Visiting a friend, we stopped in for lunch...such an inviting space, makes you feel like you were entering someone's home. Loved the decor and how clean everything was (even the bathrooms!) The menu is simple enough with some great standout selections - and if I'm not mistaken, the majority of items comes with soup and choice of potato. Prices seemed average. The soup was HOT and there was a nice variety: cream of mushroom, rosa marina, and vegetable. You can also request a basket of rolls to have with your soup or before. The star of the show for me, besides the cream of mushroom soup was the french fries. Some of the best I've had at a restaurant in a long time. They were great and hot and fresh. I had the Italian dip sandwich, comes with a side of au jus, and it was also super fresh with a some mozzarella cheese on top. But what sealed the deal for us with a 5-star rating was the service!!!! Restaurant has great service and delicious food. Charcoal chicken salad was right up my alley. A ton of sautéed vegetables and not loaded with cheese. Christi's is one of my favorites places to eat. The food is excellent. The lemon rice soup is my favorite the fellows like the potato soup but they only have it on Friday's. They have menu's for children and seniors. They have a lot of special's so there is something for everyone taste. The waitress are friendly and so is everyone there. The Christi's in Knox is the one that we go to. It has a large number of pictures of places and people from the area. It fill like you are in someone's home and having a meal with them. read more

1st time at this restaurant .we took a long motorcycle ride and this is where we stopped for lunch. My husband loves an open faced hot turkey sandwich, he decided to get the turkey dinner which included dressing. He was very happy with the taste the dressing was excellent the baked potato was done very well but he was a little disappointed with the amount of turkey that he got it was A little scarce. Order a bacon cheeseburger, medium, that is extremely over done and dry. Patty tastes like one that comes from a box of 24. Fries were good and bacon as well. My husband had the chicken stir fry, some mix up with his order as he didn't get rice. He was ok with that. My sister got got the fries pollock and liked it. I had the fried chicken all you can eat. Come with soup, salad, rolls, side and dessert. Fried chicken was excellent, mashed potatoes while homemade were quite salty for me. Slow service. Order was incorrect and sent back, new order was also incorrect. The manager said the food would be taken off the bill. However she only took the main portion of the meal off, not the sides dishes. I was also told how I should have ordered it for next time just so they don't mess it up. Guess I didn't know I had to order it correctly so that my food won't get messed up. Thought I did that in the first place. The service was good and the restaurant is very clean. We went for lunch the food was good. The lemon rice soup was disgusting. It was bright fake yellow and was way to lemony. I couldn't eat it. I also hate margarine so I couldn't eat the rolls. They looked like they would have been good. I felt like it took a long time for the food. It was lunch time and the place was almost empty. I couldn't use my coupon because we drank water. It was on the coupon but such fine print you couldnt see it. $25 for two people with water to drink was residuals for lunch. I wouldn't go here agian. Our days of eating at Christo's In Knox is over, most likely will go to one in Plymouth where the waitresses wait on you quite frequently and the Cook knows how to cook and listen to the customers. We ate in Knox, the ribs came with heavy bbq sauce, we told them easy sauce everything on the plate was soaked in sauce, I had the all u can eat chicken, the chicken wasn't that bad, I asked for a couple of pieces of dark meat since it was all u can eat, they told me you can't choose, you get what we give you, instead they gave me a wing and a breast, all white meat, just the opposite. Actually I couldn't eat that big breast, I ate the wing and 1/4 of the breast, that's why I wanted dark meat. Never again and I live in Knox, if I were you I would avoid this place and go to the Railroad Depot one block west of U.S.35 just north of the RR tracks. read more

There are a couple things on the menu that are okay. Everything is packages, frozen, canned, processed junk. AVOID THE BURGERS AT ALL COST! They are hexagon frozen "meat" patties. No seasoning. I ordered Ranch dressing......anyway , didn't worry....just kept on with left hand on toddler and then back to salad to cut up.......Finally I got a bite.....EWWWWWW Blue Cheese........I HATE Blue Cheese.....sooooo I couldn't eat it, made me sick.. so I told the waitress and she sat and tried to School me on the kinds of blue cheese vs the ranch and that if I had blue cheese there would be chunks, I told her of the chunk that came out when I poured it, NO she says I was wrong, and proceeded to go and get a sample of the blue cheese , then plops it on the side of my table and points with her finger almost in it , "See the chunks"....WTF!!!! so then she just leaves the table and the blue cheese that I told her I don't want.......WTF.. so I get her back ( she was like 50 yrs old too) I have seen her there 3 yrs ago.. she should know the menu.......anyhooooooo... I get her back and she says that , that is all the ranch they have.. I didn't have time soooo I said fine get me the salad with the garlic dressing..she leaves goes and gets another salad.......#2..... she comes back ALL Proud of herself......she says" I know now why you tasted Blue cheese... there is Blue cheese in your salad..." WTF I am thinking.....is she smoking something.....I don't want blue cheese so I sent it back and now she brings me another with Blue cheese........... I said can't they make it without blue cheese????? she said " You will have to special order it ".. WHat???? I am like I told you at the beginning i didn't want it......anyway , the manager lady now steps in.......and proceeds to tell me that this is how they serve this salad and they are making me a 3rd salad without the Blue cheese and i said I don't want anything and she proceeds to tell me she can box this one up for me??? WTF.. so she was trying everything to charge me for this salad that I don't want and didn't from the beginning..........SOOOOOO at this point screaming toddler on my arm the whole time I was talking to all of these people..I am getting upset. Soooooo I got loud with this manager and told her that it is Not my fault that her waitress didn't know the menu.. she said they made 3 salads for me and I told her they would of never had to do that if the waitress knew from the beginning that it had Blue cheese in it, I told her that your not gonna force me to eat something I don't want.. she threw her hands back and said I am not, I said , then Why do you keep setting it in front of me and telling me your gonna box it up.. I told her I dont' want to be a bad cust , but your bringing me no choice, it is not my fault that you made 3 salads.. It is your fault, because had your waitress known that there was blue cheese I would of never ordered it in the beginning! Finally after alot of yelling , she took off the price on my bill......we then got some to go boxes for the rest, and the dumb waitress that brought crackers for my daughter came by and took them ??? ERRRRRRRRRR that was the only thing my 2 yr old was eating.....pissed me off, then she proceeded to NOT give us a bag to take our boxes in....so we had to ask for them when we paid.....and my hubs asked for a bag and some crackers and then the people in the back were saying "he wants a Bag of crackers"..........OMG.. they are lucky I didn't light a fuse to that place...it needs a complete overhaul.........do not be be fooled that it is the ONLY place in town that looks good, go to the greasy spoon , you will get better service.
