I was excited to try this place after seeing it was close to our hotel. When we arrived there was a band playing and we sat at the bar. I got a dozen wings and my wife got steak frites. Her fries were cold. We asked for new ones and they came back only slightly warmer. My wings were ok. Not as flavorful as I would've liked. Service was ok. I don't think I would go back if I was in the area, which is too bad.

Food just wasn't good. I really think what they are going for is a bar first and foremost and then a place for social events. Other than that the food is an after thought. Chips tasted stale, sauce for Mac and cheese bites was horrible, and the cheesesteak egg rolls felt more like the filling of the other offered egg roll. Just unimpressed but the trivia was nice.

My sister, niece, and nephew took us here for a late night outing on our last night of our last visit back in VA. It was fun spot to hang out for a late night. We sat outside and enjoyed the less busy ambiance. It was a little busier inside. I just had dessert, which was yummy.

Came here after a ride around for a bit of an escape from the cold! We got a meat pizza which was nice to share! The service was very nice and I had loved the atmosphere! They have many pinball machines and people dancing to latin music on the dance floor! I'll have to learn to join them next time 3000%. It's a nice place to have a little fun!

We came for happy hour (goes 'til 7!). Neely was our waitress and she was terrific - attentive without being overbearing. Jerry (one of the owners) sat and talked with us a while. Despite the music and decent crowd, it was easy to converse with my friend. My friend had the Pretty Little Liar and I had sangria (yummy). We ate: heirloom carrots - good but not as memorable as the other dishes Fried halloumi- absolute perfection Short rib-zaa - really, really tasty combo of flavors on delicate buttery crust Lobster deviled eggs - I enjoyed the tempura lobster and my friend loved the deviled eggs. This dish was on the house (thanks!!). They had lots of other dishes that sounded delicious and we will definitely be back!

Came randomly for lunch, wanted to try it for a longtime, came with a toddler and dog We sat outside very nice seating with sofas and tvs to watch games, I can imagine it getting super busy in evenings Food was fresh and served hot surprisingly decent veggie options too Server was very nice.

This was the only new spot we tried while in town visiting my in laws and it was so good! The lobster pj&j is something I'll be talking about for a while. The short rib pizza was also something special. Glad they had some pinball & virtual golf since they seemed to be short staffed. While the food & drinks came out quickly the wait for the check dragged on a bit. Other than that slight delay, everything was amazing and we'll probably add this to our regular rotation when we're in town.

FOOD/DRINK: 4/5 SERVICE: 5/5 EXPERIENCE: 5/5 Well, helloooo to the revamped Bungalow Alehouse! The vibe is totally different from the Alehouse, which is welcomed. It is more hip hop/90s vibe and more high top seating instead of the pool table. There are also pinball machines. The renovations were quick! LoCo definitely needed this - we were starving for a tapas place! Service was great! Our waitress, Emi, offered suggestions on what to get and even made a drink I wanted into a mocktail! They also have a few mocktails under the "sober curious" section of the menu. The owner's wife stopped by at the end to ask how everything was as well (I didn't know until I saw on Facebook when she commented!). I got a butterfly pea flower lemonade (mocktail of "pretty lil liar" drink), while hubby ordered the fallin' off cocktail ($10). We ordered the grilled halloumi cheese ($9), chicken lollipops ($15), blistered shishito peppers ($9), and rounding out with the halva blondie ($16). FOOD/BEV: -butterfly pea flower lemonade / mocktail - very good and refreshing! more lemonade than anything but it was fun. AND they only charged us $3! -fallin' off cocktail - hubby deemed it as "really good" - I had a sip and deemed it as too strong but I rarely drink -grilled halloumi cheese - this is such an unexpected combo but the grilled cheese with the pomegranate seeds was really great. the chef really thought about textures! -chicken lollipops - we didn't particularly care for these. the sauce was too sweet and some of the lollipops were too fatty. a steep $15 price tag deemed it not worth getting again -blistered shishito peppers - wonderful rendition of a classic app - the green goddess dressing and the walnut dust really elevated the dish. dipping them into the dressing was hands-on, too. both of us drew a spicy one this time! -halva blondie - the STAR of the show! we did get it without the whipped cream, as i am lactose intolerant, but it didn't really need it (or rather, it was great without it). the blondie had a peanut buttery taste and the coffee anglaise matched it perfectly. hubby STILL talks about this dessert and it was a week ago. NOTE: they have since changed their menu - the shishito peppers are no longer on it and they have pizza and sammies now! They also have a DJ on Saturdays but it wasn't too loud. Even though the chicken lollipops weren't great, I've bumped up this review to 5 stars due to everything else. We can't wait to come back.

Burger, hummus, and more

Been hearing some things about this new place and today I got my chance to check it out. They are now open for lunch, which worked out great. Very bright "graffiti-like" paintings on the walls, lots of TVs going to catch all the sports action. My far the most unique menu options in Ashburn, blend of Mediterranean, Greek, and more. Items like lobster PB&J to a variety of small plates and handhelds. Andre was our server and was on top of everything, made some great recommendations and answered our questions. My wife had the hummus, that Chef John came out and talked to us about, a long time family recipe from Greek, it was the best hummus I have every had. I had the Arayes Burger, think of sliders in pita, outstanding! The only knock I would give them, and it's small, is the music, too loud Beyonce, Katy Perry, pop junk. I will be back soon for dinner.

