If you see face masks,on the glass it says $2.99 2 for $5. So,I picked out mask on their wall,I was charged $5.25, when I asked y,the Mgr said because it is,I said no, your sign says $2.99, 2 for $5. Not $6. You took my $5.25,I am not giving mask back or $$$. The best homemade donuts in Phoenix. Homemade, opens at 4a everyday. The workers & owners are great. Love the maple, maple bacon, blueberry filled & all.

Nutella cronut and iced Vietnamese coffee

I love this place! Especially their cronuts and Vietnamese coffee! The Vietnamese coffee is something special off menu, so ask about it. It's iced and just the right amount of sweet and espresso. Everything here is great, donuts, breakfast sandwiches, coffee and of course the cronuts.

    Cronut, just bread.

Incompetent staff, lack of any customer service. My wife and I went in here on national donut day to treat ourselves to a half dozen. As a treat we both got cronuts which cost a bit more. We noticed the cronuts didn't have any topping in them as they normally do. They reassured me that there was filling inside. She got one with topping I said it's okay as long as there the Nutella filling inside. We got home. I bit into my cronut, ate the whole thing. Not any filling whatsoever. I call to inform them and there was no conversation about, "hey we can offer you a free cronut next time." or, "we can offer you a refund." or anything really. Instead the employee says when I advise them of what happened, "oh, okay sorry." followed by a launch pause. I said "so?". No response. Horrible service. Incompetent staffing. Bye rainbow donuts you lost a customer.

Love cronuts???? Omg this place has tons of them. Different flavors too! I've never seen a place with so many different kinds. I really wished they had a location in Vegas because I'm having a hard time just finding a place that sells cronuts to begin with. I tried them and they were so soft and flaky! 5 stars!! They also have a large assortment of donuts, larger that most. I tried the glaze with red velvet crushed toppings..highly suggested! I'll be back when I'm in AZ again

In our day's Sunnyslope business, our niece took us to Kris Frybread. Arriving we saw Dawn's. She said Dawn's gets high ratings too. After our excellent Kris meal I made my way to Dawn's. I am infamous in the family for my dessert rxtravagance. But I share with all at our table. Take your choice! Our niece got cannoli, I got lidded shortbread custard cups, vanilla and almond. Sweet D got a cherry and an apple turnover delivered into the box. It is five days later. My sugar intake has dropped a lot. In our home baking we cut sugar ingredients by half. Older Hopi bakers put in enough sugar for a hint of sweet in their cookies. Modern bakers glaze them. I'll take those traditional ones. When I say the shortbread cup with custard was too sweet for me, that's my 21st century palate speaking. The almond cup was a buy-again item for me, still sweet, very almond. The cherry turnover was flaky, the filling tart, oozing fillng and cherries. The gold medal, blue ribbon "I'd buy this again, for sure is the apple turnover. We will return for some more flaky, apple-y goodness. The webpage makes mymouth water. I see many items are normal and mini sized. Great idea Dawn.

We've worked our way through what feels like almost the entire dessert case over the years, and I can honestly say I've yet to find something I didn't love. Every pastry is beautifully crafted, incredibly fresh, and tastes like it was made with so much care. This visit was all about the cannoli, and let me just say... craving officially satisfied! The shell had that perfect crisp snap, while the filling was silky, rich, and just the right amount of sweet. It was everything I had been dreaming about and then some. Walking into The Sicilian Baker always feels like stepping into a little slice of Italy. Between the gorgeous display of desserts and the irresistible aroma of fresh pastries, it's nearly impossible to leave with just one treat (don't say I didn't warn you! ). Whether you're stopping in for a post-dinner dessert, celebrating something special, or simply giving in to a sweet tooth like I did, this place is absolutely worth the visit. Every dessert we've tried has been phenomenal, and this cannoli was another delicious reminder of why we keep coming back. Sweet craving? Check. Happiness? Double check.

Have a meal at The Sicilian Butcher and then follow that up with dessert at The Sicilian Baker. There are several locations in town, with this one being in North Phoenix. On my most recent visit, I stopped by on a Thursday. Parking tends to be busy in their complimentary lot, but you'll find a spot. Ambiance (4/5): The Sicilian Baker is connected to The Sicilian Butcher. It's a small bakery, with only a few seats. More of a grab-and-go type of spot or the source of your dessert if you're dining at the restaurant. While small, the decor and ambiance is nice. Service (3/5): A little bit of bad luck, but on my most recent visit, they were having trouble with their refrigeration so no gelato was available. While interacting with the staff, it was an average experience. I will say that the service was much better in the restaurant. Drinks (N/A): I only got dessert, but they do have coffee and a few other beverages available. Food (4/5): The Sicilian Baker is known for its cannolis, tiramisu, gelato, and lobster claws (dessert, not real lobster haha). On my most recent visit, I had a cannoli. They have your classic cannoli but also a nice variety of other fillings including pistachio, Reese's, and more. A+ for creativity, though I decided to stick with the classic. Solid. In fact, all of the desserts I've had here over the years have been quite good.
