This small boutique specializes in female clothing, accessories, and fun knick knacks. I purchased my favorite corduroy pants here, as well as a few tops/dresses. I love that every item is unique and you won't find it copy/pasted across the Venice boardwalk. It's also a great place to search for the perfect gift. I found a dainty gemini necklace for one of my best friends and she's worn it non-stop for months. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area! While the items aren't cheap, they're definitely more affordable than the majority of Abbot Kinney shops.

The best is to call (which I have) if you have any questions. However there are times when calling is not option but sending an email is. This shop is definitely more of a go in with a purpose or if you're looking for specific items. It isn't a run of the mill clothing store where things are messily thrown in big containers that double as the display cases. Odd amount to call about, but I was out of town and didn't call back right away. The next day I answered a call (that turned out to be from them) asking for someone else entirely. Assuming the number was possibly spam, I googled the number, saw it was Trove, and then emailed them directly, saying I understood I owed 33 cents and asking for an invoice. They corrected me. I actually owed $33, not 33 cents, they couldn't send an invoice by email, and wanted me to call and give my card info over the phone instead. After everything already off with this (the wrong number call, the 33-cent voicemail, no email invoicing), I didn't feel comfortable reading my card number to someone over the phone. I offered to stop by in person instead, and asked in advance if they could have a receipt ready showing my original 33 cent charge, so I wouldn't be making the trip for nothing. I rearranged my lunch break to make this happen and showed up as planned. No receipt. They said they'd emailed it, but I'd specifically asked for a printed copy, the least they could do given this was their error to begin with. That request took several days notice and still didn't happen. Their printer was "acting up," so I got no receipt for the original charge and none for the new $33 charge, either! An error on their end turned into a special trip, wasted time on my lunch break, and still no paperwork to show for any of it. Disappointing customer service, especially when the customer is the one who has to burn their own time fixing your mistake. Edited to add, following their reply: I was never contesting the dollar amount being charged. I was happy to pay for what I purchased. I stated that they asked me to call in my card over the phone. I addressed why I was uncomfortable with doing that, and had asked for a way to provide payment electronically. When that option was not available I offered to come in. My disappointment is that despite their error, the wrong amount owed left on my voicemail, a random "wrong number" phone call from them, and inability to accept payment over something like square invoicing / Venmo / etc., all I asked for was a printed receipt. If someone has to make time to come in and fix your error, it's the least you could have done. I'm now even more disappointed in them after this response.

Terribly disappointed in R&B customer service after ordering 3 versions of the same sweater to determine best customer fit only to discover the item was final sale. I normally would not take issue with this policy, but contacted the company regarding their misleading and deceptive marketing practices in this instance. The 'final sale' notice was provided in the most microscopic print and required scrolling down the website page to see. R&B opted to dig their heels in and stick it to me. Vuori is located on the first shopping block on Abbot Kinney (if you're coming from Main St). Upon entering, it's easy to find the counter towards the back of the store, and I was greeted by the blonde girl working. Letting her know an item was on hold, she directed me over to the fitting room. I saw two doors open but one had clothing in it, but another employee offered assistance, letting me in the other open room. I wanted to make sure the fit was proper, so I walked on out and the same employee was there to help. She was very informative, and said the fit depended on how you wanted the length to be, if you wanted them low or higher on the hips, etc. I knew I had made the right choice. Even though I had planned on wearing these primarily on flights, I have a feeling they'll be sneaking into my weekly wardrobe. Same girl rang me up, and this was a seamless transaction. She also sent me an offer code via email so I was able to save on my next purchase (which I already used on another pair of joggers). The name 'Shawn S' was on the bottom of the receipt, and I was here back in later March on a Monday. I'm starting to check out Vuori's site more now, and I'm happy my experiences with the company have improved immensely.

Parking anywhere near and around this location is also utter chaos on weekends so give yourself plenty of time if you're on a schedule and I would recommend parking in the lots on the back side of Electric Ave (just behind Abbott Kinney) OR drive into the neighborhoods a few blocks and see if you get lucky there too.
