I love all their soft items for basics like tees and sweats. They have some nice options for casual items. I am not fam of their style but basics and pajamas are great. It's more than the brand's quality, versatile styles, and great sales--it's the people who make it even better--notably Dee, the Manager, and associate/stylist, Victoria. I was in Los Angeles visiting my family during Thanksgiving weekend and happened to be walking on Montana Ave. I wandered into the Splendid store where I was greeted by Victoria. i really was just looking around and wasn't expecting to buy anything but my sales associate was extremely helpful ( not pushy) and even though I couldn't fit another thing in my carry on bag I bought 4 pieces and my daughter bought a few things as well! I orded a chemise that was described on their website as "satin silk chemise". It was originally priced $70, luckily I ordered it when it was on sale for $25 BUT when I received the item the tag on it says: "made from 100% POLYESTER"! It's not silky, soft or "expensive looking or felling. It's definitely not worth the money. How can they get away with blatant false advertising? I called the store and they explained that "the store and the website don't have anything to do with each other." I would have to eamil the address on hte website. I did. I received a robotic reply....I'll keep you posted on the outcome, which better be a full refund and an explantion. read more

I ordered a small pajama set and it was absolutely horrible, it was not small, it was a size large with a small ticket. The fabric was hedious and the color horrible. Extremely expensive for the crapy pajama. I will never buy from them again and I absolutely NOT recommend them. Don't throw out your money in this company. This is not splendid at all. read more

Splendid is a wonderful brand that specializes in buttery soft clothing and tees. You can find great basics here that will never go out of style. This is a pretty large store. One of the worst companies in terms of being able to reach an actual representative. I am a new customer and purchased an outfit that worked out no issues. I went back online and when I hit send it placed an order for the incorrect size ( instead of the small ordered it showed a large) I attempted to contact immediately a representative and was kicked into an eternal loop of recordings and automated replies. A representative instead calling me back responded sorry we cannot do anything as it's a final sale (4th quarter). VERRRRY FRUSTRATING as only trying to get the size I ordered not anything else!! read more

I always have a great shopping experience with Victoria. She lets me know when sales are happening and I usually go in once or twice a year to restock my basics wardrobe. All of the clothes are so soft and I am always complimented on them. Victoria streamlines the process for me so that I can try everything on quickly and be in an out within 30 minutes (and order the items/sizes they don't have for me in store). Especially when purchasing on sale, the items are extremely well priced for their quality -- enough so that I always get multiple colors in the styles I like. read more

Worst customer service!! I ordered pj's for Christmas on a BOGO deal. I double checked the amounts and ordered. As soon as I looked at the email receipt, I noticed one pair not on there, making one full price. I immediately contacted them and explained that I thought I had purchased 4 pairs and only 3 showed. The email said the status was unfulfilled so I asked to add another pair or if I could cancel and order the correct amount. I was told that neither were an option. The only solution was to return them, but the receipt said "not eligible for return"... so now I've spent almost $200 on pjs for Christmas and one daughter doesn't get a pair!! This was my first time buying from this company and I won't be making that mistake again!! Worst customer service ever!! read more

This is the worst company to deal with regarding their customer service. No phone number and when you email them you get a generated email saying the same thing over and over. I bought a dress from them and returned with their shipping label with a tracking number - it says received on the tracking website and I have yet received my refund. Do not buy from this company. This was an online purchase i ordered something that said final sale. They did not have an extra small so i ordered a small thinking if its too big i could get a credit. They will not exchange or give a credit. Final sale means, if you have an issue with anything about this purchase you are screwed. Very unhappy customer. read more

I am surprised how awful my refund process has gone/hasn't happened....still. I ordered two sets of PJ's, one xsmall and one small. They sent me two mediums. I didn't even open the. Plastic bags since I could see the sizes were wrong. I sent back the package with their return label. It has been over two weeks and have to see my $174 refund. I even have a receipt/email from them stating they see the return is on the way. They have NO customer service number, just an email. I've contacted them on several occasions and they email you back but never with an answer or resolution. This is the worst company and I will never order from them or recommend them. read more

Who doesn't like super soft clothing? I love Splendid clothing and was really excited to see that there was an actual store over in Santa Monica! I was so used to perusing the website or heading to a department store to get different pieces that when I realized there was an actual store so close to me I had to get over there and check it out. Even though the store itself isn't huge (and it only has two fitting rooms) it has an open and airy feel to it that is wonderful. The staff is always friendly and super helpful if you are looking for something specific and they are not pushy if you are just wandering through seeing if there is anything you absolutely need to have. I also love that this store carries Women's, Men's, Children's, and Baby clothes. It is nice to see a retail store that is not only welcoming in its design and product but also with has a great staff. Definitely a place I love supporting and I seriously cannot get over how soft everything is! read more

I love Splendid products. This poor review is more for Splendid management/corporate than it is customers, as I have no issue with their clothing, just their staff. I had an extremely rude encounter with a sales representative named Demecia at the Santa Monica location on Montana Ave. She had a scowl on her face, was not helpful during an exchange process, and would barely acknowledge my questions. She seemed put out during the whole process and had extreme attitude when I asked a question for the second time since she never acknowledged me the first time I asked (so I had no way of knowing if she could actually hear me). The poor communication, rudeness, and scowl on her face made for a very unpleasant experience. This is not the kind of person customers want to experience while shopping. I've never experienced such an off-putting sales person in a store before. It's a shame that I'll be reluctant to visit that location in the future. read more

I love the line of clothing...have since I think they first came out. I love that there are actual stores to go in and try things on now as opposed to years ago when they were mostly online. The store is very cute, laid out well and if they are out of stock of something, they offer to find it for you online and order and send to your house. The salespeople are not pushy, and are very helpful to me, I love their stuff. Overall, a great shop in a great location. They do not have the older boys clothing in store though. read more

Splendid makes Premium Quality clothing. I love the clothes. I spend a lot of money at Splendid, though now they have lost me for good as an online shopper. I have a problem with their Return Policy. Did you know you can't return items bought online unless the store stocks them? Considering their sizes are not reliable, this is a huge problem. Did you know Splendid despite being a Premium Retailer uses the cheapest method of the postal service so your returns take longer? Did you know that it takes 7 days to process the return after they receive it? If you buy the same Splendid item in Anthropologie, Bloomingdales, Nordstrom or any major department store, you can return faster because you can return in store and have the item exchanged same day? How does Splendid not offer their customers better service? I now do not trust this brand as I once did after trying to return something and it took three weeks and I live in the same state as the return and mail usually only takes one day to get to a California address, but Splendid used the cheapest method possible and now it takes a week, even though I could drive it there faster...be warned about buying anything online from this company, as their policies and their return policy make me wonder if you can really trust them. read more
