Whenever we visit Manhattan Beach, I tend to window shop with my family in between spending time on the beach, hitting up a restaurant or treating ourselves to ice cream daily... On a recent trip, I walked by Katwalk several times and found myself eyeing one of the blouses on the mannequin each time, so I decided to go in and check it out for myself. I happened to be in a combo of workout clothes and an old sweater of my husband's that day, so needless to say, I wasn't looking so pretty. Even so, the ladies working were super attentive and helpful and not judgy, which I appreciated. They helped me find the blouse I liked in a size Medium -- (unfortunately there wasn't a Small) -- but I purchased it anyways as I found it super cute and the price very reasonable. I know that merchandise changes often as with most boutiques, but I would definitely visit Katwalk again based on my experience! read more

Katwalk is my go-to for everything: my favorite sweaters, a puff-sleeve tee, something a little more dressy, gifts (my friends, sister-in-law, and very chic nieces all say, "Get me something from Katwalk!" for their bday or holiday presents), and they have the BEST hats and jewelry! There is always something new and fresh in the store and everyone working there is welcoming and helpful to this very-indecisive shopper. I get the best treatment every time I visit Katwalk! Everyone is so friendly and always helps me pick the best gifts and, of course, items for myself! They have the cutest lounge sets right now - perfect for "safer at home". All of the staff are very COVID-safe as well - wear masks, offer sanitizer, have register guards, etc. :) read more

I don't generally shop in manhattan beach, as I live in Santa Monica and we have plenty of options. Walked in here on a whim trip to Manhattan beach. I seriously loved everything here. Whoever is the buyer for the store, knows trends and what to pick to put on the racks. I found a dress that looked almost exactly like a dress I had been desperately eyeing at LoveShackFancy but 1/4 the price! Mozied myself into this quaint little shop where 2 lovely young ladies were working. Music was inviting and kicking! I had a chance to smell the perfumed oil Kai which I must admit is worth EVERY penny! Light gardenia fragrance that leaves a lingering scent in your wake. Nice cute cloths (rompers galore), a plethora of jewelry options and trendy hats. I'll have to bring Little Bit here when she is in town as it is perfect for that cute petite gal. I'm pretty sure all their clothes (at least, the "katwalk" brand) come from the garment district downtown. The prices are low, yes, but the quality of the merchandise is abysmal. I started shopping here when I was in High School, during the early 2000s and they used to sell mid-priced, trendy celebrity coveted brands (I actually have a VeronicaM dress from here). Now, it's all cheap "Katwalk" clothes that you could buy in LA for $5. Also, I agree that the staff is unfriendly. read more

Katwalk has become my favorite shop in downtown Manhattan Beach. I go there for clothing as well as accessories. They have an entire rack of black, neutral, metallic, and animal print clothes... enough said for me! I prefer the clothing to Francesca's Collection (which I also love) because I find the sizing slightly more generous for adults here (Francesca's Collection has LMU sorority girls as its ideal demographic for dresses and sweaters). They also have a nice selection of jewelry in the vein of Stella + Dot type stuff, but cheaper. If you look at my previous reviews, you'll see that last year I used to think, like some other reviewers, that the staff was unfriendly. However, my experiences over the last few months have been really positive. I know that the owner has re-trained her staff and looked to step up service, and it shows. If you haven't been to Katwalk in a while, give it another try. Also - like them on Facebook, because occasionally they offer special deals for ladies who have done so. read more

Cute boutique, with trendy and not too pricey clothes, at least in comparison to the rest of the shops in the area. But as the other reviewers have said the store is a hit or miss. I make a trip here when I am in town, but only a few times have I been lightheaded by the inventory. I will be back in a few weeks though, crossing my fingers, momma wants a new dress! read more

I have been shopping at Katwalk since it's grand opening in Hermosa Beach in the early 2000's. When I moved to San Francisco and was STOKED when the online shop opened (www.shopkatwalk.com). I love the fact that I can buy trendy, stylist clothing at reasonable prices. Most things go out of style within a season and I love being able to afford to look good without going in to credit card debt. I still have MANY articles of clothing I have bought there over the years and continue to shop there when I am in town visiting. Reasonable prices and spot on style. What's not to LOVE!?!? read more

Had to renew my review after shopping there for Christmas! My nieces, who are 19 and 21, don't live here but insist on shopping there every time they visit so of course, had to go in for their Christmas gifts. The girls at the shop were so helpful and patient while we picked out what turned out to be the perfect gifts. But I can't help when I go in there thinking that the clothes are from downtown LA from those cheap whole sale shops and then brought into Kat Walk with the prices jacked WAY up. SO - since the Hermosa Beach location is closed, I made the trip to the Manhattan location expecting to find the same great selection and low prices. I was sorely disappointed. The clothing was very poor quality, and the layout of the store made it extremely hard to shop (poor organization). It was cramped and the other clientèle were rude at best. Prices were higher than they should have been, and the clothes were average at best - too trendy for their own good. The staff was snobby and unapproachable. I won't be going back. read more

Katwalk is great for casual, trendy summer style. Jenni at Katwalk is one of the most helpful and pleasant sales associates to work with. She is darling, knows their merchandise, has great taste, and super friendly (this should be a given, but rarely is). I have a fun time shopping at Katwalk every summer. Really cute + affordable! There was hardly anything in the store that I didn't want to pick up and try on. The only downside is that almost everything comes in XS/S/M/L, so if you're trying on shorts or pants, it's difficult to figure out what size you are. I'm from out of town, and there's a website where you can order and they'll ship to you all across the country, which is fab! read more

It's too bad the staff here have such bad attitudes and lack of business sense or even manners. Everytime me and my friends have been to this store (which has cute clothes by the way) we are barely acknowledged by the staff who look and treat us like we barged into their living room during a party we weren't invited to. I feel like someone should tell them that the store is not their house and that they actually WORK there. But if I tried to they would just ignore me anyway.
