Perfect Lunch. I got seated right away and was brought water as soon as I sat down. Savannah, my server knew exactly what I wanted, even though it wasn't on the menu. The Keto Bowl is Parmesan broccoli , bacon and grilled chicken. It was perfect and came out in a timely manner. Got work done, had a great meal and my review could stop here. Came here with a friend for some drinks and appetizers. We went on a Saturday after the movies and it was the perfect time in my opinion. We ordered drinks and we LOVED them. I had something with bourbon and lemonade and berries. Yummy! I would go back just for that drink. Ordered shrimp tacos, Mac n cheese balls and cauliflower. The shrimp tacos were just okay, they were super salty and really had no flavor. The cauliflower was different. We were not a fan them. The Mac n cheese balls were also plain with not a lot of flavor. I like the atmosphere, the drinks and the service was exceptional. I am willing to try again with other things on the menu. I tried to go by the reviews here...so I will go back and see if I can give this place another try. While there it was not crowded at all and I loved that. read more

In the mood for a burger? Go here! We stopped in after a long day, and this is a place I could see being on my regular list if I lived in the area. I had to get the mac 'n cheese hush puppies because holiday weekend! They were really good - crunchy on the outside, nice and cheesy on the inside, and the tangy dipping sauce was perfect. I was stoked to see they had Hendricks Gin behind the bar - always makes ordering a drink easier because I will always go for a gin and tonic over most things. Our server, Christian, was super friendly and attentive. The layout is similar to most of the businesses in the downtown square - long! I like seeing how each business does their thing with it. I ordered the Radius burger which was delicious, if a bit messy. The cheese tuile on it makes the burger hard to cut which is what I usually do with big sandwiches, but that's okay. It was still amazing. The patties are large and pretty flat but still full of flavor, and honestly, the toppings need that extra space! It even had a large onion ring on top which I'm sad to say, I ran out of space in my stomach before I could eat it. My husband got the Italian beef sandwich and the smallest bloody mary available. He couldn't finish his sandwich, but he was a fan. He got the bacon & bleu cheese topping on his fries while I got the parmesan garlic on mine. I love the options to improve on the fries! The bloody mary was very tasty (I sampled), but since it was the 16 oz. version, it had a more tame garnish skewer with some good cheeses and salami on it. Ugh, I have given this place multiple tries until I finally just gave up. The first time my husband and I had incredibly rude and snobby service while sitting at the bar. Very unwelcoming atmosphere from the bartender. We decided to give it another try and the next time we sat at a table. This place is a real gem in the cute little heart of downtown Valparaiso! Really incredible food, excellent service and a laid back atmosphere. We have frequented Radius quite a bit and we have tried a lot of the menu and we have NEVER been disappointed, not once. The food is just insanely good. Our favorites include the Lemon Rice Soup (seriously, hands down best lemon rice soup we've ever had in the NWI area. Perfect ratio of lemon to rice. Kudos guys!) The Southwest Rolls, MAC and cheese hush puppies, Sweet and Spicy Cauliflower, Black and Bleu Burger and the Shrimp Poboy (ask for extra sauce because it's a tiny bit dry) are all a MUST TRY!! The food is awesome. I had the Elvis peanut butter pretzel burger and my wife had the Wild Mushroom burger. We both loved the burgers. The cole slaw was excellent and my wife liked the steak fries. We met the chef/owner and he is very personable and took good care of us. Our only down side is that the waitress was somewhat inattentive. Not once did she refill our waters and the owner had to tell her that we were ready to order. We've had far worse service at other restaurants, but we've also had better. Delicious food & great service! Came here after not getting service at one place and being told there was an hour wait at another place. I'd always heard about how good the food was at Radius so I was excited to try it. I got the peanut butter burger which was surprisingly delicious! Their bacon & blue cheese fries were also phenomenal (though I wouldn't recommend eating them with a sweet-ish burger). They have daily drink specials and a burger of the month, too. Came here for lunch with a couple friends for Saturday afternoon drinks and burgers, and Radius sure delivered. We all agreed the food was amazing. My friend had a completely ridiculous(but completely awesome) Bloody Mary that came with a burger on top and so many other things I can't even remember(35$) but it was so large and full of food, it isn't something you would be ordering more than one of. The rest of us just ordered burgers and they were delicious and cooked to perfection and had a bunch of flavorful options. The restaurant was very clean inside and had a nice feel to it, especially being on the square of downtown Valparaiso with other things in the area to do afterwards. The only reason why I'm not giving Radius 5 stars is because the service was very slow. My friends and I were in no hurry so it didn't bother us much, but if you had plans afterwords I imagine it would have been frustrating having the long waits between when the waitress would check in on us or refill drinks. Overall, I would suggest Radius to anyone looking for a killer burger. read more

I'm updating my previous review. They changed the menu and its horrible if you have a gluten allergy! The only sides that are gluten free are veggies, salad or coleslaw! No more roasted potatoes on the menu or kabobs! SO dissapointing as they were really delicious and my go to meal. We finally were able to stop in on a Sunday evening and we left an hour and a half later very full and very satisfied. We started off with drinks such as mimosas, Bloody Mary's and Modelos. Appetizers arrived rather quickly. The Mac and cheese hush puppies were great, much more mac than I expected. And the queso and salsa were also very good! Especially the queso. For my entree I had the bbq pulled pork sandwich. It was good, but I felt it could have been better. Possibly crispy onion strings on top might have gave it that extra umph it was missing. My friend had the radius burger and she was very pleased. The most pleased however was my husband! He is the biggest fettuccine Alfredo fan ever, and he actually said this was probably his favorite shrimp fettuccine Alfredo he has ever had. He didn't even need to add pepper and he adds LOTS OF PEPPER to every single pasta dish he orders, but this one had so much flavor he said he didn't need to. There were seven of us and although it was peak dinner, they worked some magic and had us sitting very quickly. Good selection of cold drinks and an awesome menu. They are really in touch with what works here. My Canadian Poutine Burger was really, really good. One in our party ordered some chicken but asked if it could be prepared like the chicken on another menu item. They said they were happy to do it and she loved her item as well. The staff is always exceptional, A++, they are ibe of the big reasons I return, along with the awesome food makes for a great experience. Be sure to try the Cauliflower appetizer, so good! Even my husband liked it and he hates Cauliflower! If you get a burger, bring your appetite or prepare for leftovers. Great for sharing too. We made reservations for a group of 10 after the Valpo Wine Fest. They were very crowded but had our table waiting for us when we arrived. We started with some of their signature cocktails. The mint cucumber martini & peach mango sangria were both delicious. We shared some appetizers, pretzels were a hit, served with cheese sauce & honey mustard and the Mac and cheese hush puppies were also tasty. Most of the table had the Italian beef sandwich & it looked great. I had the Lincolnway Turkey sandwich, it was very good & the portions are generous so I needed a box to go.
