I could not figure out why the back of my neck began breaking out if the paperclip necklace purchased was real. Paid over $200 for it. It turns out the necklace broke in half and after taking it back to have it repaired per the OWNER of the store who mentioned it had a lifetime warranty they fixed it with a non-sterling silver. They even replaced it with a much smaller one instead of sending it out and replacing it with the same. There is a rude old women who works there with a very smart mouth who was nasty when the chain was brought in. Keeping in mind I'd been there before and never saw her. She claimed to be the store manager. Anyway I would not shop here or trust the good reviews they are dishonest and that is the bottom line. As you can see the chain was not repaired properly and the clasp is tarnished but the necklace is not. read more

Going to save the complaint since we will never ever shop there again. You had absolutely nothing to do with the sale, the owner did. You were not there. Not sure where you came from my friend. When the owner says there is a lifetime warranty for repairs what does that mean to you???? Step aside and have the owner call the customer. You can't lie to people and have a nobody tell you the chain was enjoyed. When you pay over 200 for it that's what it was purchased for. The next time you email your advertisement we will flag you. This store at the corner of Highland and 12th St is a "must stop" if you're in the area. We've passed by it all the time and never knew that the carried both men and women's clothing, shoes, and accessories. My husband just walked out with a new work backpack! The manager was so helpful and encouraged my husband to really check every pocket and take all the stuffing out so he can make sure he likes it. read more

Let's face it, defects exist in every capacity and I don't hold it against the seller when I draw the unlucky straw. Nonetheless I appreciate a business who takes care of their customers; in turn making them clients, which I fully intend to be. Usually don't shop in city when visiting the beach, but this place always drew my intrigue. Since wife's birthday coming up, decided to walk in this past Sunday. Glad I did. I usually walk down this street to get to the beach, avoiding crowded dippy-shits bumping into one another on Manhattan Beach Blvd. I was specifically looking for jewelry, and they have a terrific selection. Doesn't seem like a small boutique shop has big selection from outside but they have a ton more inside. The plating, finish, quality is terrific, and more than fair prices ( and I don't drive a Rolls Royce.) Saleslady was very friendly and patient, got a nice set, will be back. After spending several hundred dollars as a first time shopper (but local MB resident) I understand why many in town warned us off this shop. I had tried a pair of shoes that were quite tight. I was not going to buy them, but did so against my better judgement after the shopkeeper told me that I can return them if I try them again at home and they do not fit. I did try them at home and they did not fit so I went back to return them. The lady from whom I purchased said I can return them for a store credit. When I asked why she did not tell me this when she convinced me to try them at home, she said it's on my receipt. So I asked, the receipt you never sent me?? They never actually emailed this receipt (conveniently)... She said there's also a sign here on the register - which reads "Exchanges For Store Credit" no mention of returns for store credit. This woman is clearly a thief and I highly encourage you against shopping at this shop. read more

Horrible customer service!! Worst shopping experience I've ever had in Manhattan Beach. I special ordered a ring from the store that was supposed to be in the following week. My mother bought the same ring and a day or two later the ring stretched out. She actually was going to return it to the store, but she had already worn it and we were out of town. When I got back to town, I called about my ring I had ordered and they said it wasn't in yet and would call me when it got it. I told the person on the phone about my mothers ring stretching out and that I would like to be reimbursed for the ring. She said she would call me back. Long story short, weeks go buy and still no call back. I just called the store today and they said they had my ring. They then put me on hold and the owner of the store, I'm assuming, got on the phone and rudely stating "I know all about you and your complaint about your ring! There's nothing wrong with the ring! ". I'm totally shocked, because I'm being yelled at by the store owner, not being able to get a word in edgewise. I stated quickly when I had a chance to even speak, "Please, let me just finish what I was saying." She immediately got angry again and said " I remember you! If you want to go and write a bad review, Go ahead and 0do it. Then, HUNG up on me! I don't know what kind of customer service she has, but it shocked me! I will never shop there again. Oh, and my mother spent over $1000 on overpriced clothes. No wonder the store is always empty. read more
