I love their clothes, but my experience at the La Jolla store was less than desirable. I have purchased way too many items from this company and this store in particular to be treated the way I was treated. I guess I should say was not treated because I was completely ignored by the sales person when I walked in. I was looking at the hats and she was standing right at the counter where the hats are located. She never greeted me or made eye contact. Another customer walked in and she walked up and said, welcome and spoke to them, walked back to the counter, where I was looking at hats and was radio silent. I waited around for a little bit, and then I decided to take my business elsewhere. I will shop at aviator nation, but not in La Jolla. read more

During Aviator Nation's 2025 Memorial Day sale, I bought a pair of sweatpants in the same size as two other pairs I already own. Unfortunately, the sizing has completely changed--the new pair was 10 inches longer and much narrower in the waist. When I went to my local store to exchange them, I was told they were final sale and not eligible for exchange, even for a different size. I won't be shopping at AN again. Their sizing is inconsistent, and their rigid exchange policy--despite a clear shift in fit--is unreasonable. It's a short-sighted approach that cost them a loyal customer, earned them a negative review, and will lead me to share this disappointing experience with others. read more

Got a great workout at the store when I came for a yoga sculpt class. Felt the burn in my legs and the instructor really pushed us. I hope they do more events like this! As an event space it feels roomy and it's colorful. The only downside is there is no restroom. read more

Very soft fabric cool vibes. Sizing is weird though so be prepared. I'm a standard S/M women's in person but I like things a little loose so it's comfortable if lunch is heavy. I bought a large men's pant and a women's small sweatshirt. Cute clothes. Definitely would have bought something but the employees seemed to proceed as if they have never seen two latinas in the store. They kept staring like we were freaks or trying to steal something. The only reason for two stars is I actually like the 70s. As for the workers do better to not stare at people like they have three heads. I may have not walked in looking my best but I was out for a walk with my friend to lift my spirits. This definitely put a damper on things. We left highly disappointed. Do better. read more

Customer Service is bad! The shopping experience ruined my day. My husband got me a gift card for Valentine's Day. I was excited to shop. No one helped me. I stood by the fitting room waiting for someone to help. They just watched me stand there I had to walk up to the girl to ask for assistance. She had an attitude. They all had attitudes. I go to check out and I pull out my gift card. She yells "oh you're paying with a gift card". Huh?? It's a $300 gift card. In what world is paying with a gift card unacceptable. It's a form of payment. I purchased more than what I had in GC. I purchased a sweat suit set. Total was almost $400. Honestly, after that service I didn't want to purchase anything but unfortunately you can't return a gift card. The sales reps are terrible. I will never shop there again! read more

OMG where do I even begin... This is the best retail store in California - period, full stop. The service is unforgettable. The whole staff is so friendly and inviting. It's just such a fun place to hang out and do some shopping. AND THE MANAGER IS AN ABSOLUTE QUEEN AND I LOVE HER. She makes everyone in that store, customers and staff, feel valued and respected. You can tell how hard she works to hold this store at such high standards of experience and service. BUYER BEWARE! While their clothing is cute and soft, please know that the rack outside the store of final sale items is HEAVILY DAMAGED and the staff only says it is "styles that are going away." It hurts so bad to pay $70 on a pair of sweatpants only to see that they have been sliced by a razor through the leg. While I am all for Aviator Nation selling their damaged clothing, they should be much more upfront with their customers. Really not nice... and they wouldn't swap them out with another pair on the sale rack... I am heading back to Vuori! read more

My first interaction wasn't too warm when we walked in but eventually I was helped by Chloe and she's an absolute gem. She went above expectations to assist me in getting the item for my daughter. She offered to call other stores and ship my item to my home as it was sold out everywhere. She would be the only reason I would return to that location as no other staff offered further help. The first young lady was nonchalant; however, I know she's young and learning so in time she may get better. Chloe was a sweetheart and a genuinely nice person. Love Aviator Nation! Actually, have been thoroughly obsessed since 2012. Buy a ton online. Also, the new APP is awesome. It's almost too easy. The stores are a fantastical time machine back to the 70s. The authenticity of the atmospheric vibe is unparalleled. We love our Manhattan Beach "rainbow store." The staff are the absolute coolest. So sweet and kind and attentive. Riley, the store manager, slays at all things customer service. She's such a joy to interact with. She is always consistently welcoming and rad. While I would love to rave about Aviator Nation because I adore their casual aesthetic the quality is not up to my standards so a couple stars get dropped. The fit is just about perfect. The materials are thin, don't wear well, and pill. They are soft so that is the trade off there. The zippers and pull strings are cheap. For the prices being asked I thought the clothes would be high quality and long lived which they have proven not to be. I'm disappointed and really hope this is something the brand improves upon because I do stand by the aesthetics and fit. read more

My husband bought me a sweatsuit online at Aviator Nation for Valentines Day. They were running a 20% off deal. I went into this store to get a different size pant--same style, same color. When the guy checked me out, he said that I had to pay the difference in price. I asked what difference in price? I'm just making an exchange. He proceeded to tell me that the 20% discount wouldn't be honored bc that was online and a different day. What?? Who does that? So I complained about how ridiculous that is, paid and left. When I got home, I called the flagship store in Venice, who promptly said that is not the policy and gave me a refund. Will not be returning to MB store. read more
