While walking my foster dog the other day I noticed a thrift store had recently opened where Dollar Store used to be located. The items sold in Bridge Thrift are all donated. 100% of the profits generated are given back to the community via support of local organizations that make an impact in their community. It's a great concept. I noticed another shop had opened in Glassell Park near my niece's house and they also have a store in San Diego. The Highland Park location has been open for 3 weeks, so the inventory was light when I went in. They had everything from shoes, clothing, accessories, furniture, household items, books and even 8 track tapes! I'm glad they opened up a location in my neighborhood because I have plenty of stuff to donate. *Metered street parking *Store credit given on returns *Donation drop off in the back alley.

We found some great stuff most of which was priced accordingly and the staff was super sweet

    Cute picks from the staff!

Absolutely love this store! They have a wide variety of clothing and house items. Half of my closet is now from here for anyone complaining about the price...it is absolutely reasonable and the clothing is in perfect condition! (Better than any other thrift near by..) staff (Briana, Jacks, Josie) is also super friendly and helpful (from the ones I've met lol)

Great customer service but the prices are ridiculously high! If I want to pay for services I probably won't go to a thrift store, will I?

Went to drop off some large furniture, and Erika in the back helped make the process so easy. A lovely experience, would go again.

Don't bother shopping here. They shouldn't be calling themselves a thrift store. What a misrepresentation. Prices are astronomical.

They get donations for free and sell them for more then the what actual owner paid., instead of thrift they should be called theft store.

This was a great thrift store for specific Western, lo-Cal vibes. With a sprinkle of military garb…read more I thought the holdings were pretty sparse. They did have great, authentic silver and turquoise. Service was unenthusiastic.

Raggedy Threads is my favorite vintage store in L.A. - no contest. Don't let this tiny little store…read more- located in a tiny little corner of Little Tokyo - fool you: It's like a treasure trove of rare finds. I've been on a huge vintage kick lately, so this store has been my go-to source for old tees. My reasons for going vintage are primarily environmental since the carbon footprint and resources needed to make new clothes are substantial - and incredibly wasteful when there's so much awesome used clothing out there. Another reason: Your friends can't copy your style. Most recently, I picked up a few tees from the 1970s and 80s. Being in L.A. they get a lot of local and California vintage shirts with logos, designs, and jokes that only true Californians would get. I couldn't resist buying a Castroville "Giant Artichoke" tee they had over the summer. Personally, I tend to gravitate towards regional finds like these because they bring back such great memories of my youth and of family road trips up and down my home state. They also carry old college (Go Bears!), high school, and everyone's favorite - summer camp tees. Plus, you cannot beat the vintage fit from the 70s/80s. Caveat: Today's "S" is equivalent to an "M" or bigger because people were presumably thinner back then. So do your part for the environment and look effortlessly stylish doing it by shopping used and vintage! And there's no better place in L.A. for this than Raggedy Threads.
