I just got a flyer in the mail and it never said anything about the week before and he said that they did a double grand opening so apparently everyone else got all the free stuff the week before. I guess my postcard works for the non-VIP people. I finally went into the store today and while it was very clean and set up nicely, nobody asked if we needed any help whatsoever. In addition the cheapest pair I saw was $85 and the next one I liked was $105. For Skechers? If I'm gonna pay over $100 for tennis shoes I'll just spend more and get high-end ones! Maybe instead of buying two pair get one free or buy one and get one off just Mark the shoes the regular price like they are at Sam's Club or Target. Overall I won't be going back! Stopped by the new Sketchers store in Torrance this afternoon to see if I could find a pair of shoes for my elderly friend(94yo), who has a medical issue causing one of his feet to swell. Instead of trying to fit him myself, as I am no spring chicken, I hailed a young man and asked if he could help us. With no hesitation, he began bringing shoes, assisted in trying to fit the shoes on....that was a no go, the foot was too swollen. He suggested trying a "wide" which worked on the swollen foot, but not the normal foot. (Too big) I think what I am trying to say, is that at no time did he rush us, make us feel like we were wasting his time, he was a warm, caring young man. An asset to your store and the Sketcher brand. His name was Christian. We did not purchase any shoes today, but we will in a week or so, once we purchase a prosthetic device we think will eliminate the problem. I will be praying that Christian is in the store when we go back. Nice store, by the way! read more
