I looked at flip flops and ended up getting a pair of Nikes in my size. I also saw a pair of Olukai casual shoes and would have picked it up if it fit. The salesperson near the dressing room had access to inventory and told me there wasn't any in my size. That saved me a lot of time looking up and down the aisles. I told her I was here for the event and I saw it on Instagram. It does not say anywhere that it was a private event or it was by invitation only. Also, there was no check-in or guest list at the event. Another staff member asked me to leave because he said I was looking at websites on my phone and comparison shopping. He falsely accused me of doing something I was not, but even if I was, I don't understand why that would be an issue. Also, after a bartender had already served me a cocktail, the staff asked me to show my passport because they said I didn't look old enough to drink. Why would I need to carry my passport to attend events or go shopping? By the way, I am over 50 years old. In addition, another staff commented they were concerned that I was event hopping. I asked why that would be an issue and she simply said it sounded like I was just going to events. This staff member didn't know what events I was attending and what I had purchased at the other events and it shouldn't matter as well. I am still shocked at what happened on Saturday.
