They had some pretty standard brands like Steve Madden, Me Too, and Puma, but had some nice looking others too.

Wow! This spot sure has changed through the years. Promenade on the Peninsula has now been renamed…read moreto Promenade PV. It's still an open air shopping center but they're putting a big emphasis on community gathering. They do a lot of events like a Spring Carnival and Egg Hunt. They also upgraded the ice rink under the LA Kings brand. There's also lots of new restaurants. I found a new favorite via Pho Red Bo and I spotted a yummy dessert spot via Fika Fika Creamery. Though lots of change, it was nice to see Regal Promenade still here. This movie theatre was my go- to movie theatre a few years back and I have found memories of this spacious (not crowded) theatre. Overall, I was happy to visit the new Promenade PV. It's nice to see this outdoor area gaining more popularity and it's so refreshing to see the new restaurants and events they have here.

It's main feature is an ice skating rink, named the LA Kings Ice PV, used for as a community rink for skating and hockey. It has free parking via a large parking garage attached. It is no longer a shopping center (a lot of empty storefronts), but more a community space for Palos Verdes, with a large number of restaurants, a bunch of sporting and gaming facilities, and medical businesses, including a large UCLA health clinic. We came a week before Thanksgiving, and a beautiful Christmas tree was up, providing some good picture opportunities.

I always love to check the clearance section cause you find amazing deals for really good prices. I was looking for a pot holder crochet for the bathroom and scored one for $9.99 it was perfect to add a planter and add in the bathroom for decor. The customer service is great there I had a few questions about several items and they walked me over to where I'd be able to find them. Very helpful and kind I appreciated that. As far as the lines they a few people in line but you didn't have to wait so long they had all the cashiers open so it had a great flow. Over all experience here was great, the shopping area has lots of parking so that's not a problem to find a spot. Can't wait to be back!

The dress was unworn, with tags, security tag, with receipt and within timeline to receive refund. An older Asian Manager was called by the cashier to review the return. I launched my Tjmaxx account by phone to display the barcode for ease of locating the transaction on their system. She scanned the barcode and located the purchase history. I exited the website and closed my phone. The WiFi is very slow in this location. Then she demanded that I show her a picture of the item from my order history on my phone. NEVER HAS ANY OTHER TJMAXX STORE DEMANDED this for an online return. When the WIFI speed wouldn't relaunch the website she demanded that I tell her the purchase date and method of purchase. I told her that information was available from the scanned barcode. She disputed that which I know is a blatant lie. I have her the information. Then impatiently she said, I will just refund you, and doing me a favor. I have never experienced this disrespectful interaction at any TJMAXX store, and it is disgraceful to have employees who clearly have bias. Also, another female older cashier who appeared to be of middle eastern descent, saw me next in line and intentionally walked away from her register to organize hangers until I was called by the adjacent cashier. Shame on you TjMaxx. You need to secret shop at that store, and replace your racist employees.

I wish I had taken a before photo because my bag was covered in stains + the handles were so dirty from years of use. Gabriel completely transformed it. When I picked it up, it looked BRAND NEW. The leather is clean, refreshed, and restored so beautifully. you would never know how worn it was before. The craftsmanship, attention to detail, and care he puts into his work really shows. If you have any leather bags, shoes or items that need cleaning, restoration, or repair, don't take them anywhere else. Gabriel is a true expert and worth every penny. Thank you for bringing my bag back to life!

Picked them up about two weeks later (that is not how long he said it would take - I was traveling and requesting the later pick up). He requires payment in advance, in full - this was a huge red flag to me, but because of the positive reviews, I let it go. Arrived to pick up the boots and the lace holes had not been cut in. So he did it while I waited. Turns out, the holes were too small for the laces. He damaged the end of the lace trying to get them through. Said I just need to work it a bit more but if it doesn't go through, he'd have to replace the metal rivets and charge me more. He was eventually able to get the lace through one of the holes and sent me home to do the rest. When I asked about the damaged lace, he told me I could tape it up or buy new laces. I got home to finish the job. Had to use my husband's tools to try and make the holes a little bigger. As a result, some of the leather started cracking off - is leather supposed to do that?? I'm so angry. In fairness, I did not call the owner back to give him a chance to fix this mess. I don't trust he would actually do it. I debated a long time before leaving this review. I don't like leaving such negative reviews without giving the owner an opportunity to make right. But, in this case, it didn't seem that he cared that the job was not done well from the outset - why should he do anything; he already has the money. Then saying he would have to charge me more so I could lace the boots? Seeing the damaged laces and telling me to just tape it or buy new laces? This is not someone who cares about the end product. I did buy new laces but the holes were too small for the these as well. I tried two with the smallest diameters I could find. It wasn't the laces. I recently moved to the area. My prior shoe repair person charges far less and would NEVER return the shoes to me looking as these did. He took pride in his work. The shoes always came back looking brand new. And, while not cheap (taking care of good shoes is not cheap), I never paid as much as I did at San Pedro Shoe and Handbag. Sadly, he's an hours drive, one way. May just do that in the future though. About the only positive with this entire experience is that parking is quite ample. Just thought I should warn you. Would strongly recommend AGAINST paying in advance.

Review #923 2025-101…read more Located Peninsula Shopping Center, Five Below is a specialty discount gift shop chain that prices most of its products between $1.00 - $5.00, with some exceptional finds $5+. My son goes to Cantonese school across the street, & one of the moms mentioned there's a cute graphic tee that's perfect for our growing Chinese momentum: You're All That & Dim Sum! The tees section was quite large with lots to choose from. I got the dim sum tee for my 8 YO son, & also saw another tee (Born To Game Forced To Work... LMAO) that perfectly describes his latest transgression from studying, though there's not much to study or homework for that matter in elementary school. There's also toys & games, beauty products, candies & snacks, books, etc. They're similar to other discount stores like Dollar Tree & Daiso, but on the higher price tier with more variety & trend-focused products for the younger set. Customer service is efficient & friendly. I only waited a few minutes with a handful of people ahead of me. Parking is plentiful in the shopping center based on its location & doesn't compete much for spaces with the anchor stores or restaurants. Five Below is a great alternative for the bargain shopper! And now that the holidays are here... check 'em out for gift giving ideas.

They do have a good amount of selection at this location. It could use a lot of organization as some of the shelves and displays are in disarray. Sometimes I don't see what I'm looking for, but there are times when I see some items here that I don't see at any other locations. Today, I didn't see what I needed. Overall, okay. Just the same ol stuff they restock every year. They just change up the series and colors. Mass produced materialistic junk for the landfill.
