I just wanted to say what an incredible experience I had at Vuori yesterday. My husband had to exchange a size for a birthday gift. We haven't been to that store before so I called ahead to see if they had the right size. I spoke to the manager Nelly, who helped me. She was so incredibly gracious and nice that it really made an impression on me. I mentioned to my husband before we even came to the store how lucky Vuori was to have Nelly working for the shop. You could tell she clearly LOVED her job and really loved what she did. The clothing is incredible high-quality but the customer service is something that is over the top. I would recommend this store to anybody and I would recommend that the management consider Nelly for a promotion. She is doing your Brand WONDERS!! I was searching for a specific pair of pants in a hard-to-find size, so I wised up and called ahead to make sure they carried them before heading over to Venice. The nice girl over the phone said they showed one pair, but wanted to physically check inventory to confirm. They did have them, and she set them aside for the day. Vuori is located on the first shopping block on Abbot Kinney (if you're coming from Main St). Upon entering, it's easy to find the counter towards the back of the store, and I was greeted by the blonde girl working. Letting her know an item was on hold, she directed me over to the fitting room. I saw two doors open but one had clothing in it, but another employee offered assistance, letting me in the other open room. I wanted to make sure the fit was proper, so I walked on out and the same employee was there to help. She was very informative, and said the fit depended on how you wanted the length to be, if you wanted them low or higher on the hips, etc. I knew I had made the right choice. Even though I had planned on wearing these primarily on flights, I have a feeling they'll be sneaking into my weekly wardrobe. Same girl rang me up, and this was a seamless transaction. She also sent me an offer code via email so I was able to save on my next purchase (which I already used on another pair of joggers). The name 'Shawn S' was on the bottom of the receipt, and I was here back in later March on a Monday. I'm starting to check out Vuori's site more now, and I'm happy my experiences with the company have improved immensely. read more

I had never heard of Vuori prior to visiting Venice but then again, I'm not an outdoorsy, let's go camping & hiking kinda girl. TBH, I only went in because it was Valentine's Day & they were making free coffee for customers! They had a small counter set up with 2 very pretty baristas making 5 different kinds of iced cappuccino & iced matcha. I got Earl Grey Iced Cappuccino & it was so good with lots of heavy cream! The store itself has Women's on the right side of the store, socks & hats display in the middle as a "divider", Men's on the left. I liked that they had their athletic pants in different inseam sizes! I wished they had some color to their clothing as their items come in black, gray, cream, dark browns. No pink, red, blue, etc. The fabric materials of the clothing felt solid and good quality. I browsed around but since I'm a city girl at heart, I didn't see anything I would buy. If you're looking for no-nonsense, comfortable, high quality clothing for your weekend hikes or outdoor activities, this would be the place. read more

Skye and Jennyare both amazing managers -- knowledgeable, genuinely warm, and make you feel so welcome every time you walk in. The store has a great energy and it's clear that starts from the top. 70% of my life is spent in athletic gear and 60% of what I own is Vuori. While this isn't the largest location in the area, it is my favorite! The staff is super sweet and always remember me (and Jack Jack.) The clothes are top quality and if they don't have something in store, they will order online. Always well stocked, though! read more

The vibe at Vuori Abbot Kinney made this one of my worst retail experiences. As a BIPOC Filipina American who grew up in LA, I have never felt out of place until I walked into this store. During checkout, the male employee assisting me (white male with long brown hair) was incredibly unfriendly and dismissive. The contrast in how I was treated compared to the white customers before me was impossible to ignore. When I gave him my email, which includes my last name, Ramirez, he abruptly turned the iPad toward me and said, "Here, you type it," in a rude manner. The implication that he "didn't know how to spell it" felt both unnecessary and disrespectful. I almost didn't complete my purchase because of this interaction, but I needed to buy pants for my husband. That said, no customer should feel uncomfortable or disrespected while shopping especially in a city as diverse as Los Angeles. Overall, this location needs to do better. Professional development and cultural sensitivity training would go a long way in ensuring all customers are treated with basic respect and dignity. read more

This is an updated review solely based on my experience with the manager at this particular location. Their team does do their best to reach out and rectify any situation to make sure that the brand is represented the best and to make sure that customers who spend their money they feel appreciated. Jennifer reached out to me to discuss the situation and hear me out and most of all it felt genuine. I usually did not leave updates for just interactions, but I will say she did go above and beyond with reassurance that the team will be coached in diversity training and warmness to customers. read more

Great Vuori store in Venice. Charming location and very friendly, helpful staff. The team really stands out - always kind, knowledgeable, and never pushy. They're great at helping with sizing and honest about what works, even when calling in for advice. The store is clean, well organized, and easy to browse. A bit more seating for partners waiting would be a nice addition. The clothing quality is excellent - everything washes well, holds its shape, color, and length, and I've had no issues with pilling (unlike other brands). Genuine, fantastic, happy service doesn't get any better than what I experience today with Charlie's help! She cheerfully greeted me the moment I walked in. I had a bit of a tough day and when I loaded my bike into my truck, I got chain grease all over my brand new awesome Vuori corduroy shorts. She listened with sincere care, told me Vuori had me covered as long as they had the same shorts. They did have them and she swapped out my ruined shorts for a fresh pair "investing in happiness". And let me tell you, she made me happy with her awesome service already...then to swap out the shorts, I'm truly grateful and blown away!! I've already shared the story with my parents and plan to share it any time shopping on Abbot Kinney comes up! I've shopped here at this store many times and everyone is always so helpful and wonderful, but Charlie today was over the top and because of her...I had to leave a Yelp revue!! I didn't realize Vuori had a location on Abbott Kinney. All this time I was ordering stuff off their online store when I could've just drove 10 minutes away to their retail location in Venice. Vuori's clothing is very climate neutral. Very soft and lightweight. I love the way they feel and how it looks on me. Sometimes when I wear their clothing, it feels as if I'm not wearing anything on. It's top quality clothing at its finest. Very comfortable and looks very nice on the body. I love that they have a little patio set up outside for people to just hang out while others are using the fitting rooms. The staff workers are so friendly and accommodating here. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left the shop, there were assistants guiding me through and being very helpful without being aggressive or agitating. I was set up a fitting room by an assistant that kept checking in on me and seeing if I needed to swap sizes or colors. I am very pleased with their customer service. Their pricing is a little bit on the higher end. A tank top, a pair of shorts, and 2 short sleeve polo shirt ran about $250. Other articles of clothing are priced higher. It's all depends on what you get. Worth the price paid for great quality clothes. I will definitely be coming back here for my next purchase. read more
