As a first-time Lululemon customer, I was extremely disappointed with my experience. This is a basic step that should never be missed, especially for a high-end brand like Lululemon. To make matters worse, I live about an hour away from the store. This mistake now requires me to make an extra trip solely because of an employee oversight, which is very inconvenient and time-consuming. With gas, traffic, and my personal schedule, this is not a small inconvenience. I called the store to address the issue and spoke with the manager. While the manager apologized, that was the extent of the response. This was not my mistake, and simply apologizing does not make up for the inconvenience, time, and effort this has caused me--especially as a first-time customer. When customers are paying premium prices, they expect careful attention to detail and a smooth checkout experience. I feel that some form of compensation should have been offered, given that this situation was entirely avoidable and due to staff oversight. Employees should be more careful when handling expensive merchandise. This experience left me frustrated and disappointed, and it has definitely impacted my first impression of the brand.

Nevermind the fact that my mother and I spend thousands annually with the brand, and at this location in particular-(see my previous reviews here particularly the one where I dropped $300 plus on that new Channel Blue) not too long ago! No wonder why they're reviews and stars here so low. While the cologne Dept is staffed with pros, the furniture- bedding and mattress department leaves a lot to be desired-unless of course this timeline or deadline is to how long someone can stay seated is written into policy. I proceeded to make my way downstairs within another department entirely to ask about talking to a manager. Within less than ten minutes a Manager named Terry (female) came down to listen to my complaint, and informed me that she would have a "talk with the individual in question"-whatever that entails. I asked the manager wether or not there was an official Macy's policy that gave staff or associate's of Macy's (particularly within the mattress or furniture department) the ability or authority to actually TIME how long said person can be sitting at or within the furniture department and whether or not the staff had the authority to ask them to leave kindly or otherwise-she indicated there was in fact no such policy. I'll be reaching out to Macy's Corporate come this Monday to follow up-and ensure that no such policy exists, and just what the boundaries or limitations are going forward to save other people the awkwardness and embarrassment of having to get up and move off the furniture- particularly when all they were going to do was to be seated for a few more minutes anyways. What an overall embarrassment and a joke to the realm of customer service!

She was welcoming, warm, and willing to offer any needed assistance. She went out of her way to make me feel like anything I may need - she was there for it! I appreciate that the store was well stocked and had every size available in the items I was wanting to purchase. This was great for me since the size I needed is unavailable a lot of times in many stores. Best of all I was happy about the pricing for my items. Their stock is made of premium materials, so I understand the high tag prices, which is why I love it when they have great sales available. The store was clean and well kept. Music was playing at mid-level which made it easy to have a conversation without straining. There are no steps or curbs that would prevent handicap access. There are many handicap parking spaces available in the many parking lots and structures surrounding the mall.

That was a little surprising since it had only been about a month and it was full price when she ordered it. From what we could tell, she probably meant "old" in retail terms, like it had been in the store for a while, but it came across a bit brusque at first and made the interaction feel awkward. To her credit, she warmed up as the conversation went on and everything ended up being fine. It was just a strange start. The store itself is very nice and the products are beautiful. Johnny Was has some really lovely pieces. That said, the online and in-store sides of the business do not seem totally in sync. The dress was full price when my wife ordered it, then the price dropped week after week afterward. Trying to chase price adjustments is irritating and a waste of time. Who wants to keep reaching out about that? Prices, discounts, and adjustments seem to work differently online versus in the store, which makes the whole process confusing. In the end it was not a huge issue, just an odd experience overall.