Fried Halloumi (cheese cubes) were crunchy and yummy. Flavor is well-balanced and not too sweet

Delicious and refreshingly different type of place in Ashburn Village where Bungalow Alehouse used to be! The service is phenomenal (they try to locally source their ingredients) and it's a really cool vibe! Let's start with the food...So they have some great small plates to try with a seasonal rotating menu. I was with a couple of people and we tried so many plates (at least 8)! My favorite thing about their food was an overall well-balanced and well-seasoned menu. There's a lot of flavor in most dishes without being too salty or strong. The seafood was all cooked perfectly from the tempura shrimp to lobster. I thoroughly enjoyed the deviled lobster eggs and the yellowfin tacos!! Soooo yummy! We were regulars when it was Bungalow Alehouse and the layout is pretty much the same but even more screens! It's a good place to watch football or other sports. The staff are so friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and always on top of refills! Andre is great as is Jerry. The decor is very unique for Ashburn with a casual vibe. Graffiti art everywhere is really cool with old school hip hop playing when I was there. For REALLY good REAL food in a cool atmosphere (not stuffy) with good people you should definitely check it out. The place is big and open, has plenty of seating (pool tables gone), and lots of outdoor seating. I cannot say enough good things and hope people go check out this new place!!

Small plates everyone got to share and try a bit

Had a very large group for a birthday dinner. I initially did have some trouble getting confirmation making the reservation, but after sending an email, the staff quickly reached out and answered all my questions and got the reservation squared away. It was pretty busy when we came in but got a nice spot tucked away from the outdoor party, so we were able to have a nice dinner without being overwhelmed. Towards the end, the band moved indoors due to the rain so it did get louder but it was at the tail end of dinner. They were sweet enough to do a small birthday bit weaved into their song as they were playing. This place has a very casual vibe but can be a bit loud. Lot of party vibes but chill and welcoming for guests to mill around, have a good time with the music. Some of us went around to browse the selection of games. Service was slow as they seemed to be understaffed since our waiter was manning multiple stations of the restaurant, but they were able to provide everything correctly. Food was a tad pricey but exceptional! We will return again soon!

Silent Wings is a Coffee Brown Ale from Honor Brewing out of Sterling, Virginia. As a veteran myself, I have a massive amount of respect for this veteran-owned local outfit. The brew is excellent--smooth and flavorful with a distinct coffee profile. While it was delicious in April, the flavor profile strikes me as a perfect fit for a fall or winter evening. I'll definitely be looking to stock up on this again once the weather cools down. I may never make it out to Sterling but will keep an eye out for the brew!

Our group hung out outside, where they have a large area with campfire pods, which was really nice since it was a little chilly that night. I'm not much of a beer drinker, so I appreciated that they had non-beer options on the menu along with non-alcoholic drinks as well. Emily did an awesome job taking care of our party, especially since we were a pretty large group celebrating a birthday. I'd definitely recommend getting the s'mores basket (it was a big hit with everyone). My mojito was pretty good too. One thing I'd mention is that it's probably better to order directly through your server or at the bar instead of using the QR code ordering system. We tried ordering drinks through the QR code and they never came out, even after waiting around 30 minutes. Thankfully, Emily saved the day and got everything sorted out for us.

We have tried…read moremany of the restaurants in Ashburn but have ended up at Original Steakhouse for a host of reasons. Their kids menu is adequate and he can always get kid-friendly food that he wants. The little guy is very picky and eats like a kid and OS food works for him. He especially likes the hot sweet dinner rolls that we always get before the meal. The atmosphere is great in the bar. I've been going to OS since it opened as "All-American" long ago (under then questionable ownership). The bar with projectors showing sports all around you with a large traditional bar in the middle with plenty of taps is a great room. (ASIDE: I always found it odd that they installed 4:3 aspect ratio screens and it is mildly annoying that all the TVs are stretched. Just show the HD with bars on top and bottom please. Stop with the stretching please!!!!) The prices are fair and low. They always have specials and have a great happy hour special that lasts longer than most of the competition. We can get out of there with two good meals and ice cream for the little guy for $10-15 less than even the cheap local chain restaurants! PLEASE keep the place affordable - going out to eat is SO EXPENSIVE in Ashburn and I dislike fast food; it's really nice to have a good sit-down restaurant where I can get a beer and my son can get a Shirley Temple and both of us eat a good meal for under $50.

Then another 10 minutes came the steak, they initially gave me a baked potato instead of a sweet potato initially but they fixed it quickly upon being told. The steak was cooked to a proper medium temperature. My strip had good seasoning, however the quality of it kinda tasted a bit cheap (not much marbling). Service was kinda bad with the waiter not checking up on us and waiting over 15 minutes to get the bill even though it wasn't that crowded. Overall I was not blown away, and perhaps a bit disappointed with the quality and taste. Food(50%): 5.2 Staff/service(25%): 5.0 Value(25%): 6.0 Overall: 5.4/10

Ratio is usually 5:1 men to women here. Of course an insecure man would say that Lol gtfoooooo. Let me express myself. Nothing I said excludes anybody. It's giving "all lives matter" type energy. Telling the crowd this song centers women does not exclude men, it's quite literally the artistic lens of the song itself. He was reaching so hard no matter how you spin it. Before I went up, he had the nerve to also audit my song for "explicitness" and it felt v racially charged when nothing was explicit about the other song I did. He interrupted my song twice!!!!!!! Karaoke is an art form and is all about a welcoming atmosphere and it just lacked that tonight. Karaoke is supposed to be a fun experience, not one where you are critiqued and scolded, especially when you don't fit the mold of their average customer (white men over 35). Energy is everything and I was not a fan this place. Also their typical song choices are trash unless you like niche country songs which were like 95% of the songs and people just stand around.
