I picked out a pretty little floral dress that fit perfectly, and only $22! Open 7 days a week until 6pm. There are a couple curtain dressing rooms and you can try anything on. The owner is very welcoming and sweet. I asked her if there was a Yelp page, and her response was hilarious...that she's old & doesn't social media. So I told her I would start one up for her business. I will definitely be coming back to check out her new items next time I'm back in the downtown Manhattan Beach area.

Sara helped me for the duration I was in the store and was absolutely sweet, kind and thoughtful throughout everything. As I'm almost at the door one of the employees is chasing after me yelling repeatedly "did you hang it up where you got it from?". I have no idea why she would find the need to chase me down and yell that, making every patron look at us. Did she think I was stealing a $700 sweater? Honestly, I was fully expecting to arrive to a full Nordstrom department store but as I was getting closer and closer, I realized that couldn't be the case. Alas, Norstrorm Local - a storefront where you can pick up and return Nordstrom orders as well as get alterations. As long as you know going into it that this is what it is - it's fantastic and super convenient. My lower-than-normal three star rating stems from the less than friendly staff. Sure, I was absolutely grateful they accepted my return but wish the customer service was a little bit better, especially because I had already started the return and had a barcode for the employee to scan (they were not interested). Oh well. I'm sure I'll find myself here again in the future, hopefully next time the employees will join me in having a smile on their faces.
